How to Dodge in Valorant?

With Riot Games constantly updating the map pool of Valorant, there are certain times when you’ll find yourself absolutely not wanting to play a map (looking at you, Breeze and Pearl). At times like these, the dodge feature can come into clutch.

Whether you feel like you have a bad team comp or you simply dislike the map, dodging in Valorant gives players a way to skip a match before it begins, but it comes at a small cost.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to dodge in Valorant.

What is Dodging in Valorant?

Dodging in Valorant is the act of leaving the pre-game lobby before Agent Select ends. By doing so, players can prevent the match from starting and avoid committing to play a full game on a map or with a team composition that they’re unhappy with.

While dodging is generally discouraged if overused, it’s still a legitimate tool in the game for players who want to avoid wasting time in a match where the odds seem to be stacked against them.

How To Dodge in Valorant?

Dodging in Valorant is extremely easy and can be triggered as soon as you see the ‘Match Found’ notification on your screen.

The first and perhaps the simplest method to dodge is simply by not picking an Agent. Once the Agent Select phase starts and you feel like you don’t want to commit to the game, just wait out the timer without picking an Agent. When the timer expires, your game will automatically be cancelled and you’ll be returned to the main menu.

The second and fastest method to dodge is to close the game by pressing ‘Alt+F4’ at any point during the Agent select phase. This saves everyone from waiting out the full minute for the lobby to time out. Keep in mind, however, that you’ll need to relaunch the game afterward, which can take a bit of time depending on your system.

What Are the Penalties for Dodging in Valorant?

Valorant players experience escalating penalties upon dodging a ranked game in Valorant. For the first dodge, you should see a small reduction in your rank rating (RR) and nothing else.

Subsequent dodges, however, will result in a progressively larger loss of RR points along with increasing queue timeouts that prevent you from joining a new match for a set period.

You can also dodge Unrated and Swiftplay games in Valorant, and while you won’t lose any RR on dodging those game modes, you should still see escalating timeouts for doing so.

How to Get Wasps in Fortnite?

0

If you are ready to take on a unique challenge in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, there is good news for you! The latest update brings a fresh twist with the introduction of Wasps. These buzzing insects are not just a nuisance; they can be transformed into powerful weapons to aid you in your battles. If you want to conquer your weekly challenges, dealing a hefty 100 damage using these Wasps is the key.

But before we dive into the combat strategies, let’s explore where these mysterious creatures can be found.

How to Get Wasps in Fortnite?

Venture into the Jungle biome located in the eastern part of the map, and you’ll discover the home of the Wasps. This vibrant and lush area is a haven for these elusive creatures. They are drawn to the exotic flora, making it the perfect spot to find them. But capturing them requires finesse. Use the designated interaction button to confine them within a jar—a single jar can hold up to six Wasps. However, be cautious as any sudden movement might trigger their stinging frenzy.

To protect yourself from the Wasps’ stings, embrace the shield of mud. The Jungle biome is rich in mudslides and pools. Coat yourself with mud, and you’ll blend in seamlessly with your surroundings. This camouflage will make you less noticeable to the Wasps, reducing the chances of an attack.

It’s time to unleash their power on your adversaries armed with jars full of these fearsome animals. You must use the Wildwasps to inflict 100 damage to complete the task. Your ability to target opponents is improved in Group Wedges mode. Find your competitors and release the Wasps precisely. There will be a noticeable mark left by the impact.

As you make your mark with the Wasps, your journey unfolds on the quest tab situated on the left side of your screen. Each bit of damage you inflict adds to your tally. Once you reach the coveted 100 damage milestone, victory over the challenge is yours. Your reward? A Level 1 prize that acknowledges your skill and dedication.

NYPD Seeks Help Looking For Suspects of Kai Cenat Giveaway Riot

0

New York City Police Department is looking for help in locating the elements involved in the incident at Union Square in New York City on August 4th Kai Cenat and his companions were conducting a live, real-world streaming session when things took an unexpected turn.

A commotion quickly developed, and people in the downtown area started causing a Riot among the gathering crowd to which the mayor of the city proposed the idea that outside forces might have aided in the situation’s escalation and the NYPD was tasked with finding said suspects for which they seek help.

“We’re looking at all possibilities. We’re looking at every investigative lead. But as I said, it was dangerous, whether outside agitators or young people, it was a dangerous situation,” said the Chief.

“It was not the place to bring that sort of activity. Our young people deserve to come out in the summertime, see the people they admire and have a good time. It should never, ever reach that level, the level that it did on Friday.”

Kai was arrested soon after the incident but the police let him go after a while. It is safe to assume that once the police are done combing through the CCTV footage, they will apprehend the instigators of the Riot and only then will Kai make a comeback. The case is far from its conclusion at the time of writing so only time will tell how it pans out.

BGMS Season 2 Grapples with Cheating Possibility

In a surprising turn of events, the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 has been hit by controversy. Concerns arose as Team SouL’s Manager Siddhant “Sid” Joshi revealed that the tournament featured minimal stream delay during Launch Week and the first two days of League Week 1, potentially allowing spectators to relay opponents’ locations to players.

As of today, Launch Week of the BGMS Season 2 has concluded, transitioning into the League Week 1 phase. The first three days of League Week 1 have witnessed intense battles among top-tier teams vying for dominance. However, recent revelations have cast a shadow over the transparency and integrity of the tournament.

BGMS Season 2 Stream Delay Issue

In a recent vlog by Team SouL’s coach Amit “Amit” Dubey, a concerning issue was brought to light. Sid revealed that both the Launch Week and the first two days of League Week 1 featured minimal stream delay. This minimal delay inadvertently enabled spectators to witness gameplay almost in real-time. This minimal delay potentially allowed spectators to relay opponents’ locations to players during matches.

Sid revealed that while he was unsure if any team or player had engaged in this unfair practice, the possibility existed due to the lack of an adequate delay in the streaming setup. The consequence was that such messages from spectators could go unnoticed by BGMS Season 2 adminis, thereby compromising the competitive integrity of the tournament.

Sid Exemplifies the Severity of the Concern

Sid further disclosed that he had alerted the management about this issue on League Week 1 Day 2. However, his concerns did not make any difference, as the management took no immediate actions to address the issue. To illustrate the severity of the concern, Sid asked one of Team SouL’s players, Sohail “Hector” Shaikh, who was present as a spectator, to send messages to select players during the dry run on the third day.

Allegedly, admins could not detect any of these messages, further highlighting the potential vulnerability. Following this experiment, the management reportedly acknowledged the gravity of the issue and agreed to implement a delay in the streaming process to counteract any potential unfair practices.

After the implementation of the stream delay, the BGMS Season 2 observed a noticeable shift in match dynamics. However, it’s crucial to maintain impartiality and acknowledge that we cannot solely attribute these changes to the stream delay. Similar fluctuations in gameplay dynamics are entirely normal and commonplace occurrences in highly competitive tournaments.

When Will Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 Night Market Start?

0

Valorant, the globally renowned first-person shooter, is once again capturing the attention of its vast player base with the return of the Night Market event in August 2023. This event, eagerly awaited by fans, offers a unique blend of excitement, surprise, and affordability.

The Night Market isn’t just another sales event. It’s a bi-monthly spectacle where players are presented with six distinct weapon skins, each available at a tempting discount ranging from 10% to 49%. The catch? The weapon skins are randomly generated, adding an element of suspense. Players might stumble upon skins from the Select, Deluxe, or Premium Edition tiers, making each visit to the Night Market a thrilling experience.

Upon entering the Night Market, players are greeted with six concealed cards. Clicking on these cards unveils the weapon skins on offer. After assessing the discounted rate, players can acquire their desired skins using the in-game currency, Valorant Points. However, there’s a caveat: only skins released two acts prior to the current event are up for grabs. Notably, Gear Skins, Battle Pass Skins, and Tactical Knife skins priced above 3,550 Valorant Points remain elusive.

When Will the Next Valorant Night Market Start?

The Night Market is slated to commence on 10th August 2023 at 00:00 UTC and will run until 28th August 2023. This window provides ample opportunity for players to dive in and secure their favorite skins.

A plethora of weapon skins from various bundles, including the Select Edition (featuring the likes of Convex, Luxe, and Prism II) and the Deluxe Edition (boasting skins like Abyssal, Altitude, and Sakura), will be available. The Premium Edition isn’t left behind either, with standout skins such as Black Market, Celestial, and Reaver making an appearance. However, Melee Weapon Skins priced at 4350 VP and above won’t be part of the Night Market offerings.

It’s not only about the skins. The creators are dedicated to improving the gameplay. On August 8, 2023, the most recent patch note 7.03 was issued. It brought forth a number of enhancements, including improved muting capabilities and store updates. Players may now navigate directly to their newly obtained sprays from the confirmation page and quickly favorite freshly acquired things after the game.

BGMI Cheating Allegations: SnehilOP’s Accusation Against Team Mayavi Sparks Controversy – Goldy and Sinha Weigh In

0

SnehilOP, a content creator known for his analysis on controversial topics, has been actively vocal about combating cheating in the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) community. Following his success in exposing Stalwart Esports for cheating and ringing, SnehilOP has alleged Team Mayavi for cheating. S8UL Esports’ co-owner Lokesh “Goldy” Jain recently appreciated SnehilOP for his efforts in fostering fair gameplay in the community. Additionally, he also shared his thoughts about the allegations on Team Mayavi.

SnehilOP’s Role is Exposing Stalwart Esports

SnehilOP’s relentless efforts against cheating in the BGMI community came to the forefront when he alleged Stalwart Esports’ female roster of cheating and ringing during Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023: The Grind. He performed a thorough analysis of the team’s gameplay and even invited players to chat during his livestream. Subsequently, the players admitted that the allegations made on the team were indeed true. This revelation prompted Krafton’s intervention, leading to the disqualification of Stalwart Esports from the tournament. Stalwart Esports, in an attempt to salvage their position, stated that the slot was transferred to Team Dynamic. However, the team could not change its name due to time constraints, leading to a complex situation with conflicting narratives.

Emergence of Team Mayavi and Cheating Allegations

The BGMI community once again finds itself in the midst of controversy with the emergence of “Team Mayavi.” Formed by Global Esports’ coach Shubham “Mayavi” Chawla, the team aimed to uplift underdog players and provide them with an opportunity to shine on the competitive stage. However, soon after the team made its debut, allegations of cheating surfaced, throwing the team’s reputation into question. Several content creators accused Team Mayavi of unfair practices, sparking a fierce debate within the community.

SnehilOP’s dedication to ensuring clean gameplay led him to scrutinize Team Mayavi’s gameplay meticulously. After reviewing multiple clips and thoroughly analyzing their performance, SnehilOP publicly alleged that Team Mayavi was involved in cheating. It’s important to note that as of now, there has been no official confirmation from Krafton regarding these allegations.

Goldy’s Support and Call for Accountability

In a recent livestream, viewers asked Goldy, who has a substantial influence within the BGMI community, about his opinion on Team Mayavi’s cheating allegations. Responding to this, he weighed in on the matter. Goldy expressed his appreciation for SnehilOP’s commitment to maintaining the game’s integrity. He also commended SnehilOP for his courage in taking on the responsibility of cleansing the community from unfair practices.

Although Goldy praised SnehilOP for his efforts, he also acknowledged Mayavi’s standing within the community. “Whatever he does, he will think thoroughly and consider everything before doing it. And for the fact that he is so confident, I think he should come out and be more vocal directly on Youtube or other platforms rather than Instagram stories. I believe that you can’t prove your point through Instagram stories,” he added.

Watch SnehilOP’s complete analysis on Team Mayavi’s gameplay and Goldy’s statements:

Global Esports’ CEO Addresses the Allegations

Global Esports’ CEO Rushindra Sinha took to Instagram stories to address the accusations against Team Mayavi. Sinha stated that the team is under their close scrutiny. He highlighted that the devices used by the players are provided by the organization, and all necessary proof and information have been submitted to both Krafton and the tournament organizers (TOs). He added that the team has been granted clearance from all parties involved. However, SInha issued a stern warning that if any instance of unfair play is found, the players will “permanently and irreversibly be both terminated and banned.”

Sinha noted that the rush to judgment can have detrimental effects on the young players who are at the heart of the allegations. He reminded the community that these players are the subject of baseless accusations that could have lasting impacts on their budding careers.

Mentioning the principle “innocent until proven guilty,” Sinha highlighted similar accusations faced by Global Esports’ former roster, which later turned out to be untrue. He added that if anyone is found guilty, appropriate actions will be taken against them. He also requested the community not to harass the players.

Logan Paul banned from bringing PRIME at Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz fight

0

Logan Paul has publicly criticised his brother for keeping him from promoting PRIME during Jake’s most recent fight with Nate Diaz. The altercation between the brothers has become a trending topic in the community after he shed light on the incident in the most recent Impaulsive podcast episode covered this conflict in detail.

The Paul brothers collaborated to talk about their individual weekend successes in their most recent podcast episode. Logan said Jake’s team had told him not to promote PRIME at the Paul vs. Diaz match. The podcast started with the brothers discussing the recent triumph when Logan opened up about what happened in the JP v Nate Diaz fight.

“They said I would get kicked out if I bought a Prime bottle. That’s f**king ridiculous bro,” Logan said. “Do you think I would ever ban you from promoting any of your s**t at any of my events?”

“It caused issues at our last event when we had other betting partners and drink partners, and you came out with the betting (cap) and the drinks,” Jake responded.

The conversation soon went a little too personal led to the pair taking down the cameras to continue discussing the incident behind the scenes. With plenty of more fights on their way, we will see if Jake concedes to Logan’s complaints and lets him promote his brand PRIME in the younger Paul’s event.
