Virtus.pro, Entropiq Qualify for PGL Major; Gambit Confirm Legends Status

With the conclusion of the Group Stage of the IEM Fall RMR event, the teams from the CIS region that will be making it to the PGL Stockholm Major are confirmed. Group winners NaVi and Gambit were already confirmed to be playing at the Major, but after the Groups, they ensure they will be going to the Stockholm Major as Legends.

From Group A, Team Spirit too had qualified and after winning the tie-breaker, Entropiq too confirmed their Contender spot at the Major.

In Group B, Virtus. pro fought tooth and nail with K23 and emerged victorious at the end of things at the end of the 3-way tiebreaker. They finished in the top 2 in Group B, above INDE IRAE and placing above K23 meant they will be going to the Major ahead of them. They were in hot water before the event but a good performance here sees them through to the Major.

Whether they will take the Challenger Spot or the Contender one, remains to be seen as Team Spirit are also in contention for the spots and whoever places higher at the end of IEM Fall will confirm a Challenger spot.

The Group Stage hence decides all the slots from the CIS region for the Major in Stockholm. Renegades too had confirmed their qualification earlier yesterday, making it a total of 6 teams confirmed for the Major.

  • Natus Vincere – Legends
  • Gambit – Legends
  • Virtus.pro – Challenger/Contenders
  • Team Spirit – Challenger/Contenders
  • Entropiq – Contenders
  • Renegades – Contenders

Ocean Sharma, the popular esports caster and content creator, has parted ways with Orange Rock Esports. A post shared by OREsports (@oresportsofficial)

Orange Rock esports and Ocean Sharma have been together for more than a year and he was signed as a content creator by this organization. Ocean Sharma has always been proactive in the PUBG Mobile community and his analytical skills caught an eye of officials as well as viewers.

Ocean Sharma and his skills to highlight key points during the matches landed him on the caster as well as analyst desk on several occasions before PUBG Mobile was banned in India. Orange Rock brought him under their wing and he started boasting the Orange emblem on his back during several official tournaments.

His content creation career kickstarted on YouTube after he uploaded clips of his gameplay but then, Ocean transitioned into a new form of content which focused on the analytical side of the game. He focused on the technicalities which led to a big play and this skill gained him an irreplaceable position.

He was a part of some Orange Rock interview videos as well as their other series as a host. After PUBG Mobile was banned, Ocean transitioned into Valorant casting and has been featured in several Nodwin Gaming tournaments as a caster.

This departure has left Ocean Sharma as a free agent in the community and we might see some other organization signing him in their talent roster.

Free Fire Redeem Codes for Today: 2 October 2021

Free Fire is a popular battle royale game and enjoys a large player base around the world. Part of this success is due to their attractive range of skins and customization options. Players can fully customize their own character by buying skins but they come for a hefty price. Those who are looking for alternatives for earning some freebies can use redeem codes.

Free Fire redeem codes are basically special codes which can be directly used on their reward redemption site to get free items and skins. Most of these items are time limited but sometimes, the developers tend to release permanent items via redeem codes as well.

Far Cry 6 Pre Download Date, Availability, And File Size

0

Ubisoft’s latest sequel to the Far Cry series — Far Cry 6 is just days away from its official release on 7th October. The game is currently available to pre-order on all platforms and comes with special pre-order bonuses including skin for Chorizo (Doggo) and Disc Launcher. Those who pre-order the game can also pre-load the game and play the game as soon as it launches.

With just 5 days left from the launch, Ubisoft has revealed dates for pre-load availability per platform.

Far Cry 6 Pre Download Date Per Platform

As per the information available, Far Cry 6 is available for pre-load on Xbox platform consoles right now. Once you purchase the game from the Xbox store the pre-load option will be available and the game will pre-load the required files automatically. While for those on Playstation have to wait for some more days as the game will be officially available for pre-load for them on October 5th.

Although no dates have been announced for the availability of pre-load on PC, we believe the game will be available for pre-loading at the same time Playstation i.e. 5th October. Since the game is only available on the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store this time around we can’t readily see the pre-load date as we can see on Steam.

Of course, pre-loading the game before the release date doesn’t mean that you can play it before release. You still need to wait until 7th October to play the game on your preferred platform. Also, the game will be available on Google Stadia on 7th October.

Far Cry 6 Pre-load Size

As per some sources, the pre-load download size of the game is between 38GB upto 54GB for consoles depending on the generation of the console. Older generation consoles will have a file size of 38.95GB and the file size for next-generation consoles will be greater depending upon the platform of choice starting from 42GB to upto 54GB.

For PC users, the file size is definitely larger than that of consoles. The game requires atleast 60GB space for the base version with an additional 37GB required for the HD textures pack needed to play on 1440p or higher resolutions. Ubisoft also recommends installing the game on an SSD to have better load times. Check out the PC system requirements here.

Wild Rift Patch Notes 2.4D – Blitzcrank, Thresh, and Senna adjusted

Riot Games has released the next patch notes 2.4D for the League of Legends: Wild Rift. This is the finals balance patch of the 2.4 cycles with some adjustments coming for champions such as Blitzcrank, Thresh, and Senna. It will be the final patch note in the 2.4 updates. Read our complete article to know the detailed changes in the new Wild Rift update.

CHAMPION CHANGES

BLITZCRANK

While other tank supports have seen wins from the 2.4c buffs to Zeke’s Convergence, Blitzcrank is still performing below expectations, particularly for skilled players. We are reducing the cost and increasing the power of Blitzcrank’s mobility tool to give skilled robot pilots more room to work with.

  • OVERDRIVE
    • Mana: 75 → 50
    • Movement speed bonus: 70/75/80/85% → 75/80/85/90%

DR. MUNDO

Mundo has been particularly dominant in the jungle, so we’re slowing his clear speed and the health regen he gains from (Ult) Sadism. We’re also increasing his health regen per level to ensure he remains a solid pick in the Baron Lane.

  • BASE STATS
    • Health regen per level: 0.81 → 1.07
      • Health regen at level 15: 21 → 24
  • INFECTED CLEAVER
    • Maximum damage vs monsters: 270/330/390/450 → 125/200/275/350
  • SADISM
    • Total health regen: 60/85/110% → 50/75/100%

SENNA

Senna currently outshines other marksman champions in Elite level play due to her powerful scaling with Mist stacks. To bring her in line with other marksmen, we are reducing the rate that Mist Wraiths spawn when Senna kills a minion.

  • ABSOLUTION
    • Mist Wraith spawn rate on minion kills: 7% → 3%

THRESH

We’ve been cautiously buffing Thresh over time due to his high-skillcap gameplay, but he is still performing below our expectations. We are giving him a bit more reason to care about collecting souls with some extra basic attack damage.

  • FLAY
    • (Passive) Bonus basic attack damage granted per soul: 1 → 2

XAYAH

It’s been a struggle for Xayah on recent patches, particularly with changes to the Dragon Lane metagame and nerfs to her synergy with Rakan. We’re giving her some additional AD per level in order to bolster her damage throughout the game, particularly later on where she should have more success.

  • BASE STATS
    • Attack Damage per level: 2.65 → 3.6
      • Attack Damage at level 15: 102 → 115

ZED

Zed is overperforming, even when he doesn’t land his shurikens. We’re cutting down on his consistent damage in order to make Zed’s success more about landing the right spells at the right time.

  • SHADOW SLASH
    • Base damage: 70/105/140/175 → 70/100/130/160
    • Bonus AD ratio: 80% → 70%

FREE-TO-PLAY CHAMPION ROTATION

Sep 30 – Oct 6: Diana, Evelynn, Gragas, Irelia, Kai’Sa, Katarina, Kennen, Rakan, Thresh, Tristana

Oct 7 – Oct 13: Alistar, Aurelion Sol, Braum, Darius, Ezreal, Fiora, Graves, Jhin, Seraphine, Shyvana

xQc is considering a move back to Los Angeles

0

Following the “Shitcamp” in LA has got xQc to consider a move back to USA, where he once lived.

According to xQc, the “Shitcamp” with his fellow streamers gave him a taste of the energy that he missed in Canada, where he is originally from, and went back following his breakup. During his stay in Dallas, xQc’s house was swatted and falsely reported on multiple occasions which made peaceful living a dream.

The “Shitcamp” had xQc participate in a bunch of activities with the likes of Ludwig and many more which made him consider a move back to LA. Even though he thinks of this as a “honeymoon phase,” but also he “actually really enjoyed LA” and might “want to give it another try.” He loved the “energy of the city” and that it was “actually a lot of fun.”

“Maybe I’m in my highschool phase, but it just feels like whenever you’re out, you’re at the place where you should be for some reason.” says xQc.

LA is a city that makes a place in one’s heart when they visit it and having lived close to it for a long time, no wonder the thought of moving back crossed the mind of the former Overwatch pro.

Moving back might have a few perks of its own, LA in general, holds a lot of content for xQc that Canada can’t provide. With many streamers living close to him, collaborations can be much easier. LA is also known to house celebrities and xQc is no less.
