Sony Pictures India will broadcast PUBG Mobile, and other titles from Asian Games 2022

Sony Pictures Networks India has bagged exclusive rights to broadcast Asian Games 2022 which is scheduled to take place later this year in Hangzhou, China. They will have the right to broadcast the games across its sports channels in India and the subcontinent including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan, and the Maldives, and live stream SonyLIV through Sept. 2023.

It is a 23-month long deal from November 2021 to September 2023 that will give Sony Network India the exclusive rights to produce clips and highlights. The 2022 Asian Games will take place from September 10 to September 25, 2022, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. The event will feature 40 sports with a total of 61 disciplines, including Olympic sports like swimming, archery, athletics, badminton, equestrian, fencing, football, hockey, judo, kabaddi, and much more.

The 2022 Asian Games will also feature video games as the medal event. A total of 8 esports events will be played featuring games

With the inclusion of various esports titles, fans all around the Asian region will be able to watch their favorite pro players compete live in the 2022 Asian Games.
