Dust2 Removed From CSGO’s Map Pool

Anubis has replaced Dust 2, the most famous map in Counter Strike and FPS, from the active map pool of CS:GO.

Anubis and Dust 2 can still be played in casual, deathmatch and competitive modes. However, Dust 2 has been removed from the active pool so that it cannot be played at the professional level. Anyone looking for Dust 2 in the active pool will not be able find it.

This change occurs shortly after the conclusion to the IEM Rio Major. Outsiders won it. The active maps will be affected by the changes. This means that Dust 2 won’t be played at the next major. Anubis will. The Major is only a few months away, and Anubis is the first time Anubis was added to the pro map pool, so there is a high likelihood that not many teams will be able to play the map. Instead, they will ban it from most games.

Although Dust 2 is a classic map in FPS history it has seen some changes in and CS:GO over the years. It will remain the preferred map for casual players, but it is becoming less popular at the highest level. Even the redesign of a few years back didn’t change this.

Although there is not word yet on whether Dust 2 will undergo a rework, recent rumours suggest that Mirage and Dust 2 will both be subject to reworks as Source 2 switches to Source 2. It’s possible that it won’t happen, even though players have waited for this change for years.

Valve also reduced the number of bullets in its AWP sniper rifle from seven to five. This will have a significant impact on how the weapon can be used in certain situations. The M4A1S-S has been reduced in damage at close range. This is a result of it becoming the CT weapon choice in recent months.

Valorant India Invitational marred with Delays and Poor Management

0

At the time this article was being written, there was a significant delay with regard to the scheduling of the eight games that were scheduled to take place today.

At the moment, the GMR Arena in Hyderabad, India is playing host to the Valorant India Invitational, and things have not gotten off to a promising beginning there. With a $100,000 prize pool and six international teams, the event was intended to be the biggest in India, but things haven’t gone as planned.

Multiple Valorant India players have criticized the organizers for missing the deadline. The players have been kept waiting for a considerable amount of time, while the games themselves are running behind schedule because of the delays.

In the span of the past five hours, only one of the eight games has been played.

Rahul “Emi” Hinduja of Global Esports said that one of the eight games scheduled for today had started as of 3:35 PM IST.

Gary Ongko, the founder of BOOM Esports, stated that a delay of four hours is never something that looks good. Some games have been moved to later in the night, and Ongko said he wouldn’t let his team play at 2 AM.

Yamyam Villanueva Yui, one of Team Secret’s managers, said she’d been waiting for the match since 10 AM IST and that organizers kept delaying it for 30 minutes, so the teams waited for hours.

The fact that the tournament organizers have not made adequate preparations for the participation of so many international teams is not a good image. Given the event’s prize fund, players and teams shouldn’t have had such a horrible experience.

In light of the recent happenings, even the seating conditions seem to be locally managed and look sketchy. It’s really disappointing to see a tournament of such a high caliber meet this kind of fate.

Constant delays, as mentioned by Yamyam Villanueva Yui, one of Team Secret’s Managers were reported which further flattens the entire hype created around the Valorant India Invitational.

Dota 2 Razor Arcana: All You Need To Know

The Razor arcana has finally been shipped into the game which was previously introduced at the start of The International 2022 Battle Pass.

The second arcana of the Diretide Battle Pass has been made available to Dota 2 players at long last. Razor’s whip gets transformed into a sword and shield that mimics his Warcraft 3 model in Voidstorm Asylum.

Additionally, the new arcana comes with an unlockable enhanced style that, if activated, brings about a hue shift that is completely unexpected.

As the fourth top-tier cosmetic item in the Battle Pass, this release also marks the end of the Battle Pass content for Diretide. It is only possible to obtain access to the Voidstorm Asylum by purchasing the Diretide 2022 Battle Pass at level 383.

Razor’s appearance is completely altered by the Voidstorm Asylum arcana, which transforms him into a swirling tornado encased in elegant armor. He replaces his trademark electric whip with a chain sword that has a blade that can be extended to strike the target.

Some subtle bubble effects and a plethora of new particles have been added to Plasma Field. Razor’s Eye of the Storm ultimate strikes enemies with lightning from his shield. In addition, the Phase Boots, Eul’s Scepter, and Wind Waker each receive their own unique icons for his inventory.

Like the Faceless Void arcana from the same Battle Pass, this new Razor skin resembles his Dota 1 Warcraft 3 model. The Lightning Revenant unit, which represented Razor in Dota’s custom game mode, was equipped with a sword, a shield, and electric capabilities in addition to those abilities.

Although it’s possible that Valve is trying to win over the older generation of Dota 2 fans with these arcanas, newer players will still find a lot to like about them.

How to further upgrade your Razor Arcana

New Razor Arcana Voidstorm Asylum includes an unlockable seafoam green style. Unlocking this style will tint Razor’s new wind body a mellow green, a color not typically associated with him.

Patinas of copper form on his armor and weaponry, and he dons a cape of the same material. Even the most devoted Razor spammers will have a difficult time unlocking it, despite the fact that it is incredibly flashy.

There is also a second playable style that can be unlocked. This is what the official blog article from Valve says: “Destroy your enemies by turning their own strength against them. Kill 500 enemies while empowered by 100+ Static Link damage to unlock the Stormlord Reborn alternate style. Killing an enemy in Razor’s empowered state will grant one point, with a maximum of eight points available in a single match.”

Players must kill 500 enemy heroes while enhanced by more than 100 Static Link damage to unlock the second Razor arcana style.

Razor’s “Voidstorm Asylum” Arcana Bundle requires your Battle Pass upgraded to Level 383 to be unlocked. You can do this by playing games, doing Weekly Quests, or Cavern Crawl, but it will take a lot of grinding. You would be better off in this aspect if you just went ahead and purchased Battle Points directly.

The International 2022 Swag Bag doesn’t include the Razor Arcana. The reason for this is that it only includes Arcanas that can be purchased from the Dota 2 Store, and not those that can be unlocked by purchasing a Battle Pass.

After about three weeks of intense Dota action, The International 2022 has finally come to a conclusion. Following a flawless upper bracket run, Tundra Esports has reigned supreme as the champions of the biggest annual Dota 2 tournament. The org lost a total of four maps in the group stage and only one map in the main stage.

Harbor disabled in VALORANT Due To Game Breaking Bug

0

Riot Games disabled Agent Harbor from competitive Valorant queues due to an “unintentional” lag spike from his Reckoning ultimate.

Players can no longer lock Harbor in competitive games as of November 17. This occurs as a direct consequence of a problem that his Reckoning Ultimate introduced into the game. The ability’s huge visual effect could cause “unintentional lag spikes” when cast, Riot confirmed.

The one-of-a-kind ultimate effect that Harbor possesses makes use of the “whole strength” of his ability kit. When it does this, it creates a massive tidal fleet on the ground, which knocks out any opposing players that are trapped within its radius. Some players may have experienced choppy performance due to this visual cue as Valorant struggled to keep up with the action.

This isn’t the first time in the past few years that a matchmaker has been removed from the VALORANT matchmaking service. In 2020, players that utilized Omen discovered a bug that allowed them to traverse some walls.

Harbor Disabled In Valorant

https://twitter.com/PlayVALORANT/status/1593377545998594049?s=20&t=I0ZyerX12eJYXWn08fvZiQ

As a consequence of this, you will still need to exercise extreme caution if you load in against an adversary Harbor while playing in any of those modes before a solution is implemented.

Specifically, he was able to get through certain doors. After discovering this flaw, the Riot developers took immediate action and pulled him from the game until they could ensure his proper functioning.

The Agent has been removed from the competitive pool while the developers work on a fix. However, you would be able to play Harbor in other game modes like Deathmatch, Spike Rush, Escalation, and Replication.

Riot addressed the issue right after the bug surfaced on and over the internet which puts them in a position to come up with a quick fix. It is possible that it will just be a matter of hours before Harbor is placed back into the queue, but it is also possible that it will take a few days if the problem is more complicated than was initially anticipated.

For more coverage on Harbor and his return to Valorant’s competitive queue, make sure to follow TalkEsport on Google News.
