Brawl Stars x John Cena Challenge: Win 2500 Krusty Kash and Exclusive Rewards for Free!

0

Rejoice brawl stars player – cause an “invisible” collaboration that “you can’t see” has gotten you Krusty Kash for grabs! John Cena’s challenge in Brawl Stars stirred up the players so much that due to a technical issue that occurred during the challenge, Supercell is awarding 1000 FREE Krusty Kash to everyone – directly redeemable from the in-game shop.

But, how do I participate in Brawl Stars x John Cena challenge?

Well, the steps to participate in the Brawl Stars x John cena challenge are pretty straightforward. Just start with 15 match wins in under 72 hours between September 20 and September 23

You should find the mode available right on the game modes menu, right next to event modes. However, to go in, you will need to have completed the tutorial and should have at least 400 trophies with you.

The game mode is a composite of 5 different modes and to progress you will have to win 3 of each. Consecutive games lead you to move on to the next round, whilst having no penalties for losing a mode.

As for the 5 modes, each will have a different map, so here are the mode and map combinations:

  • Secret or Mystery (Heist)
  • Deep End (Knockout)
  • Parallel Plays (Hot Zone)
  • Double Swoosh (Gem Grab)
  • Shooting Star (Bounty)

Despite the short duration, the mode becomes easier to beat due to the “team up” option which allows you to play with other brawlers. This means getting your friends on the game or random brawlers to help you reach the milestones faster!

How to get the free Krusty Kash through the John Cena x Brawl Stars challenge?

That is the reward for beating all the five game modes where you will win 1500 Krusty Kash – spendable across all the rewards available in the Krusty store – which also includes Spongebob and other artifacts. Above all of this, you also get to unlock an exclusive custom profile icon – that is designed with John Cena’s iconic chain in mind.

This when combined with the FREE Krusty Kash that’s being given out due to the technical glitch should easily give you 2500 Krusty Kash in your sand bucket. Happy Brawling!

This Wingman Bug May Have Cost M80 the VCT Ascension Finals

0

The grand finals of VCT Ascension Americas got pretty intense, as 2GAME took on M80 in a thrilling best-of-five showdown on September 22nd. The nail-biting series went the distance, with all five maps being played, and 2GAME ultimately emerged victorious, while M80 suffered their second consecutive loss in the Ascension grand finals.

However, a potential Wingman bug during the final map of the series has caught the attention of several players, as it proved to be a critical turning point in the game.

M80 found themselves in a difficult position during the first half of Bind, trailing 2-10 on defense. However, they turned things around by winning the pistol round after the half and successfully converting their bonus round, closing the gap and bringing the score to a more manageable 6-10.

The Wingman bug came into play during the following round. After planting the spike, M80 prepared for a 3v3 post-plant, with Gianfranco “koalanoob” Potestio on Raze taking cover in the B-site cubby. However, a Wingman, thrown by Gekko, unexpectedly hit Potestio. While Raze was able to gun down the Wingman in time, it ultimately led to her death as Gekko cleared out the corner.

Upon closer inspection of the clip, the Wingman can be seen bouncing off a wall, hitting Raze despite her not being in its vision cone at all. This unusual interaction has led many players to believe it was a bug that cost M80 the round—and potentially the entire series.

Prominent Valorant YouTuber ‘Thinking Man’s Valorant’ brought this incident to light in a recent video. You can watch the video below, starting at the relevant timestamp.

After winning this round, 2GAME was able to close out the map without giving up any further rounds to their opposition, ending Bind with a 13-6 score. With this victory, 2GAME has made its way to the VCT Americas league.

LoL Worlds 2024: Format, Predictions & More

The League of Legends World Championship is nearing and the biggest tournament of the year has got all the teams gearing up at full speed. We’ve got you covered on everything you need to know when it comes to the overall LoL Worlds predictions letting you build your strategies for bets around the teams, and the match structures for the biggest League of Legends tournament of the season.

Firstly, let’s take a look at the tournament Format.

LOL Worlds 2024: Tournament Format

The tournament is set to begin on September 25 going all the way until November 2, in Europe. There is a total of 20 teams set to go into the tournament fighting for the Summoners Cup along with the title of the “Best League of Legends” team in the world.

Additionally, this year marks the 14th anniversary of the League of Legends franchise for Riot. The community is expecting a new play-in stage and the Swiss stage just like the previous year, which makes the competition even more thrilling for everyone.

The Worlds Play-in stage

Well, the play-ins kick off on September 25, lasting an entire 5 days. The teams are split into groups of 4, battling in a double-elimination bracket. The winner from each of those brackets will be thrown into a group stage with the remaining 4 teams.

Here is an expected Play-in divisions list:

  • Group A – MAD Lions KOI, Vikings Esports, PSG Talon, and paiN Gaming
  • Group B – GAM Esports, Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks Gaming, 100 Thieves, Movistar R7

For more details on the format, click here.

Worlds Main event

Following the conclusion of the Play-ins, the group stages would begin. Also starting this year, teams will not be divided into group stage anymore but would go into a swiss format meaning:

Teams that have 3 wins would head directly to the final stage and the ones with 3 matches dropped will be knocked out. The qualification and knockout matches would be best of three and the other matches would be a single win or lose.

This effectively would also mean that teams from the same region could be battling it out in the early stages of the game potentially causing internal civil wars!

LOL Worlds 2024 Predictions

Well, just like every year, trying to figure out what the meta is, whilst also figuring out who is bound to perform well is a big achievement in itself but such information is what helps us get valuable intel about the LoL Worlds Betting scene.

But do not worry, we’ve gone through every piece of information and data available to help you figure out your selections for the Lol Worlds predictions.

Starting right off of the bat, the play-ins would provide us with the 2 winners where we expect the following teams to definitely make it out of the play-ins.

  • Group A: PSG Talon, MAD Lions KOI
  • Group B: 100 Thieves, GAM Esports

Worlds 2024 Main event’s favorite predictions

Well, predictions like these are very hard to pull off and this year proves that there are no exceptions to this situation. While we wait to find the top 16 teams that will make it to the group stages, we strongly expect previous rank-holder teams like LCK teams (HLE, Gen.G) and LPL team (BLG) to be at the forefront. There are several dark horses, however, such as WBG, LNG, G2, TL, and last year’s champions, T1.

Finally a note on where to watch the tournament.

Where to watch LOL Worlds?

Like every year, LOL Worlds can be streamed on both YouTube and Twitch with English Broadcasters. The channels that broadcast in your regional languages will have their own localized streams in native languages.

Bilibili a Chinese streaming giant retained full broadcasting rights for Worlds and while it hasn’t been confirmed who – we know that one streaming platform would be getting all the rights this time around as well. Considering the co-streams and Riot’s intention to go global, we expect this tournament to be a mega hit!

Valorant Ranked Rollback: Not the Feature We Want, but the One We Need

0

Riot recently rolled out an update that would give players back their elo whenever a cheater was detected in a match, thereby stopping cheaters from ruining Valorant ranked matches for everyone.

This we believe is a step in the right direction and should be implemented across the esports industry in all competitive games.

Consider yourself a regular ranked player in a random competitive game and you would immediately understand why this update means a lot to players like you. The sinking feeling of entering a match and immediately finding out through a teammate that there is an enemy who is cheating in the lobby and you can’t help but watch that person tear your team apart and wait for the misery to end.

Now even though you report them and receive a notification a day later that they’ve been banned, you have lost some things that couldn’t have been given back to you. Your time, your mental peace, and worstly the only thing that caused all of these issues – your elo.

Well, not anymore! This is what Riot changed with the new dev update where a new anti-cheat system called Ranked rollbacks aims to combat this exact issue by detecting a cheater in a lobby and once the match ends, the lost ratings are returned to all the players except for the cheaters.

Valorant Ranked Rollback

Drawing the match is a time-consuming, unsustainable method to avoid this issue, but would often only work in high-ranked lobbies where even the team with the cheater would want the cheater to not win – thereby teaming up with you to help the cheater not win or not lose the match. This method thereby is very tilt-inducing, which highlights the need for Ranked rollback even more!

Vanguard, despite being one of the better anti-cheats, cannot always detect hackers right within the matches – leading to the irreparable damage they cause to matches and lobbies, but only later send you a notification about how the reported player was banned – a consolation prize that leaves a bitter taste in the players’ mouths.

Well as of now, the idea seems more than welcome in a lot of forums, and of course, the system wouldn’t be ready to be deployed as is – due to issues such as leavers and throwers who still ruin ranked experiences. As of now the solution addresses cheaters and it’s expected that Riot will address all of these issues in the near future.

Finally, we believe that Ranked Rollback is definitely something we all had on the back of our minds, but never believed could happen – and is a welcome change that all competitive matches should implement to address player grievances
