BGMI Roster Update: OR Esports Acquires Robin From Gods Reign

0

OR Esports has announced the acquisition of Robin “Robin” Singh Shekhawat, the renowned Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player, from the roster of Gods Reign. This announcement came through an announcement post on social media platforms. Furthermore, this marked the culmination of a series of events that began with a cryptic tweet from KR Rohith, the CEO of Gods Reign.

OR Esports Secures Renowned BGMI Player Robin from Gods Reign

The saga started with a tweet by Gods Reign’s CEO, KR Rohith, which hinted at a potential roster-related predicament. In a tweet few days before the official announcement, Rohith stated, “WELL GUESS WHAT? The tournament organizers say we need to get in touch with this ORg, apparently they’ve already listed OUR player in their roster for BMPS. Now isn’t that a spicy piece of news, especially when neither us nor our player got the memo! Esport Contracts are a joke.”

This tweet surprised the BGMI community, sparking speculation and intrigue. While Rohith did not explicitly name the player or organization involved, it became evident that the situation revolved around OR Esports and their speculated listing of Robin in the roster for the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023.

Following the tweet, the esports community was in suspense, waiting for official statements to clarify the situation. Finally, OR Esports has released an official announcement, revealing that after discussions with Gods Reign, a resolution had been reached, and Robin had officially become part of OR Esports’ BGMI roster.

The official announcement post on social media conveyed a sense of excitement, stating, “After a meeting with Gods Reign, we’re excited to announce that Robin has officially joined OR Esports’ BGMI roster. Special thanks to KR Rohith for making it happen. Welcome to the family Robin!”

New CS2 Anti-Cheat in the Works: Richard Lewis

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been a game plagued by cheaters for the entire time it was active and fans hoped that CS2 would include a more robust anti-cheat system that would stop the plethora of cheaters from ruining competitive matches but so far there has been nothing.

Now that the in-game Premier Matchmaking has become the go-to for players ahead of 3rd party platforms like Faceit or ESEA, shouts for an improved anti-cheat have been louder than ever. CS2 came out without having a key feature like Overwatch which made the situation worse and with Premier mode being one of the most played modes in the game, players are getting increasingly frustrated with playing on official servers where run-ins with cheaters are not surprising anymore.

Fans hoped for an anti-cheat system that works at a hardware level similar to Valorant. HiKo pointed out how the community was skeptical about such anti-cheat affecting performance but since the launch of Riot’s Vanguard, it has only made the experience more worthwhile for Valorant players.

“There was meant to be an announcement in the original video,” said Richard Lewis, hinting at the announcement of Valve’s new anti-cheat system.

He further pointed out that the removal of Overwatch was a planned decision as they have an improved anti-cheat in the works that are likely to hit the servers in the coming days knowing the developers we cannot put a time frame on the update but it is definitely in the works.

The specifics for the anti-cheat system are not available yet but it will likely be something that works at the kernel level to block any software from making augmentations to the game. An improved anti-cheat was one of the most highly anticipated features from CS2 and it’s depressing to see it hasn’t arrived yet.

IShowSpeed might quit YouTube after getting swatted again

0

Notoriously famous for leaking private information, IShowSpeed has been on the receiving end of doxing after he got swatted in his new home while streaming.

Swatting has been a persistent issue with streamers who have their address leaked to the whole world. IShowSpeed is the latest victim of swatting, with a pack of police officers flooding his apartment when he was streaming. Speed being an unsuspecting victim was surprised to see it happen given the frustrating nature of the incident.

Having moved in recently in his 10 Million dollar home, the idea was to move out of his previous place where he had been swatted which ended up with him in handcuffs. After moving to his new home, this is the first time he got swatted and now that his address has been leaked, there is no stopping him from getting swatted moving forward.

“Yo what the f**k is happening bro?” said a frustrated Speed. “There’s no way. I’m about to quit YouTube bruh, I can’t do this anymore.” he added.

After getting swatted twice in the same week, it is only fair that he gets frustrated and decides to quit streaming. It is abundantly clear that no one enjoys swatting as a prank anymore and all it does at this point is to cut short streams. Swatting has become dangerously common these days and the only to streamers can avoid it is not to have their addresses or any other personal information out in the open.

BGMI Roster Update: Kyoya Joins Big Brother Esports

0

Jaideep “Kyoya” Mankar, the shining Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) star of Medal Esports, has officially become a part of Big Brother Esports. This acquisition comes on the heels of Kyoya’s stellar performance in the recent Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. Kyoya will now be playing under the banner of Big Brother Esports in the upcoming tournaments.

Kyoya’s Journey to Big Brother Esports’ BGMI Roster

Kyoya’s journey with Medal Esports has been nothing short of remarkable, marked by consistent performances that have solidified his position among the best players in India. Throughout his stint with Medal Esports, he showcased an incredible level of skill and determination, contributing significantly to the team’s success. Notably, Medal Esports clinched the sixth position in both BGMI Masters Series Season 2 and the prestigious Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023.

Despite a brief loan period with TeamXSpark during the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023, the team couldn’t quite live up to expectations, finishing at a respectable but not outstanding 16th position. This, however, does not diminish Kyoya’s individual prowess, as his performance remained noteworthy even in the face of team challenges.

On the other hand, Big Brother Esports, founded in 2022, has been making waves in the competitive BGMI scene with its consistent and impressive performances. In the recent Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023, the team secured a commendable runner-up position, showcasing their potential to be a dominant force in BGMI esports.

The addition of Kyoya might strengthen up the team’s already strong roster. With this latest addition, the team will aim to reach new heights in BGMI esports. However, it will be interesting to see whether the team gels up as expected or it faces problems.

Magnus Carlsen taunts Hiraku for cheating allegations

0

Popular chess streamer and Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura has been at the centre of cheating allegations after he broke the Blitz record on Chess.com which led to Magnus Carlsen taking a dig at him on X.

Arguably the best chess player in the world, Magnus Carlsen has taken a dig at Hiraku with a picture where the Japanese-born Grandmaster loses the game after he caused a debacle with his pawn and bishop. One can argue that loss could have been avoided by Nakamura given such a mistake is not expected from a Grandmaster.

This news follows Russian Grandmaster Vladimir Kramnik leaving a cheeky message on his Chess.com profile hinting that the website is housing cheaters after the news of Hiraku breaking the record surfaced. Fans instantly connected the dots that Vladimir was hinting towards the record-breaking performance of Nakamura.

“Wins all these online events, yet doesn’t know how pawns capture? Interesting,” he wrote on X.

Hiraku hit back saying “I know you don’t know how the knight moves, I was hoping you didn’t know how the pawn moves too!”, referencing Carlsen’s question on Andrea and Alexandra Botez where he asked how the knight moves.

Several chess players recently have been subjected to cheating allegations and with so many big names going after Hiraku, it will be interesting to see how he defends himself. Kramnik is convinced and now Magnus Carlsen hinting at the same would put Hiraku in hot waters.

For those with a spirit of adventure, the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness offers strenuous hiking trails and spectacular views. The imposing Mount Chiliad has cable car equipment that takes players to the top for a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding area.

The Grand Senora Desert provides chances for exhilarating activities and adventure racing for anyone with a taste for the extreme. Large saltwater lake Alamo Sea is also ideal for calm boat cruises or wild jet ski chases.

San Fierro’s lush environment provides lots of chances for outdoor recreation. The care given to detail in the game’s design is evident when strolling through the verdant forests of Mount Diablo or spending some time in the peaceful park in Foster Valley.
