Ilya ‘Perfecto’ Zalutskiy, once revered as the best anchor in the world, is back in action but this time in the colors of Virtus.pro, replacing FL4MUS after a string of disappointing results.
This change will see Perfecto reunite with fellow Russian Denis ‘electronic’ Sharipov, who now leads the VP CS2 roster as the IGL. Both Perfecto and Electronic parted ways with NAVI, hoping to find success under the Cloud9 banner. Still, several iterations later, the organization once again dissolved, leaving Perfecto on the bench for an extended period of time.
The new Virtus.pro roster managed to find impressive results but failed to go the distance in most tournaments, which goes to show that the potential is there, which they look to sharpen with the addition of a veteran like Perfecto.

The whole roster on paper is expected to do well, but we cannot be sure until we see these five players take on the big names in the second half of 2025. While the talent is there, it is hard to tell if the blend of experience and talent is enough to form a strong team.
