How to Get Seven Sliders in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, titled Runners, is live. The new season brought a redesigned map called Shattered Coast, along with a fresh set of items centered around mobility. One of those new items is the Seven Sliders, a pair of power boots themed after The Seven faction.

Here is everything you need to know to find and use them.

What Are the Seven Sliders?

The Seven Sliders is a movement utility item, not a weapon. They do not deal damage. The item falls under Epic rarity, so it does not drop as often as common gear. Despite that, there is no special unlock method or quest requirement. Players simply find them through regular loot.

The boots come with built-in mini-jets and two distinct abilities: Power Slide and Bullet Time. Both abilities drain the item’s durability. Once the durability runs out completely, the Seven Sliders are gone for good.

Players can carry only one pair at a time. The item does not need to be held in an active inventory slot to work.

Where to Find Seven Sliders in Fortnite

The Seven Sliders drop from standard loot sources across the Fortnite map. There is no fixed location where they are guaranteed to appear. Here is where to look:

  • Floor loot: The drop rate here is low, but it is still possible.
  • Chests and Rare Chests: Standard chests can contain them. Rare Chests offer a better chance.
  • Supply Drops and Meteors: These have a higher probability of containing the Seven Sliders compared to floor loot and regular chests.

A Mythic version of the Seven Sliders may exist, but no confirmed details have surfaced yet.

How to Use the Seven Sliders

Once you have the Seven Sliders in your inventory, they activate automatically when you slide. You do not need to equip them in your hand.

How to activate a slide:

  • On PC: press Ctrl while sprinting
  • On controller: press R3 while sprinting

Power Slide

Holding the slide button while equipped with the Seven Sliders boosts your speed significantly. This works even on flat terrain, though downward slopes on Shattered Coast let you build up the most speed. The ability fills an overheat meter as you slide. Once the meter maxes out, the boots go into a short cooldown.

To avoid overheating, slide through water. The water keeps the boots from overheating, which lets you slide for longer stretches. The boots still lose durability in water, but the cooldown does not trigger.

Bullet Time

While sliding at speed, aim down sights (ADS) with any weapon. This triggers a Bullet Time effect that slows down time briefly. It gives you a window to aim precisely at enemies before the effect ends.

Both abilities drain durability with each use, so managing how often you use them matters.
