H3H3 banned from YouTube for a week

The Christmas episode of the H3H3 podcast will not be posted on YouTube following a ban on the channel for a year-old video that YouTube suddenly has deemed to be “too dangerous to watch”.

Ethan Klien has announced that his channel has been banned from posting any content on YouTube for a week after a year-old reaction video containing harmful material. The ban comes in just ahead of the release of H3H3’s much anticipated Christmas podcast, which as things are will have to be pushed back until the ban is over.

“Our final Christmas podcasts that we’ve been planning for a month will not be happening,” Klein said on Monday. “We just randomly got a strike because a video we reacted to over a year ago was deemed “too dangerous to watch”. . . Can’t upload for a week. . . Ironically, the videos we watched can all still be found on YouTube as age-restricted, so I don’t understand why the heavy hand for us? Please reconsider your decision, it has a tremendous negative effect on our business and community during an important time.” said Ethan Klien.

Klien has appealed that the video in question has over 100,000 views and is age-restricted, thus bringing YouTube’s decision to ban it at this time of the year in question.

YouTube has rejected his appeal thus there is no way that he will be able to put up his podcast on YouTube which was in the making for over a month. The delay will harm their line of content and this will definitely ruin Christmas for the Klien’s.
