Where to eliminate the trespassers in Fortnite?

0

Epic Games have introduced a new challenge in Fortnite’s season 7 and now the players have to eliminate Trespassers in order to complete the quest.

Trespassers are aliens who pilot the UFOs that can be found flying around the map around the players. Some of the locations have purple names instead of white ones, those indicate that the UFOs are on patrol there.

In order to eliminate these Trespassers, players have to get decent weapons and go to one of these locations and start shooting down the UFOS. Once you start shooting, they might start firing back at you but you can still make the UFOs crash by continuously shooting at them.

When one of the UFOs crashes, the players have to run to the site and take out the alien Trespasser that is lying inside. They can still have superior weapons and shields which can knock you out.

There are various other weekly challenges that have to be completed by the players in order to get the rewards.

All the Epic and Legendary Quests are given below:

NIP move past Team Liquid at IEM Cologne 2021

Ninjas In Pyjamas reverse-sweep Team Liquid in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals of Group A.

Match details

  • Team Liquid vs NIP
  • Event : IEM Cologne 2021
  • Event Type: LAN w/o crowd
  • Date: 08/087/2021

Map Veto

  • NIP removed Vertigo
  • Liquid removed Ancient
  • NIP picked Overpass
  • Liquid picked Dust2
  • NIP removed Inferno
  • Liquid removed Nuke
  • Mirage was leftover

Map 1: Overpass (Team Liquid 19-17 NIP)

Team Liquid came out on top in the first pistol round, but Hampus ‘hampus’ Poser’s men quickly answered back by buying up in the second round as Terrorists. Both sides traded rounds back and forth but it was Liquid who prevailed when it came to converting successful retakes over the compromised territories. The North American team then found their footing on the defense, as Michael “Grim” Wince led the way for his side to take four round wins before the switch, the first half ending 9-6 in the favour of Team Liquid.

Liquid took control of proceedings against the Ninjas In Pyjamas early on into the second half, with a swift 12-6 lead on the attacking side of Overpass. A crazy second half indeed ensued as Liquid couldn’t win two rounds in a row after going 14-9 against NiP which saw the latter square off the scores thanks to Device’s ace with his AWP in the 25th round which helped the swedes gain momentum. A combined effort from Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo and Keith ‘NAF’ Markovic saw the North Americans force the first overtime over NiP where each and every player of Liquid came out with their guns blazing depicting an aggressive approach, the likes of which were only possible to be witnessed on LAN.

Map 2: Dust2 (NIP 16-6 Team Liquid)

On their offense, Team Liquid took a 3-0 lead to start Dust2, the second map of the Best of 3 series in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinal of the IEM Cologne 2021. With a couple of straightforward pistol and anti-eco rounds, Liquid went on to extend their lead to 6 while the Ninjas In Pyjamas found themselves trailing by 2-6 to the North Americans. Linus ‘LNZ’ Holtäng recouped for his team in the tenth round to halt Team Liquid‘s progress with a 4K B-site anchor. This indeed propelled the odds in favor of NiP who secured the first half with a 9-6 lead.

Coming from the break, the second half of Dust2 was purely a carbon copy, the one which we witnessed on Overpass, but this time it was Hampus and his men who were in the driver’s seat. The North Americans looked completely destitute and listless as their defenses were constantly breached by the Swedish side. The second map of the series eventually was won by the Ninjas In Pyjamas 16-6.

Map 3: Mirage (NIP 16-2 Team Liquid)

On Mirage, the Europeans started this time way ahead of Team Liquid, a force that stood unmatched to that of the latter. NiP undoubtedly was the best team on this decider as they constantly blew up the reinforcements, being set up by the North American side all the way to a 9-0 lead. Liquid finally got on the board, thanks to a double AWP setup initiated by their In-game leader Jake “Stewie2k” Yip and Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo from where they managed to secure yet another round and trail by 2-13 in the first half.

The second half was inevitably won by the Ninjas as they comfortably held the opponents on their line of defense.

What’s next?

Ninjas In Pyjamas would now face the winner of Gambit Vs Mousesports in the Group A Upper Semi-Finals whereas Team Liquid has been relegated to Lower round 1 and now face elimination.

Global Esports Tournament Among Students: How University Perceives This?

The world of technology has advanced over the years as more people are coming up with unique tech things in different areas. Students get help with college papers online at essay writing services like CustomWritings.com, sports have turned to esports, conservative banking has been replaced by digital currency, and so on. Electronic sports are also known as e-sports, Esports, or eSports is where a tournament is held and people use video games to compete. Unlike the past years when video game tournaments were played by nonprofessionals, the organization of the tournaments has seen professional gamers joining in.

With the use of live streams during these competitions, the viewership has increased, and it has become very popular. Streaming is a very crucial part of experienced gamers. The salary of a gamer is time and again placed on how they perform. But, not all expert players can reach the top level of their particular domain. These tournaments have gone outside the house and have spread to pitches and stadia that have been filled with hundreds and thousands of enthusiastic supporters. Several game creators aggressively come up with designs for the competition and also fund the events.

People who are not familiar with eSport will probably not comprehend the advantages of such a project.

Benefits of introducing esport in College

Listed down below are just some benefits of starting eSport in colleges:

  • Old-fashioned sports games saw players being discriminated against based on their physical characteristics, and sex or compelled students to qualify for the team to play. But eSport is open to anyone who wants to participate or improve their skills with competitors with equal capabilities. This brings the sense of equality of opportunities, diversification, and integration.
  • The objectives of the game can only be achieved by collaboration and administration.
  • Esport can be the foundation of professions such as event managers, journalists, influencers, or proficient gaming icons.
  • It gives an exposure to students who do science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). They are shown the supporting technologies that steer their preferred games, motivating future peer groups of computer programmers, sound editors, software inventors. In the art section, they can learn about digital illustration, animation, music composition, and so on.
  • The graduation rates for students who play eSport are higher, they attend classes regularly, score high in math and reading, attentive in class and sharper, better-developed education objectives, are not prone to using drugs, and their confidence is boosted.
  • It is not only the players that are looked at in terms of jobs but also the people giving support to the players such as trainers, commentators, and casters. This will create additional job opportunities in esports.
  • Doing something you love and getting paid for it is what most people envision and esport offers this.

When it was just starting, there was a section in the library where students could practice. A lot of universities are now providing amenities for online video competitions. Taking part in such competitions can help students build their critical assessment skills, foster collaboration, and invention, and support self-controlled education. This was an observation made by Jeanne Weber, who is a senior higher education strategist at Dell Technologies.

One of the most important reasons why university directors are thinking of including eSport is student enrollment. In the future, more students will look at esport as a key metric when selecting a college. Todd Harris, president of eSport production company “Skillshot Media” noted that so far, 15 states acknowledge eSport as a senior school varsity game.

Scholarships

Finally, after years of playing video games till the wee hours of the morning can pay off! On top of it being fun and games, a video game enthusiast can now get a scholarship. Electronic sports scholarships are being offered by some universities and students are rewarded for playing.

Tespa, in 2017 Blizzard Entertainment’s university eSport department revealed its current project of providing scholarships and awards for university eSport fraternities contesting in its events. The amount set for this is one million US dollars. Columbia College, Robert Morris University, and Indiana Institute of Technology are some of the colleges that have participated in this program. Harrisburg University of Science and Technology started an education scholarship project for esport gamers in 2018.

The universities that offer eSport scholarships are:

  • Ashland University
  • Boise State University
  • Columbia college
  • Hawaii Pacific University
  • Kent State University
  • Miami University
  • Robert Morris University
  • Schreiner University
  • University of Akron
  • University of Pikeville
  • University of Utah
  • University of California-Berkeley
  • University of California-Irvine
  • Western Kentucky University
  • West Virginia Wesleyan College

Even though these scholarships have experienced huge growth recently, these scholarships started around 2014. Robert Morris University was the first university to give significant scholarships. Experienced players got scholarships that were equal to 50% tuition fee and 50% accommodation when they launched the eSport League of Legends team.

A lot of the gamers are men, despite the scholarships being co-ed. The National Association of Collegiate Esports has over 31 scholarship-funded. This was the first women’s university to fund a college team and give scholarships for women. The list permits up to 12 female video gamers. They get part scholarships.

What is In Store for the Future?

Pro leagues and tournaments are offering multi-million dollar incentives. The electronic sport includes different types of games across numerous gaming podiums. The enterprise is not about playing football and golf virtually. This has attracted many clients across the globe, allowing electronic sports teams, partnerships, and game originators to create worldwide groups and networks.

There is more to electronic sports than just gaming. People team up and work out a problem. This creates a powerful bond between players. More colleges are offering esports scholarships as a way of attracting students, and have dedicated places where they can play their video games.

Since this is mostly a male-dominated area, there are scholarships targeting females only to encourage women to participate. This can be the beginning of their different career as eSport in different fields such as influencer, event organizer, or even a professional big shot.

So next time you come across video game players, just know that they could just be playing and having fun and at the same time making money.

DOTA 2’s biggest tournament, The International, has faced multiple delays due to the ongoing pandemic. It was supposed to be held from August 18th to August 23, 2020, in Stockholm, Sweden but was delayed to August 5th – August 15th, 2021. However, earlier this year, Valve announced that their request to identify DOTA 2 Tournaments as an elite sport was denied by the Swedish Minister of the Interior, due to which it would be difficult to obtain a visa for the participating teams. Valve further assured all fans and players that “[they are] committed to hosting The International this year in a way that is both safe for all involved, and properly celebrates the players and fans of DOTA 2.”

On Wednesday, Valve revealed a new venue for The International which will now be held in Bucharest, Romania in Arena Nationala which has the capacity to host 55,634 spectators at once. S8UL Esports announces BGMI Roster: Team SouL

Soul Esports is back in the business after the launch of BGMI as they announce their new roster. This team dominated the competitive scene back in 2019 and consistently won all the tournaments in that year. They are back yet again with a star-studded roster and the new additions to the team are game changers for the organization.

Soul Esports has revealed their BGMI roster, which is powered by S8UL Esports and this is one of the most anticipated announcements in the PUBG Mobile community. Soul has brought two new stars onboard; Scout and Mavi. This dynamic duo makes a great addition to this roster by increasing their firepower and strategic prowess.

The new Team Soul will feature the fan favourite player, Mortal, alongside his old teammates Viper and Regaltos. This trio will be joined by Scout and Mavi in hopes to win all the upcoming tournaments in BGMI esports circuit. The first official tournament played by this new roster will be BGMI Launch Party this weekend.

Each and every player on this list has a bag full of accomplishments and their individual mechanics make them one of the best players in India. The aggressive department got a huge boost with the addition of Scout, who tends to play aggressive and take early leads for his team.

Scout is joined by Mavi, who has produced incredible results in Orange Rock as their in-game leader and might do the same in Team Soul. Scout and Mavi were inches close to becoming world champions at PMWL with their old squad but missed by a few points. They will look to accomplish the same thing with Team Soul now.

Mortal is inarguably one of the most beloved personalities from the community and boast a huge fan following. He has led the charge for Team Soul for several occasions and has earnt them a loyal fanbase, apart from the consistent results. This new roster is bound to make some massive impact on the competitive BGMI community and its tournaments.

The announcement of BGMI has brought in several changes in the ecosystem. Big organizations in India have hired different players and international players are looking to reform their own teams as well. We might see different teams rising to the top in this new game.

IEM Cologne 2021: Heroic player tests positive for COVID, to compete from hotel

0

In what comes not as a shocker, one of Heroic’s players has been tested positive for COVID-19. The tests were done as per ESL’s covid protocol, which forces players to quarantine for 72-hours, get tested, and then be able to play if found negative. The player has not been named to ‘protect the privacy’ as told to ESL by the Heroic management.

According to ESL, no one from their team or staff or other competitive teams has come into contact with Heroic, making the contact tracing easier for the management. As for the COVID protocol followed by ESL, players have to follow a set rule of a 72 hours quarantine.

The good thing about this is though playing from their hotel room, the players will be on the same LAN network, making the latency balanced for both the teams competing.
