Pokimane blasts sexist Twitch donator

Pokimane

The biggest female streamer on Twitch, Pokimane has slammed a sexist subscriber, hoping they get banned from the platform for good.

To put some context, the subscriber is a question addressed former professional Hearthstone player “Hafu” inappropriately when calling her “hot” in her 17s. She was brought to question when she accused Blizzard of ignoring a WoW team that competed under a name specifically targeting her in 2008.

Activision-Blizzard has its hands full with an ongoing lawsuit file in California; claims have surfaced that the company houses a plethora of sexual harassment cases. The case has attracted lots of attention from women in the industry, and many shared similar unfortunate cases of sexual harassment.

“You are exactly the kind of person we don’t want in my community or in the greater gaming community at all,” she said. “It is not just a joke to call someone who’s underage hot and justify the fact that people are saying they were going to sexually assault them. Also, it’s not okay to, instead of apologizing for your shi**y comments, to try to flip it and call me or my mods boring for ‘not getting the joke.’ You are so oblivious to your own problems, it’s painful.”

Pokimane was very clear about her dislike towards the person and showed that she did not care about the $2 sub. She wished for him to get banned from Twitch altogether.
