Krafton India Esports has officially set a new benchmark in Indian esports by elevating the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2025 – BMPS 2025 prize pool to a record-breaking ₹4 crore, the highest Indian esports industry has ever seen. This milestone represents a 100% increase from the previous BMPS editions. Furthermore, it also surpasses the recent BGIS 2025’s ₹3.2 crore prize pool.
Discovery Island Boosts BMPS 2025 Prize Pool to ₹4 Crore
From 17th May to 1st July, 2025, Krafton India launched the “Discovery Island” event in BGMI. This event empowered the BGMI community to directly contribute to the prize pool growth.
Players earned Exploration Points simply by playing Classic Mode matches across Erangel, Sanhok, Miramar, and other maps. These points contributed to six collective milestones that can boosted the prize pool from the base ₹2 crore to the maximum ₹4 crore target. Additionally, participants unlocked up to 30 exclusive in-game rewards, including a permanent BGMI Esports Outfit.
