Since the announcement of an association between Krafton and Microsoft, rumours of an Indian version have been afloat and the same were subsequently confirmed by PUBG Mobile.
Several Indian PUBG Mobile professionals and influencers have hinted at the release being very close, with an application appearing on the Play Store for a few moments before disappearing.

The hype created is deserved, with how popular the game was before the ban issued by the Government Body. The trend just validates the hype and it will be intriguing to see what new records will be broken in the gaming, esports and mobile applications industry once it officially returns.
