HoYoverse has confirmed the addition of Skirk to Genshin Impact as a new playable character with the game’s version 5.7 update.
While information about Skirk in Genshin Impact had been circulating for quite some time, it wasn’t until May 12th that HoYoverse officially unveiled the character.
Skirk, who was first seen in Genshin Impact during the Fontaine Archon Quest finale, has been fighting in the Abyss for several years. She was trained by her master, Surtalogi the Foul, and is herself the mentor of Fatui Harbinger Tartaglia.
Skirk will likely be a 5-star character in Genshin Impact and has been confirmed to use the Cryo element. While her weapon of choice hasn’t been officially confirmed at the time of writing, it’s safe to assume from her artworks that she will use a sword.
Other than that, not much is known about Skirk in Genshin Impact as of yet.
As mentioned earlier, fans will be able to play Skirk with the Genshin Impact 5.7 update, which is expected to hit the live servers on June 18, 2025.
