NetEase has added a new feature to Marvel Rivals with the game’s April 17 update, and it enables players to further customize the skins that they already own with various color palettes.
Alongside costume colors, the new Marvel Rivals update has also introduced a couple of new skin bundles to the hero shooter, alongside a few crucial bug fixes.

Marvel Rivals: How To Customize Character Costumes
Below, we have listed the detailed steps that you need to follow to customize your character skins in Marvel Rivals:
- Launch Marvel Rivals
- Go to the ‘Heroes’ tab located at the top of the main menu
- Select the skin that you wish to change
- Hit ‘Customize’
- Pick the color pattern that you want
- Hit ‘Acquire’
Note that not every character costume in Marvel Rivals can be customized. In fact, at the time of writing, only four skins in the game have the customization option in Marvel Rivals.

Unfortunately, skin customizations in Marvel Rivals aren’t free.
Players will have to spend 600 Unstable Molecules to customize a skin in Marvel Rivals. Unstable Molecules can be obtained in a 1:1 ratio by exchanging Lattice, one of the premium currencies in the game.
However, the devs have assured players that they plan on introducing additional ways to obtain this new currency in the future.
