Embark Studios’ ARC Raiders is a future PvPvE extraction shooter taking place on a post-apocalyptic planet Earth. The game conducted a closed Tech Test on Steam in October 2024, giving players a chance to test its gameplay before its scheduled release in 2025. One interesting aspect of this test was that participants could invite friends to play the experience.

How do you invite friends to the ARC Raiders Playtest?
To invite friends for the ARC Raiders Tech Test, participants had to fulfill certain conditions:
- Play Four Rounds: Players had to play a minimum of four rounds of ARC Raiders on their Steam account.
- Minimum Play Time: Each round had to be for at least 30 minutes to ensure that the participants had an adequate amount of gameplay experience before inviting friends.
Once you complete the above-mentioned requirements, follow the steps mentioned below to invite your friend:
- Launch ARC Raiders and click on the “Invite a Friend” button situated in the bottom left corner.
- You can choose either to click on the “Open In Browser” button or scan the QR code.
- You will be redirected to the official ARC Raiders Playtest page.
- There you will find two referral links.
- Share them with your friends to invite them to the game.
Qualified participants would then invite a maximum of two friends to take part in the Tech Test. As a reminder, invited friends should be aged 16 or older. While it was possible to invite friends from any region, the best experiences were mostly found in Europe, North America, and Asia.
