Sign-ups go through the link on PGL’s official announcement. PGL hasn’t published a final deadline in any public listing we found. For its PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 qualifiers, registration closed on the day each qualifier started. Teams shouldn’t assume the same window applies this time, so it’s safer to sign up early.

- Your full five-player roster, plus any substitute, is locked

- Your team can play both days of the qualifier you enter

Open Qualifier Format: Bo1 Until the Semi-Finals
Open Qualifier #1 is a single-elimination bracket. Every match up to and including the quarter-finals is best-of-one. The semi-finals and the final switch to best-of-three. One bad map ends your run early, and the series format only kicks in for the last four teams.
How Teams Reach PGL Bucharest 2027: The Full Qualification Path
Fourteen of the 16 spots go to teams invited through Valve’s VRS rankings, using the October 5, 2026 standings. The last two spots come from the European closed qualifier.

PGL Bucharest 2027 Prize Pool Distribution
The main prize pool is $1,000,000, split evenly between players ($500,000) and clubs ($500,000), according to HLTV. A separate $400,000 VRS invite bonus pool pays $80,000 each to the five highest VRS-ranked teams that accept their invite, as long as they sit inside the global top 14.

The main event opens with a Swiss stage of best-of-three matches. The playoffs are single elimination with best-of-three series and a best-of-five grand final.
PGL Bucharest 2027 is the first of PGL’s six Counter-Strike events in 2027. HLTV reported that it was first planned for Krakow, Poland, and moved after TAURON Arena cancelled the booking. It also overlaps with BLAST Bounty Season 1, which runs from January 11 to 24, 2027. That clash could affect which invited teams actually attend.
