There’s a simple and effective way to stay ahead of these problems and gain valuable insights into your connection performance – by learning how to display ping in Fortnite.

Let’s find out how to show your Ping in Fortnite.

How to Turn On Ping in Fortnite?

Launch Fortnite on Your Device

To embark on this journey of optimizing your gaming experience, first, ensure that you’ve launched Fortnite on your preferred device. Whether you’re a PC master race enthusiast, a console commander, or a mobile maven, the steps to reveal your ping remain consistent.

Access the Settings Menu

Once you’ve entered the captivating world of Fortnite, navigate to the settings menu. You can find this menu by locating the three-line icon typically situated at the top right corner of your screen. A simple tap or click on this icon will unveil a drop-down menu, granting you access to the game’s settings.

Locate the ‘Game UI’ Tab

Among the array of settings available, look for the ‘Game UI’ tab. In most cases, you’ll find this tab as the third option listed. By clicking on it, you’re one step closer to revealing your ping.

Navigate to HUD Options

Within the ‘Game UI’ settings, you’ll find a section called ‘HUD Options.’ Here, you can customize various elements of the in-game heads-up display. This is where the magic happens.

Enable ‘Net Debug Stats’

How to assist in recovering Fortnite Combat Caches?

0

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is drawing to a close, and players are eagerly seeking ways to maximize their XP gains and unlock all the exciting rewards the battle pass offers. One such opportunity lies in the weekly quest of assisting in recovering combat caches. Though it might seem challenging initially, with the right approach, you can easily conquer this task and reap the rewards.

Let’s dive into a step-by-step guide to ace this quest and earn those crucial XP points.

How to assist in recovering Fortnite Combat Caches?

Combat caches are not readily available when the game starts, akin to supply drops, they appear randomly. At some point during the match, a combat cache will descend from the sky through a rift, and its location will be marked on the map. To increase your chances, consider starting from the middle of the map, ensuring you are strategically positioned to reach the cache promptly once it appears.

Once the combat cache lands, brace yourself for fierce competition from other players vying to claim its rewards. Swiftly sprint towards the cache to get there ahead of others. Being the first to reach the cache can give you a significant advantage. Collaborating with friends in Squads, Trios, or Duos can also be beneficial, as they can protect you or assist in opening the cache.

Upon reaching the combat cache, remember that it won’t open immediately. Take a moment to interact with the cache; it will unlock, counting towards the completion of the challenge. The more players involved in opening the cache, the more “assists” will be tallied, fulfilling the challenge requirements.

To fully complete the quest, you must repeat the process three times. After successfully achieving the challenge thrice, you’ll be rewarded with a generous 30K XP, propelling you further in the current season’s battle pass.

Valve Shakes Up Counter Strike 2 with Ban on Team Invites

In a landmark announcement, the developers of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) have unveiled a series of new requirements aimed at ensuring a level playing field in professional tournaments. These changes come in response to growing concerns over the influence of business relationships on competition and access to top-level events.

The new requirements, set to take effect from 2025, focus on three main areas:

  • Elimination of Unique Business Relationships: Tournament organizers will no longer be allowed to have exclusive business ties with participating teams, preventing potential conflicts of interest.
  • Transparent and Fair Invitations: Tournament invitations will be determined by a transparent ranking system or through open qualifiers, ensuring that all teams have an equal opportunity to compete.
  • Public Disclosure of Compensation: All compensation details, including prize pools, will be made public, and the criteria for distribution will be objective and open to community inspection.

Recognizing that tournament organizers may have existing long-term commitments, the developers have provided a timeline that allows for a smooth transition to the new rules. While acknowledging that there may be challenges, they have expressed a firm commitment to the long-term health and integrity of CSGO as a sport.

These changes mark a significant step towards restoring the core values of fair competition in professional CSGO. By promoting transparency and eliminating potential conflicts of interest, the sport is poised for a more open and equitable future. Fans, players, and organizers alike can look forward to a new era where skill and ability are the sole determinants of success. The announcement has been met with widespread approval and is seen as a positive move towards preserving the integrity of one of the world’s most popular esports.

BGMS Season 2 Introduces Game Changing Feature – Powerplay

NODWIN Gaming has announced an exclusive new feature for the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 – PowerPlay. This strategic element is all set to revolutionize the gameplay dynamics, bringing in a fresh twist to the tournament. With Powerplay, teams will have the golden opportunity to double their points for each finish they secure in the first zone of every match.

What is Powerplay in BGMS Season 2?

Powerplay is a strategic element that allows teams to earn double points for each kill achieved during the initial zone of every match. In the conventional scoring system, each finish is rewarded with a single point, regardless of the zone. However, with the advent of Powerplay, the first zone becomes a pivotal phase where teams can gain an edge by securing double points for their kills. This new feature encourages teams to adopt a more aggressive gameplay style right from the start, as each early-game kill now holds the potential to yield two points instead of one.

The introduction of Powerplay brings forth significant implications for the dynamics of BGMS Season 2. Teams must reevaluate their strategies and quickly adapt to this new scoring system to maximize their point potential. The increased points during the first zone could lead to fierce battles and intensified competition, as teams compete for early dominance and a higher rank on the leaderboard.

With early-game aggressiveness being of paramount importance during the first zone, teams will engage in intense battles and take calculated risks right from the beginning of each match. However, they will need to balance their strategies for the subsequent zones, as the points return to the regular system after the initial phase.

BGMS Season 2 Powerplay Draws Inspiration from Cricket

The term “Powerplay” may ring a bell for cricket enthusiasts. In cricket, Powerplay refers to a phase during the game where the fielding restrictions are introduced. This Powerplay phase allows the batting team to take advantage of the field placements and score more freely. Similarly, in BGMS Season 2, the Powerplay concept aligns with the idea of providing teams with an opportunity to capitalize on a specific phase of the game. Just as in cricket, where the batting team tries to maximize their runs during the Powerplay, BGMS teams will strive to secure more finishes in the first zone to gain a points advantage.

Related: BGMS Season 2: Everything You Need to Know

The introduction of Powerplay in BGMS Season 2 promises to be a game-changer, injecting fresh excitement into the tournament. Teams will have to embrace a more aggressive approach during the first zone to capitalize on the double points and gain an advantage over their rivals. It will be interesting to see how teams adapt to this new feature.

Prominent Indian esports organization Gods Reign has bolstered its Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) roster by signing Moroccan coach Issam “Joyboy” Fadili to assist it from the backend. The decision to bring Joyboy on board comes just in time for BGMI Master Series (BGMS) Season 2. This tournament is scheduled to kick off on 4th August, and Gods Reign is one of the invited teams.

Gods Reign’s BGMI Roster

Gods Reign has been at the forefront in the Indian gaming community since the start of PUBG Mobile Esports. Its current BGMI lineup comprises a talented group of players who have already carved a name for themselves in the competitive gaming scene, securing numerous accolades and victories in past tournaments.

The current BGMI roster of Gods Reign includes the following:

  • Hamza “Blaze” Hyderabadwala
  • Shubham “NinjaJOD” Sahoo
  • Harsh “AquaNox” Rao
  • Robin “Robin” Shekhawat
  • Jaxon
  • Joyboy – Coach

The latest addition to the team, Joyboy, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Gods Reign. Previously, he served as the PUBG Mobile coach for a renowned Saudi Arabian esports organization, Team Falcons. During his tenure, Team Falcons made remarkable progress and emerged victorious in various regional tournaments, including the prestigious PUBG Mobile Star Challenge Arabia 2022, PUBG Mobile Pro League – Arabia Fall 2022, and PUBG Mobile Pro League – Arabia Spring 2022.

Blaze, NinjaJOD, and AquaNox are no strangers to success either, having previously showcased their remarkable teamwork and skill as part of TSM, where they secured victories in the Skyesports Mobile Open and OR Championship – Legends Rise 2022. Additionally, they earned a commendable runner-up position in the prestigious Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021. On the other hand, Robin and Jaxon previously played for Chemin Esports and Hydra Esports, respectively. Although they did not win any prominent tournament, they had already made a name for themselves in the BGMI community with their impressive gameplay

Joyboy’s wealth of knowledge in esports, coupled with the players’ incredible gameplay, will surely make a mark in the BGMI community. Nevertheless, the competition is fierce, with every team vying to claim the coveted top spot. It will be interesting to see how this acquisition turns out for Gods Reign.

The team’s recent additions, Denis “electroNic” Sharipov, and Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy, have seamlessly integrated into the team, revitalizing Cloud9’s performance.

With Ax1Le’s return, Cloud9 is now at full strength and ready to face Vitality in the quarter-final match at the Lanxess Arena. Dan “apEX” Madesclaire’s team, Vitality, will have limited data to prepare against Cloud9, as the latter has been playing more like a mix-team with buster. The Russian team is now poised to unveil their complete lineup, aiming for the trophy.

Cloud9’s roster for the playoffs includes:

  • Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov
  • Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov
  • Abay “HObbit” Khassenov
  • Denis “electroNic” Sharipov
  • Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy

With Konstantin “groove” Pikiner as the coach, the team is set to face Vitality on August 4, 2023, at 13:30.
