Gen.G sign s0m from Envy; SicK to stand in for IEM Katowice Qualifiers

Gen.G have announced the arrival of Sam ‘s0m’ Oh from Envy on a permanent transfer. s0m’s arrival is not the only announcement, Hunter ‘SicK’ Mims set to fill in as a stand-in for the North American Qualifiers for IEM Katowice, which is scheduled to take place on December 10 and 11, 2019.

s0m is the fourth player to be announced as a permanent addition to the Gen.G roster, joining Cloud9 trio Timothy ‘autimatic’ Ta, Kenneth ‘koosta’ Suen and Damian ‘daps’ Steele. The 17-year-old comes in from Envy after a nine-month stint with the North American organisation.

While Gen.G have stated the temporary addition of SicK, they also teased the announcement of the fifth member.

s0m’s transfer to Gen.G leaves Envy in a limbo, with the North American organisation now down to four players on the eve of the IEM Katowice Qualifiers.
