GTA 6 Extended Look is drawing fresh attention after Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick told fans to get a Netflix subscription before the presentation airs. What Strauss Zelnick Said About the Netflix Deal
Speaking to IGN, Zelnick encouraged fans to sign up for Netflix ahead of the reveal. “Well, as you’d imagine, I’m only going to say great things about Netflix,” he said. “If you’re not a Netflix subscriber, you definitely should be one. And as for the trailer itself, it’s coming soon enough that I’ll let you arrive at your own conclusion. I’m sure you’re going to watch it because everyone is.”
When asked why Rockstar chose Netflix for the reveal, Zelnick did not share specifics on the financial terms of the deal. He said Rockstar felt a Netflix release would be an effective way to showcase the extended trailer and described the move as part of the studio’s efforts to try new marketing approaches for the game.
