Unless you have been living under a rock, the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming out on PlayStation and Xbox this November, with a PC version set to follow later. Rockstar has yet to set a date for porting the game to PC.
In this article, we will try to predict it based on the information at hand.
When will GTA 6 come out for PC?
Rockstar Games has yet to announce a release date for GTA 6 for PC. One can argue that, given the series of delays that the console release faced, the PC version will not see the light of day for a few more years. With November 19th, 2026 being the date console owners get to enjoy GTA 6, the frustration of those waiting for the PC version is understandable.
It goes without saying that the release dates floating online are nothing but random guesswork done without any data backing it. As it stands, the timeline for porting a game, especially a game of GTA 6’s scale, can take up to two years.
GTA 6 PC Release Date Prediction
Rockstar has a history of delaying the release of the versions, but if they are anything to go by, we can refer to the timeline for their previous hits to see how the release window pans out. The likes of GTA 5 were released for PC in 2015 after its console release in 2013. On the other hand, Red Dead Redemption 2 received better treatment as it got released for PC within a year of its console debut.
Where can we find GTA VI for PC?
Rockstar has spread its portfolio across multiple vendors, including Steam, EPIC Games Store, as well as the Rockstar Store. It would be safe to assume that the game will be available across multiple platforms, but just like the release date, this is nothing more than an educated guess.
As the console release comes closer, the PC player base is getting increasingly frustrated. Having faced the same delays as the console release, PC players will have to wait longer. Not only does it spoil the game for them, but kill the interest over time.
