MOUZ has confirmed that Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo is no longer under contract with the organization. The move ends a partnership that lasted more than four years and spanned both the team’s academy program and its main Counter-Strike 2 roster.
From MOUZ NXT to the Main Roster
Jimpphat joined MOUZ NXT in May 2022. He spent just over a year developing in the academy system before earning a promotion to the main squad in July 2023.
That path is fairly common in modern Counter-Strike, where organizations use academy teams to prepare young talent for top-tier competition. For Jimpphat, the system worked. He grew from an NXT prospect into a regular fixture on one of the sport’s most recognizable rosters.
The Road to the Bench
MOUZ benched Jimpphat in April 2026. The same shake-up also saw Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin removed from the starting five.
The changes came after a difficult start to the year for MOUZ. The team failed to reach finals or contend for trophies during the opening months of 2026, prompting the organization to rework its lineup.
Since then, Jimpphat has not featured on MOUZ’s active roster. His departure now makes that separation permanent.
