Overwatch 2 Competitive Drives: Rewards & How To Get

0

The new Overwatch 2 Competitive Drive feature is here, and it will enable players to get a bunch of exciting rewards by participating in this limited-time mode.

As per the latest Overwatch 2 patch notes, “Competitive Drives are limited-time events that take place near the end of seasons in Competitive Play Role Queue.”

As players complete these Competitive Drives, they’ll proceed to earn bonus Competitive Points as well as a new form of rewards called “Signatures”. These Signatures are cosmetic rewards that appear by the player names in several locations, including the Name Card, Play of the Game Highlights, Scoreboard, and Hero Select. Additionally, Signatures can be upgraded by reaching Checkpoints in a Drive.

Without further ado, let’s check out the full list of rewards included in the new Competitive Drives system of Overwatch 2.

Overwatch 2 Competitive Drives Rewards List

Overwatch 2 Competitive Drive

As mentioned earlier, Competitive Drives are limited-time events that take place at the end of an Overwatch 2 season. Throughout the event, players can earn Drive Points that are added or deducted based on whether they win or lose matches.

By collecting these Drive Points, players are able to go through several Checkpoints during the event.

Checkpoints are stages that prevent you from losing Drive Points. There are a total of six different checkpoints, with each checkpoint giving you new rewards.

Below, we have listed all the Checkpoint Rewards you can get in the Competitive Drives event:

  • 500 Competitive Points
  • Signature
  • 1000 Competitive Points
  • Advanced Signature
  • 1500 Competitive Points
  • Elite Signature

With exciting rewards on the line, the newly-added Competitive Drive feature is expected to further incentivize players into grinding the ranked mode of Overwatch 2.

Valorant Mobile Alpha Gets New Advanced Training Mode Ahead of PC & Console Versions

0

Valorant Mobile has once again taken the lead. The Alpha version of the shooter now features an advanced Training Mode, outpacing its PC and Console counterparts.

This news comes only days after our earlier report regarding the mobile-exclusive replay system. For the uninitiated, a replay system for Valorant Mobile is currently in the works, as per leaks from multiple sources.

According to a recent leak by prominent Valorant dataminer ‘ValorantLeaksEN’, the Valorant Mobile alpha build now features an advanced Training Mode where players can sharpen their skills in combat.

The leaked footage shows a player in the Training Mode practicing ‘Jump Peeking’, an important skill that can be used to bait out Operator shots or safely get information on enemies.

Fans can take a look at the clip of the new Valorant Mobile Training Mode below.

Whether you’re a newbie to the game or a seasoned Valorant pro, this Training Mode should be a huge help to anyone looking to warm up their fingers before hopping onto a competitive match.

While the PC and console versions of Valorant do offer a Practice Range, it pales in comparison to the advanced Training Mode available in Valorant Mobile, which seems to excel in several key areas.

It remains to be seen whether these much-needed features, such as the replay system and training mode, will be added to Valorant on PC and console in the near future.

Valorant Champions 2021 Winners Quit VCT Citing ‘Decay’ of Tier-2 Scene

0

ACEND Club, winners of the inaugural Valorant Champions tournament, has announced their departure from VCT ahead of the 2025 season.

In a recent statement posted on the organization’s official Twitter handle, ACEND takes a shot at the tier-2 scene of Valorant, describing the shooter’s competitive ecosystem as “hostile”.

“The tier-2 ecosystem has been showing alarming signs of decay this year with tournament organizers going out of business, not paying out prize money, and canceling tournaments,” the statement reads.

Despite winning the first Valorant Champions tournament alongside a Masters event, ACEND was not chosen to be a part of the 30 franchised teams for the VCT international leagues in 2022.

Regardless, the org continued to invest in Valorant esports, competing in the Central and Eastern European Challengers League. Acend narrowly missed promotion to VCT EMEA in 2023, losing to Gentle Mates in the Ascension lower bracket final.

“The increasingly hostile ecosystem has simply made it untenable to responsibly run a team,” the statement further said.

While ACEND’s competitive Valorant team will no longer be active, the organization’s content team will continue to produce content for fans, as confirmed by a staff member on Reddit.

GodLike Esports Secures First BGMI Official Tournament Qualification with BMPS 2024 Grand Finals Spot

0

GodLike Esports has made history by securing their first-ever qualification for a BGMI official tournament with a spot in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2024 (BMPS 2024) Grand Finals. The team’s impressive performance in the Semi Finals has not only showcased their skill but also their consistency. Notably, this qualification follows a string of upsetting performances by the team where it failed to qualify for several official and unofficial events.

GodLike Esports Paves Its Way to BMPS 2024 Grand Finals

GodLike Esports demonstrated a commanding presence throughout the Semi-Finals, amassing a total of 95 points across 16 matches. The team cemented their position in the Grand Finals with the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD) in their last match. However, the team has shown consistency throughout the tournament so far.

The path to the Grand Finals was not easy, as several prominent teams fell short of the mark. Teams like Gujarat Tigers, Carnival Gaming, iQOO SouL, WSB Gaming, and Global Esports did not even make it to the Semi Finals. Moreover, while Krafton India Esports hasn’t announced it yet, it appears that teams such as CARPE DIEM, Blind Esports, Gods Reign, and MOGO Esports have also been eliminated from the Semi-Finals.

GodLike Esports’ qualification for the BMPS 2024 Grand Finals comes as a significant redemption after a series of disappointing performances in both official and unofficial events. Previously, the team had struggled to make it past early stages, leading to a wave of criticism from opponents and their fan bases. Despite being a fan favorite, these setbacks had marred their reputation and fueled backlash. However, their recent success in securing a spot in the Grand Finals has not only silenced some of the critics but also reignited hope among their loyal supporters, proving that they can still rise to the occasion and compete at the highest level.

How to Find the NaNa Village in Lego Fortnite?

0

In LEGO Fortnite, you will find adventure at full scale including dinosaurs, pirates, and lots of hidden treasures. It is NaNa Village, which hides its treasures and surprises. Let’s find out the NaNa village in this article.

Unlike other features of Lost Isles, NaNa Village is also known as NaN’er Hamlet and can be viewed spawned at any random location for every world seed. This means that its place need not always be set at the same spot for every game; therefore, the probabilities could even be a wee bit harder to think about its location. But once you get a glimpse of it, you know you’ve struck the jackpot because, unlike other features in Lost Isles, the village itself doesn’t change.

How to Find the NaNa Village in Lego Fortnite?

nana village lego fortnite

NaNa Village can appear in any of Lost Isles‘ biomes. You might find it furtively hidden behind a dense jungle, overlooking a virgin beach, or even on a grassy plain. Be on the lookout for a sort of marked village square and a small, colorful character known as Bananthony.

Lost Isles is an enormous map so be prepared to do a bit of exploration. Search every area and watch out for your surroundings.

If you can’t seem to track down NaNa Village, try using a custom world seed. This way, the village will certainly spawn in a given spot, so finding it may prove easier.

All throughout the game, keep an eye out for other points of interest aside from the other landmarks and features. Maybe NaNa Village is located somewhere near a particular species of dinosaur or place of interest.

Once found, you unlock a series of challenges and rewards upon finding NaNa Village. These challenges can be so fun and rewarding and tend to lead pretty decent loot and collectibles.
