If you’re an avid fan of the competitive North American Counter-Strike scene, you’re probably familiar with light-hearted humor between the pros amid games.
Yesterday’s match in the group stages of Intel Extreme Masters between Liquid and team Mythic saw some hilarious moments unfold before the eyes of the viewers, and Jake “Stewie2K” Yip decided to share some more of it with the fans by posting the in-game chat logs through a Reddit post shortly afterward.
It can’t be denied that people didn’t expect Mythic to play up to team Liquid’s standards, and in fact, they didn’t. They got swept out 2-0 by Liquid with 16-3 and 16-6 defeats on Mirage and Inferno respectively.
But that didn’t hinder the sportsmanship of any of the players, as they continued to make silly jokes to lighten up the mood, and thanks to Stewie sharing it with us, we can now have a good laugh at it ourselves.
The Liquid lineup consisted of Stewie2K, EliGE, NAF, Twistzz, and Grim, while that of Mythic included adreN, fl0m, Davey, Polen, and Keiti.
