When Microsoft launched the Xbox Game Pass, it offered extreme value for money, which triggered a wave of excitement among gamers rushing to get it. For a measly monthly subscription, the Game Pass lets players enjoy several AAA titles that would have broken the bank had they not been a part of the Game Pass.
Soon after its initial success, Microsoft incorporated the games from Riot into the pass, which begs the question: Since Valorant and League of Legends are already free to play, what added benefit is offered by said subscription?
As revealed in the press release, XGP offers a whole new layer of rewards for gamers playing Riot’s free-to-play titles after connecting their Riot account to their Xbox Game Pass, and here is how to do it:
- To begin, go to the “Xbox Social Sign-in” page and log in with your MS account.
- Next, pick the Microsoft (Xbox) account that you just used to log in.
- In order to link the two accounts, confirm the connection by clicking the “Yes” button.
- After that, a login prompt for your Riot Games account will appear. After entering your login information, move on to the following stage.
- Now you should have both accounts connected.
Now that you have connected both accounts, make sure to check your inventory for the additional rewards that Riot drops for Game Pass owners from time to time. While they may not be significant, having access to tons of other games for an impressive price shows that a few extra perks never hurt.
