WILD PASS

01182022_PatchNotes300Article_WRPatchNotes3.0_HexGalio.jpg

We wanted this Wild Pass to pack a punch and blow everyone away. We thought the best way to do that would be with some sort of heroic gesture or maybe even a grand entrance. Thankfully the Winds of War gave us a hand with that, and have blown Hexplorer Galio right into this Wild Pass! He’ll be your reward for completing it, and there are plenty of other rewards along the way we hope you’ll be a fan of too.

Wind will this Wild Pass be available? Wild Pass will be available on Jan 19 at 00:01 UTC.

CHAMPION CHANGES

DR. MUNDO

The Madman of Zaun has been loose on the Rift, tearing through his opponents in the Baron Lane left and right. While we still want Dr. Mundo to go where he pleases, he’s a bit too resilient to poke and winning some fights he shouldn’t, so we are dialing his madness back just a tad.

  • BASE STATS
    • Base health regeneration12 → 9
    • Health regeneration per level: 0.81 → 0.68

EZREAL

Ezreal’s damage has been lacking a bit. We want him to shift his way back into that premier caster marksman spot, so we’re giving him some more damage on his Mystic Shot.

  • MYSTIC SHOT
    • AD ratio: 110% → 120%

JAX

Jax has been dominating the jungle in highly skilled games. To combat this, we are scaling his passive differently to slow down his clear speed, while giving him some extra health regeneration to help his solo laning.

  • BASE STATS
    • Base health regeneration: 9 → 12
    • Health regeneration growth: 0.55 → 0.81
  • RELENTLESS ASSAULT
    • Attack Speed per stack: 2.4%+ level × 0.6% → 3/5.5/8/10.5% (at levels 1/5/9/13)

KAYLE

While we want Kayle to outs-kayle her opponents, she’s still just a bit too strong in the late game. We want her to be a bit more vulnerable to burst later on, so we’re bringing down her scaling durability as well as some of her damage.

  • BASE STATS
    • Health per level: 105 → 95
  • DIVINE ASCENT
    • Wave damage: 15/20/25/30 + 20% AP → 12/16/20/24 + 15% AP
  • STARFIRE SPELLBLADE
    • Passive damage: 15/20/25/30 + 20% AP → 12/16/20/24 + 15% AP

MISS FORTUNE

Miss Fortune has strutted a bit over the top with recent buffs, so we’re pulling back on some of the power we gave her back when she was underperforming.

  • STRUT
    • Bonus movement speed gained over time: 45/55/65/75 → 35/45/55/65
    • Total bonus movement speed: 70/80/90/100 → 60/70/80/90

MORGANA

We’re continuing to monitor this sinister sister after some recent bugfixes. In the meantime, we’re going to help speed up her jungle clears for players looking for a new AP option.

  • DARK BINDING
    • [BUGFIX] Fixed a bug where the root duration of Dark Binding was not reduced by tenacity.
  • TORMENTED SHADOW
    • Damage to monsters: 150% → 200%

RIVEN

Riven has been struggling everywhere except for in the highest levels of play. We are cautiously giving her some leeway so she’s not exiled from the laning phase after a trade gone wrong.

  • BASE STATS
    • Base health regeneration: 7.5 → 9
    • Health regeneration per level: 0.55 → 0.68

TRYNDAMERE

Despite recent nerfs, Tryndamere is still one of the most dominant junglers across all skill levels. To reduce his clear speed and overall mobility in the jungle, we’re removing the cooldown reduction that Tryndamere gains toward Spinning Slash when landing critical strikes against monsters.

  • SPINNING SLASH
    • Critical strikes reduce the cooldown of Spinning Slash by 1s, doubled against champions → Critical strikes against minions reduce the cooldown of Spinning Slash by 1s, doubled against champions

GAMEPLAY CHANGES

ITEMS

EDGE OF NIGHT

Edge of Night is a powerful item in situations where it should be strong, but it’s also just a good early game item for many champions. We’re increasing its total cost to require a little more farming if you want to pick it up as a first or second item.

  • Combine cost: 800 → 950
    • Total cost: 3000 → 3150

ESSENCE REAVER

Lately, Essence Reaver has been falling a bit flat. Most of the time it is only slightly better than other options, even for the champions that should be highly invested in the stats and unique effects that it grants them. We are going to give it some extra power to make it a more compelling option in a wider variety of scenarios.

  • Attack Damage: 40 → 45
  • Mana restore per attack: 2% missing mana → 3% missing mana

HEXTECH MEGADRIVE

Hextech Megadrive is not offering as much cooldown refund for enchanters as we’d like, so we’re reducing the cooldown on the refund to allow more access to this mechanic for support champions with cooldown heals and shields.

(P) Tinker

  • Refund cooldown for heals and shields: 5s → 3s

RUNE CHANGES

DOMINATION: BRUTAL

Brutal has been well… dominating the Domination tree lately. The rune offers one of the best early game benefits, as well as a lot of mid to late game power with its bonus magic and armor penetration. To combat its dominating presence, we are removing a bit of that mid to late game power that it provides.

  • 7 bonus attack damage and 2% bonus armor penetration, or 14 ability power and 2% bonus magic penetration (adaptive) → Gain 7 bonus attack damage or 14 ability power (adaptive)

JUNGLE

JUNGLE MONSTERS

Ever get tilted that you missed a smite because Baron leveled up in the middle of combat? Us too. We’re fixing it.

  • Monsters that level up in combat no longer gain current health from the level up

Counter Strike: Evil Geniuses sign Stewie2K

The smoke criminal joins Evil Geniuses after a brief tenure with Team Liquid and may reunite with his former teammates from Cloud9.

Evil Geniuses have signed Jake “Stewie2K” Yip to their active CS:GO division, the North American organization announced today on Twitter. The 24 year-old will take the reigns of an IGL on his new team as the roster is further expected to be rounded off by Timothy “autimatic” Ta and William “RUSH” Weirzba.

The 2021 iteration of Evil Geniuses indeed hit the slump as the Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz led side were unable to bag at least a single tournament across the said period where they seemed to have entered a downward spiral filled with roster changes and change in roles. Despite several European outings, Evil Geniuses barely kept up with their rhythm from their previous form which indeed led the team to part ways with Tarik “Tarik” Celik and add Michał “MICHU” Müller.

Soon after an early exit from the PGL CS:GO Stockholm Major, EG were poised to revamp their roster going forward as they let stanislaw, MICHU, Owen “oBo” Schlatter, and Damian “daps” Steele explore their future options while they decided to sign Damien “maLeK” Marcel from G2 Esports to lead the team’s emphasis.

According to a recent report by TalkEsport and 1pv.fr, Evil Geniuses are rumored to sign RUSH and autimatic from the former’s free agency and T1 respectively, nearly giving us a glimpse of the old major winning days under Cloud9 CS:GO although it’s been near to confirmed by Nicole LaPointe Jameson, CEO of EG who tweeted a series of not so baffling updates about the new EG roster which clearly hinted the arrival of autimatic and RUSH to EG’s Counter Strike lineup.

With the addition of Stewie2K, EG CS:GO are now:

  • Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
  • Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov
  • Jake “Stewie2K” Yip
  • Damien “maLeK” Marcel (Head coach)

Some Triple-A games that are now at a bargain price and that you should play if you haven’t already

0

Some Triple A’s have been very successful in recent years. So much so that if you love video games you have to play them yes or yes. More now that they are on sale. “Triple-A” is a basic concept in the world of video games.

With it, high-budget games are defined and that, generally, reap great success and reputation once they are released. These major projects have been with us for decades and it is nothing new, far from it.

In fact, although it sounds ridiculous now, Final Fantasy VII needed 50 million dollars to develop, a very high figure but that seems like a small change compared to the 265 million dollars that GTA V supposed, which at the time was the most expensive video game in the world history.

And although quantity does not always mean quality, in many cases it is. In recent years there have been many Triple A’s that have become cult video games, a must-play for video game lovers. But its exorbitant prices alienated many players.

Luckily, many of these titles are now on sale so that anyone can enjoy them on PS4 and Xbox One. Here is a list of four Triple A games that are now at a bargain price and that you should play if you haven’t already done.

Red Dead Redemption 2

We started strong with Red Dead Redemption 2, the long-awaited prequel to Red Dead Redemption for which we had to wait no more and no less than 8 years. But, in 2018, we finally got to test it. And if this is not your case, you are in luck because it is on sale. If you have Xbox One, you can get this fantastic Triple-A discount for 25 dollars. If you want it for PlayStation 4, the price remains at these 25 dollars, so you have it for the same price for both platforms.

In this Rockstar game, you’ll take on the role of Arthur Morgan, a veteran member of Dutch Van der Linde’s gang. The band is co-led by Hosea Matthews, star of Red Dead Redemption. You will travel through five fictional states of the United States in an adventure that we recommend you experience yourself, blindly.

Microsoft Flight Simulator

Who knew that a flight simulator would become a Triple-A with all the A’s? What was at first a meme became a whole new generation experience that you can now enjoy yourself or yourself thanks to Microsoft Game Pass, which costs you 30 dollars.

And it is that in Amazon you can subscribe for just 30 dollars to Xbox Game Pass and access the immense number of titles it offers, including this Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, which is included in Game Pass. Without a doubt, a very reasonable offer to play this and other renowned titles.

The Witcher Wild Hunt GOTY Edition

Another title that revolutionized the industry was The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It could be said that it was the game that catapulted CDPR to fame given its excellent representation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s original novels and different editions have come out, such as this GOTY edition.

You have it for PS4 for only 24 dollars, a more than affordable price to enjoy one of the most recognized Triple-A of the last decades. You can also get it discounted for Xbox One, although here the price rises to 32 dollars.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

We continue with a title that has ancient Greece as a backdrop. We are talking about Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, one of the installments of this famous assassin saga that has been the most successful in recent years due to the twist that Ubisoft included, moving away from the traditional mechanics of the saga. You have the game for only 27 dollars in Mediamarkt for PlayStation 4, a very attractive price. If you want it for Xbox One, you will have to go to another page and pay more: 40 dollars.

Although it is still an affordable price for this Triple-A. Want to know more about other AAA games? Just visit Gamivo!

CSGO: Evil Geniuses sign autimatic

The Boston Major winner joins the ranks of Evil Geniuses, reuniting with his former teammate from Cloud9, Jake “Stewie2K” Yip.

Evil Geniuses have signed Timothy “autimatic” Ta to their active CS:GO division, the North American organization announced today on their Twitter handle. This roster move does finally clear the air, previously filled with a plethora of reports leading to the 25 year-old’s fate after he was released from T1 Valorant earlier in January.

After calling quits on Counter Strike back in February 2021, autimatic has made a return to compete back professionally in Valve’s first person shooter, this time under the banner of Evil Geniuses alongside Stewie2K, Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte and Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov, mentored by ex-G2 Esports coach Damien “maLeK” Marcel.

Before signing up for Evil Geniuses CS:GO, autimatic spent almost a year at T1 Valorant only to step down from the roster towards the start of 2022. Before making the switch, the Boston major winner’s conquest for the glory started with Cloud9 when he joined the latter from Complexity and went on to win the said ELEAGUE Major trophy at Boston while he represented the Los Angeles based organization for three years. After being traded off to Gen.G along with Damian “Daps” Steele and Kenneth “Koosta” Suen, the Korean-American side triumphed at DreamHack Open Anaheim but were soon forced to transfer list the roster due to the difficulties impeded by the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Recent reports from 1pv.fr and TalkEsport do suggest Evil Geniuses looking to round out their roster with yet another familiar face from the Cloud9 iteration, William “RUSH” Wierzba who is yet to be unveiled although his addition to the roster has already been teased by the team’s CEO, Nicole LaPointe Jameson.

PGL Stockholm Capsules Removed from CSGO in New Update

0

Valve shipped a new update for CSGO, highlighting the addition of experimental Vulkan Support to the game. This can be tested out by the new users by entering ‘-vulkan’ in the Launch options upon startup. There were a set of User Interface and Steam Input changes as well.

But behind all of these updates, one thing was also removed from the game that wasn’t highlighted in the Release Notes of the New CSGO update.

Valve removed all the items from the PGL Stockholm Major 2021 that could be bought from the in-game tab. Players only found out about this once the game was restarted after the update and the Stockholm 2021 tab was missing from the Main Menu.

Originally, PGL Stockholm items were expected to stay in the in-game store until December 20, 2021 as the Souvenir Tokens could only be redeemed until that date according to the description. But the Signature Capsules from the Top 8 teams, the Contender, Challenger and Legend sticker capsules were put on sale much longer than december 20th and could be bought until last night’s update.

The only things available in the in-game store are items from Operation Riptide and other items that could be brought previously. Stockholm 2021 items have now been removed from CSGO, souvenir packages and sticker capsules included.

The removal resulted in a slight jump in price of Sticker capsules as well as Souvenir packages on the steam market.

As reported earlier by our team, Godlike Esports will be traveling to Dubai for PMGC 2021 Grand finals. Due to the unavailability of passports by at least two players from Skylightz Gaming, TSM, and Team XO. Although it is a sheer case of mismanagement but the discussion is for another day.

The information was further confirmed by Ocean Sharma, the esports caster and analysts. Where he confirmed that the slot has been given to Godlike Esports.

According to the report from Gamexnews. It has been stated that Esports XO, the team that finished at the 3rd spot in the BGIS 2021 Grand finals is in talks with the officials over the spot in the PMGC 2021. And there have been no slots confirmed from India.

As there has been no official statement released on the team that will be traveling for the global event. We need to wait to get the team name that will be traveling for the event.

Another video surfaced featuring Ocean Sharma. Where he talked about, the slot has not been confirmed by any team and the announcement will be made through the official Battlegrounds Mobile India social media accounts.

To us, whether it is Godlike Esports or Team XO. We want to see the Indian team lifting the trophy and our country proud.
