After a long period of waiting from Call of Duty players worldwide, the highly anticipated CX-9 SMG has finally been added to COD Warzone and Modern Warfare.
Previously, it was available for a short while in the battle royale before eventually being removed from the games without any prior confirmation.
On August 3rd, the CX-9 SMG made its reappearance in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare alongside the Soap Operator.
Let’s take a look at what you can do to unlock the CX-9 SMG in Call of Duty.
How to unlock CX-9 in COD?
Players can unlock the CX-9 SMG in two simple ways – one is free but will require a lot of time while the other is instantaneous but will cost you some Call of Duty points.
The first option requires you to complete an in-game challenge that’ll put your SMG skills to the test. Here’s what you need to do to unlock the CX-9:
- Get 2 Longshot Kills while using an SMG in 5 different matches
Needless to say, this can be quite time-consuming depending on your skills with the SMG. However, there’s also an easier alternative to get the CX-9.
The second method requires players to get the Serac blueprint for the CX-9. This can be done by purchasing the Soap Operator bundle in the store that’ll cost you 2,400 COD points.
Choose the method that fits you best, and get started on your way to obtain the CX-9 SMG in COD Warzone and Modern Warfare.
