Week 2 of the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SHOWDOWN (BMSD) 2026 Qualifiers has concluded, completing another round of Promotion and Relegation matches. All three groups played six matches during the week, with Elite Nova Esports emerging as the highest-scoring team across Groups A, B and C with 79 points.
Elite Nova dominated Group B, while 8Bit retained the top position in Group A with 65 points and VJ finished first in Group C with 63. The week was also important for Team Soul, as the BGIS 2026 champions bounced back immediately after their Week 1 relegation and secured promotion back to Group A.
Elite Nova Esports Dominates Group B; Team Soul Returns to Group A
Group B produced some of the strongest performances of Week 2. Elite Nova Esports finished first with 79 points, recording three WWCDs, including three consecutive victories to close out its matches. RNTX finished just behind with 72 points and also secured three WWCDs during the week.
TAg* finished third with 57 points, followed by GENESIS Esports with 47 and Team Tamilas with 46. Team Soul finished sixth with 38 points, which was enough to secure one of the eight promotion spots to Group A.
It was an important recovery for Soul after the BGIS 2026 champions were relegated from Group A following Week 1. Instead of spending another week in Group B, Soul secured an immediate return to the top group and remains in contention heading into the final week of the Qualifiers.

8Bit Retains Top Spot in Group A
8Bit finished Week 2 at the top of Group A with 65 points, but GDR remained close behind with 63 points. MAD took third place with 48 points.
GodLike Esports finished fourth with 46 points, followed by NINZ with 45 and 7GDS with 44. With only two points separating 8Bit and GDR at the top, Group A remained closely contested throughout the week.
VJ Tops Group C With 63 Points
In Group C, VJ claimed first place with 63 points, followed closely by IRIS with 60. HBSN finished third with 54 points, while TKM took fourth with 53.
Team AX finished fifth with 48 points, while CLZA completed the top six with 42 points.

GDRxJUSTIN Leads BMSD 2026 Eliminator Leaderboard
Alongside the team standings, individual performances continued to play an important role in Week 2. GDRxJUSTIN remains at the top of the Eliminator leaderboard with 32 finishes and 6,680 damage.
CXzSazwarx06 is second with 27 finishes and 4,585 damage. iQOO 8bitSaRang follows with 26 finishes, 4,700 damage and a leaderboard-high 13 assists among the listed top five players.

What’s Next in BMSD 2026?
With Week 2 completed, the Promotion and Relegation movement is locked ahead of the final week of the BMSD 2026 Qualifiers. Performances in the final week will become crucial as teams fight for favourable positions in the next stages of the tournament.
BMSD 2026 features 48 invited BGMI teams competing for a ₹1 crore prize pool. The tournament also carries international importance, with the top six teams earning a pathway to BMIC 2026.
The tournament will eventually head to Hyderabad for the BMSD 2026 LAN Grand Finals from October 16 to 18. Matches are being broadcast live daily from 1:00 PM IST on the KRAFTON India Esports YouTube channel.
