The newly released Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga comes loaded with character DLCs and a season pass among the different editions of the game.
Those who pre-purchased the game also got special pre-order bonuses that include early access to several characters that can be unlocked via the campaign.Â
Pre-ordering the standard or deluxe version of the game will give you early access to the following characters:
- Imperial Death Trooper
- Incinerator Stormtrooper
- Range Trooper
- Imperial Shore Trooper
- Mimban Stormtrooper
- Classic Obi-wan
To unlock these characters, all you need to do is complete any level from one of the starting campaigns below:
- Episode I – The Phantom Menace
- Episode IV – A New Hope
- Episode VII – The Force Awakens
Once you have completed any story mission, free roam will then unlock. Once free roam becomes available, access the character screen via your holoprojector and you will see all the pre-order bonus characters unlocked and ready to play.
Other than the pre-order bonus, those who bought the deluxe edition of the game will also gain access to six DLCs packs on the character screen. The Deluxe edition includes the following:
- The Mandalorian Pack 1
- The Mandalorian Pack 2
- Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
- Classic Characters
- Solo: A Star Wars Story
- Star Wars: The Bad Batch
Aside from the DLC characters, all the characters in the game are free to unlock via the campaign. You just need to have an encounter with the said character in the campaign to unlock them on the character selection screen.
