The first seven are already live, according to GamingBible’s full list. The Hunt and Overwatch packs follow on October 6 and 7, and the Spider-Man avatars arrive on October 6.
Sony’s terms say you must own the base game to use a pack’s contents. That’s easy here, because most of these games are free-to-play, and Hunt: Showdown 1896 is one of this month’s PS Plus games.
PS Plus HorrorFest packs explained
Three of the packs belong to Sony’s Halloween promotion, called HorrorFest. In the official PlayStation Blog post, Sony lists the Call of Duty: Warzone Horror Bundle (October 1), the Hunt: Showdown 1896 Starter Pack (October 6) and the Overwatch 2 Dragur Reinhardt + 5 Tier Skips Pack (October 7).

The Hunt Starter Pack is the most useful of the three this month. Hunt: Showdown 1896 joins PS Plus on October 6, so new players can claim the game and the pack on the same day. Sony has not listed what is inside the Starter Pack yet.
If you play Warzone, check what’s coming in Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 6 so the Horror Bundle doesn’t sit unused.
The other bonus packs
GOALS Player Pack. A PS Plus subscriber pack for the free-to-play football game GOALS.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Pack Ticket 50. There are separate PS5 and PS4 versions. Claim the one for the console you play on.
Path of Exile Bundle 25. A PS Plus bundle for Grinding Gear Games’ free-to-play action RPG.
Final Fantasy XIV Aetheryte reward. This gives you an extra free teleport destination, and it runs from October to December. It is the only pack on the list for a paid game.
Tanki Online Exclusive Reward. A cosmetic reward for the free-to-play tank game.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day avatars
The tenth freebie isn’t a game pack. Spider-Man: Brand New Day reaches Sony Pictures Core on October 6, and PlayStation Plus members can claim limited-edition avatars from the Sony Pictures Core app at no extra cost. Non-members have to get the movie on Sony Pictures Core to receive them.
Two dates matter here. The promotion ends on October 20, 2026, and the avatar voucher code expires on October 6, 2027. The avatars are only available in regions where Sony Pictures Core is offered.
How to claim PS Plus packs on PS5 and PS4
- Open the PlayStation Store on your console or in the PlayStation App.
- Go to the PlayStation Plus section and find the PlayStation Plus Exclusive Packs page, or search for the game’s name.
- Select the pack. It should show as included with PlayStation Plus.
- Add it to your library at no cost.
- Launch the game. Most packs appear in your in-game inventory or mailbox the next time you log in.
Your PS Plus membership must be active when you claim. Claim each pack as soon as it goes live, because some PS Plus packs are only available for a limited time.

Note for players in Japan: PS Plus subscribers in Japan get Hello Neighbor instead of Hunt: Showdown 1896. Sony also says monthly games can differ by region, so check the PlayStation Store on October 6.
For Extra and Premium members, Mycopunk joins the catalog on October 20 as a day-one release. The rest of the Extra and Premium lineup is expected in mid-October.
