Some of the biggest teams in Indian BGMI esports will play on BGMI Showdown 2026 Day 1, including GodLike Esports, Team Soul, Apex Gaming, Orangutan, Gladiators Esports, Nebula Esports, Genesis Esports, and Revenant XSpark. The tournament has a ₹1 crore prize pool, while the eventual BMSD 2026 champion will also earn a direct slot at PMGC 2026.

BMSD 2026 Day 1 Schedule, Timings and Maps
BMSD 2026 Day 1 will take place on September 22, 2026. Six matches are scheduled for the opening day, with the first match beginning at 2:00 PM IST.
Group A will play the first three matches of the day, while Group B will enter the lobby for the final three games.

The first match is scheduled for 2:00 PM IST on September 22. Fans should note that broadcast coverage may begin before the first match itself.
BMSD 2026 is an offline tournament taking place at Savaaya Convention in Hyderabad and will run from September 22 to October 18.
BMSD 2026 Qualifiers Format Explained
The BMSD 2026 Qualifiers will run from September 22 to September 30. A total of 48 invited teams have been divided into three groups of 16 teams each.
The Qualifiers are divided into three weeks, with three matchdays in each week. Every team will play six matches per week and 18 matches in total.
However, the biggest difference compared to a normal group stage is the promotion and relegation system.
After Week 1, the top eight teams from Group B will move to Group A, while the bottom eight from Group A will drop to Group B. At the same time, the top eight from Group C will move to Group B, while Group B’s bottom eight will fall to Group C.
The same process will happen again after Week 2. Therefore, the current Groups A, B, and C are only the starting groups and can change depending on the results.
Week 3 will then become the most important part of the Qualifiers because the final group positions will determine where each team goes next.
The top four teams from Group A will directly qualify for the BMSD 2026 Grand Finals. Group A teams finishing fifth to 12th and Group B’s top four will reach the Semi Finals.
Other teams will have to continue through the Upper or Lower Bracket Survival stages, while the bottom eight teams of Group C will be eliminated after the Qualifiers.
Day 1 might only be the beginning of a long tournament, but the promotion-relegation system makes every match important. For teams in Group A, a poor opening week could send them down to Group B, while Group B teams have an immediate opportunity to fight their way into the top group.
