After parting ways with Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović, the North American Organization might bring Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit back on board, this time as the head coach.

According to a report from Ryan from Rushbmedia, the Colossus have lately been in talks with Gen.G to acquire Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit who would fill in the void left by Kassad, with whom the organization parted ways after his stylistic clash with Alex “ALEX” McMeekin, Cloud9’s current IGL. Though there had been no bad blood between the Serbian coach, players, and the organization, the decision was made on a mutual note.

Today, as reported by Rushbmedia, Elmapuddy who had been the assistant coach at Cloud9 alongside James “JamezIRL” Macaulay, might return to the North American side, this time as the head coach. He previously served 3 months at Cloud9 before being traded off to Gen.G with Damian “daps” Steele, Kenneth “koosta” Suen, and Timothy “autimatic” Ta. Under the South Korean banner, Chris steered the team to win the Dreamhack Open Anaheim 2020 and the ESL One: Road to Rio – North America.

In a comment, HenryG added,

“While nothing has been made official as of yet, it is no secret that we are in deep talks with Elmapuddy. He’s an absolutely fantastic coach and negotiations are going extremely well. I can’t wait to update you all later in the week.”

In addition to this, as earlier reported by 1pv.fr and TalkEsport, Cloud9 has moved close to bringing in Xeppaa as their sixth member.

With these potential roster moves on the horizon, Cloud9 will have these players:
