After a long period of waiting from Call of Duty players worldwide, the highly anticipated CX-9 SMG has finally been added to COD Warzone and Modern Warfare.
Previously, it was available for a short while in the battle royale before eventually being removed from the games without any prior confirmation.

Players can unlock the CX-9 SMG in two simple ways – one is free but will require a lot of time while the other is instantaneous but will cost you some Call of Duty points.
The first option requires you to complete an in-game challenge that’ll put your SMG skills to the test. Here’s what you need to do to unlock the CX-9:
- Get 2 Longshot Kills while using an SMG in 5 different matches
Needless to say, this can be quite time-consuming depending on your skills with the SMG. However, there’s also an easier alternative to get the CX-9.
The second method requires players to get the Serac blueprint for the CX-9. This can be done by purchasing the Soap Operator bundle in the store that’ll cost you 2,400 COD points.
