Ghost of Tsushima PC Crash Fix: How to Resolve Stuttering Issues on Steam

PlayStation recently released their single-player title- Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut for PC on Steam. The game became an instant hit registering more than 50k concurrent players every day since release. On May 19th, the game even hit 77154 concurrent players surpassing the numbers of God of War on the same day.

It has now been discovered that the game can run into a snag which can cause it to crash or stutter. There are a lot of reasons that can cause this problem. Fortunately, we have found some remedies that may be able to help you with your game.

  • Verify the integrity of the files in the Steam
    • Everyone who has been playing games through Steam knows that the easiest way to fix any problem with the game is to verify the Integrity of the game files.
  • Turn off Frame Generation
    • Considered to be the best way to increase frame rate in the game, Frame Generation is being named the biggest culprit for crashes and stuttering issues. Turning it off in the game settings can help you with the issue. You should find this setting under Display settings in the game.
  • Turn off Upscaling
    • This is a setting that can improve the visuals of the game. Since Upscaling is a GPU-intensive process, turning it off for now should help your case. You should find this setting under Display settings in the game.
  • Disable PlayStation Overlay
    • For many players, the PlayStation Overlay has been the reason for crashes and stuttering. Unfortunately, there is no on/off switch for the overlay, but there is a way we can disable it. Follow the steps below.
    • Go to the Program Data folder in your system’s installation directory. (Usually, it’s the C drive)
    • Go to Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc
    • Delete PSPC_SDK.
    • Launch the game in offline mode.

If the issue does not get fixed even after trying all the steps above, then you will have to wait for an official fix by the developers of the game. Many are blaming this issue on Nexes Software- the studio behind porting the game to PC. We are sure the developers are already notified about the issue and a fix is expected anytime soon.

LoL Esports Announce Faker As The First Inductee In Hall of Legends

League of Legends Esports has just announced that Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok is the first inductee of the prestigious LoL Hall of Legends.

The announcement states that Faker has been added as the first Hall of Legends inductee due to “his mastery of League of Legends gameplay, numerous contributions to the sport, and for inspiring millions of fans across the globe.”

Since Riot Games unveiled the Hall of Legends in January 2024, the community has been buzzing with speculation regarding its potential inductees. However, the news isn’t particularly surprising, considering that the majority of the community had already acknowledged Faker as the most deserving candidate to be immortalized in the game’s Hall of Fame.

“Faker is truly the most iconic and influential figure in League of Legends and esports history,” John Needham, President of Esports at Riot Games, said in a statement. “His name is synonymous with excellence in LoL Esports, and he has rightfully earned his place as our very first Hall of Legends inductee.”

Fortnite, developed by ‘Epic Games’ is a game based on the battle royale concept. Ever since its release in July 2017, the game quickly built up a massive player base. Fast forward to the present, the game is known to collaborate with huge brands like Lego, NFL, Marvel, DC, and much more. They haven’t been shy when bringing some athletes(Neymar Jr., Lebron James, etc) and artists (Eminem, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, etc) to the game.

Considering the number of collaborations Fortnite has been a part of, their closet has multiple character skins you can choose from. You can be ‘Peter’ from ‘Family Guy’ or ‘Rick Sanchez’ from ‘Rick and Morty’ and the list goes on and on. Have you ever wondered how many character skins does Fortnite have in 2024? 22feet Tribal Worldwide has unveiled their new campaign for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI), KRAFTON India’s popular battle royale game, titled ‘Hai Thoda Time, Play Thoda BGMI’. The hilarious campaign highlights BGMI’s range of quick gameplay modes, tailored for the evolving needs of modern gamers.

In response to the growing demand for shorter, more dynamic gaming experiences, the campaign recognizes the contemporary challenge of time constraints faced by gaming enthusiasts. ‘Hai Thoda Time, Play Thoda BGMI’ showcases how seemingly insignificant moments in everyday life can create opportunities for playing the whole new line-up of immersive Quick Game Modes on BGMI.

BGMI became a sensation in India banking on its highly viral and long Battle Royale mode. While this mode remains the most popular in BGMI, the campaign highlights the array of quicker game modes available in the game.

The campaign features a series of three quirky films that explore the unexpected pockets of free time, or “thoda time,” that are perfect for enjoying BGMI’s Quick Game Modes. The humorously absurd scenarios depict the butterfly effect triggered by minor events, ultimately leading to characters finding the perfect short break to play BGMI, because these quick game modes can be fired up anytime, anywhere.

The first film shows a dramatic showdown as ‘Kutty Gangster’ follows a lovesick gangster whose plan to eliminate his rival backfires hilariously, causing enough chaos to delay a nearby cab on the street.

‘A Fishy Tragedy’ depicts the chaotic chain reaction set off by a dead fish and a mischievous cat, leading a professor to miss the bus and get late for class.

In ‘Record Breaker’, we see Sushil break an unusual record of bursting the most balloons ever. Now celebrating this feat leads to a boss delaying his meeting due to some pigeons. How all this ties together is the delight in this film.

All three bizarre scenarios ultimately lead to the characters enjoying the Quick Game Modes on BGMI.

Within a few days after the initial leaks of Valve’s upcoming title ‘Deadlock’ appeared online, numerous additional leaks have surfaced on social media forums, highlighting various elements of the game.

For the uninitiated, Deadlock is set to be Valve’s next big title—a 6v6 third-person competitive shooter on a huge map with four lanes, combining elements of Dota 2, Overwatch, Team Fortress 2, and Smite. Previously known as ‘Neon Prime’ and ‘Citadel’, Deadlock has been generating widespread interest online despite the lack of an official announcement from Valve.

Recently, we’ve seen several screenshots from the game getting leaked on X (formerly Twitter) that seem to shed light on what players can expect from the game. However, the finer details of Deadlock remained a mystery.

Deadlock Gameplay Footage Leaked

On May 21st, the ‘PlayerIGN’ X handle appears to have leaked the first-ever gameplay footage from the closed alpha test of Deadlock.

The leaked footage, which is over a minute long, showcases Deadlock in dynamic action, with the player navigating transit lines reminiscent of Bioshock Infinite. Additionally, we catch glimpses of the majority of playable characters featured in the game. According to the leaker, the current state of the game includes over 19 playable heroes.

Deadlock Release Date

As mentioned earlier, Valve has yet to make any official announcements regarding Deadlock. Thus, all the information we’ve encountered thus far remains speculative, derived solely from leaks.

However, according to a Tyler McVicker video, Valve is currently conducting public testing of the game in a Closed Alpha phase, hinting that an official announcement may be imminent.

When Is the Next CS2 Weekly Care Package Reset?

The new weekly reward system introduced with CS2 lets players choose a desired reward out of the options presented once a week. While the rewards aren’t exactly the most exciting ones who would reject a free case that could unlock a rare skin?

While the weekly drop system is a fun addition, only CS2 Prime members are eligible for the drops. These drops could net someone a ton of goodies, but other times, they would leave their inventory empty for days. One drop a week means players need to wait another 7 days or till the counter resets again.

In Counter-Strike 2, the Weekly Care Package is updated every Tuesday at 8:00 PM CT (or 6:00 PM PT). This indicates that the next reset for the CS2 Weekly Care Package will take place on Tuesday, May 28 at 8:00 PM CT, which is equivalent to Wednesday, May 29, at 1:00 AM GMT.

So make sure to log in at an appropriate time once a week to collect your rewards, they may not be much but who knows, someday you might get a top-tier skin that would burn hold in your pocket if you were to get it from the store.
