According to some rumors, Epic Games Store may giveaway GTA 5 for free to its users starting tomorrow (May 14th) till May 21st. EGS will giveaway the “Premium Online Edition” which will include the base game as well as Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack.
Similar as before, users will need to login on the EGS app with two-factor authentication enabled. After that, adding the game to the library during the promotion will add a permanent license to the account.
To this date, the game is selling very well and since its launch, it has sold more than 120 million copies worldwide. GTA V is the best selling game in the series as well as one of the best selling video game ever.
Since the Coronavirus crisis, GTA V has always remained in the top 10 most played games on Steam, and Rockstar is still adding content to the game regularly. The recent Casino update was also very well received and players loved the new quest.
