IShowSpeed Goes Off on OmeTV After Getting Banned for Being “Ugly”

0

In the ever-evolving world of online streaming, controversies are not uncommon. The latest to join the fray is IShowSpeed, a popular YouTuber, who recently faced multiple bans on the video chat platform OmeTV. The reason? He claims it’s due to his appearance.

IShowSpeed is no stranger to the limelight. With a staggering 20 million subscribers on YouTube, he has carved a niche for himself in the streaming community. His journey, however, hasn’t been without its fair share of ups and downs. From being rushed to the hospital due to health concerns to an inadvertent wardrobe malfunction that went viral, the star has seen it all.

During a recent broadcast, IShowSpeed decided to interact with fans on OmeTV, a platform akin to Omegle. But things took a turn when he was abruptly banned after a series of interactions. The reason cited by OmeTV was an “irrelevant image,” showcasing IShowSpeed in a playful facial expression.

The ban didn’t sit well with the streamer. He expressed his disbelief to his viewers, questioning, “They just banned me because of my face? Am I that ugly? Am I that f**king ugly?!” He had the option to self-unban after paying a fee, but the site once more banned him, causing a new outrage.

Post the incident, IShowSpeed shifted his streaming focus to Roblox. However, the OmeTV episode has sparked a debate among fans and fellow streamers. While some believe the ban was unwarranted, others feel platforms need more precise guidelines to avoid such controversies.

Riot Games to Remove Mythic Items from League of Legends

0

League of Legends, the globally acclaimed MOBA, is set to undergo a significant transformation. Riot Games, in their recent Dev Update, unveiled plans for the 2024 Season, with the spotlight on a major decision: the removal of Mythic Items from the game.

Since their introduction, Mythic Items have been a point of contention within the LoL community. Designed to be powerful game-changers, these items came with a catch – players could equip only one Mythic item per champion. This limitation, while intended to add strategic depth, inadvertently stifled player creativity and reduced build diversity.

Riot Games, always keen on community feedback, recognized the growing concerns. Despite several tweaks and changes aimed at refining the Mythic system, the results fell short of expectations. Pu Lui, the Game Director for League of Legends, candidly admitted that the Mythic Items system didn’t cater uniformly to champions across various roles and classes. While some champions thrived, others found themselves constrained, lacking optimal item choices.

Starting January 2023, the Mythic item tier will be phased out, marking a significant shift in the game’s meta. But it’s not all about removal. Riot Games plans to revamp popular Mythic items, ensuring they remain viable and exciting choices for players. This change paves the way for players to revisit and experiment with iconic item combinations, like the synergy between Infinity Edge and Trinity Force.

IShowSpeed ‘Disgusted’ by Cristiano Ronaldo’s EA FC 24 Rating

0

The world of football is no stranger to debates and controversies, especially when it comes to player ratings in popular video games. EA FC 24’s recent leak surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo’s rating has not only stirred the pot but also evoked strong reactions from dedicated fans and streamers.

IShowSpeed, a renowned streaming superstar and an ardent Ronaldo supporter, expressed his sheer disbelief and disgust upon seeing the leaked rating. His dedication to Ronaldo is evident, from attending every Portugal match in the 2022 World Cup to regularly sporting a CR7 shirt during his streams. The leaked rating, which showed a significant drop for Ronaldo, was enough to make IShowSpeed exclaim, “I literally threw up… That’s so f***ing disgusting.”

The leaked information, courtesy of DonkTrading, a known Fifa Ultimate Team leaker, suggests that Ronaldo’s overall rating has taken a hit, dropping from 90 in Fifa 23 to a surprising 86 in EA FC 24. This decline is further accentuated when one looks at the individual attributes: Ronaldo’s pace, shooting, and dribbling have all been notably reduced. In stark contrast, Lionel Messi, Ronaldo’s long-time rival on the pitch, retains an overall rating of 90.

While the gaming community is abuzz with these leaks, it’s essential to remember that they remain unconfirmed. Game development is a fluid process, and ratings can undergo changes, especially in a live service environment. With the official release of EA FC 24 slated for September 29, there’s still hope that the final ratings might differ from the leaks.

CSGO Cheaters on the Rise as CS2 Launch Looms

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) has been a cornerstone in the gaming community for over a decade. However, as Valve gears up for the much-anticipated launch of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), many players of the original game are voicing concerns about an increasing number of cheaters disrupting their gameplay experience.

CSGO, with its rich history, has witnessed various challenges. But the recent surge in cheating allegations is casting a shadow over its legacy. Players have taken to online platforms, especially Reddit, to express their frustrations. A thread titled “Rising Issue of Cheaters in CSGO” became a hotbed for such discussions, although it was later removed by the official GlobalOffensive forum moderators.

The gaming community is vocal about their experiences, with many reporting encountering “at least one suspicious player once every five matches.” The sentiment is echoed by a player who, despite their love for the game, finds the current state disheartening. According to Dot Esports, another seasoned player, boasting 10,000 hours in CSGO, lamented about losing games due to “2-3 blatant cheaters on sub-100-hour accounts.”

Valve’s Anti-Cheat (VAC) system made headlines in March when it banned over 4,000 players. However, recent data from SteamID indicates a significant drop in bans, with numbers dwindling to 50 or even fewer in August. This decline raises questions about Valve’s commitment to maintaining a fair playing environment in CSGO.

Is Lies of P Coming to Nintendo Switch?

0

The gaming community is abuzz with the dark allure of Lies of P, an action RPG that draws its essence from the timeless tale of Pinocchio. With its captivating narrative and intricate gameplay, the question on everyone’s mind is: Will this hauntingly beautiful game make its way to the Nintendo Switch?

Lies of P is not your typical fairy tale adaptation. It delves deep into a somber world, transforming the innocent story of Pinocchio into a bleak journey. Players assume the role of a mechanical boy, navigating through a deteriorating city in search of his creator. The game’s environment is meticulously crafted, presenting a world filled with formidable foes and intricate mechanics that promise a rich gaming experience.

Is Lies of P Coming to Nintendo Switch?

Given the game’s rising popularity, it’s only natural for players to yearn for its presence on the Nintendo Switch, a console celebrated for its versatility and expansive game library. However, as things stand, Lies of P is not slated for a Nintendo Switch release.

The game’s developers, Neowiz Games, and Round 8 Studio, have remained silent on this front. Currently, the game is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

While the immediate prospects might seem dim, the dynamic nature of the gaming industry means there’s always hope. The Nintendo Switch has a track record of hosting games initially exclusive to other platforms. If Lies of P garners significant acclaim and fanfare on its initial platforms, there’s a possibility it could eventually grace the Nintendo Switch.

How to Play Starfield Early Access?

0

The gaming universe is buzzing with anticipation as Bethesda’s expansive space RPG, Starfield, prepares to make its grand debut on Xbox Series X|S and PC. This title promises to be a game-changer, especially for Xbox enthusiasts looking for an edge over the PlayStation realm. If you’re among the many eager to dive into this vast cosmos, here’s a comprehensive guide on how to access Starfield before the masses.

How to Play Starfield Early Access?

Starfield’s launch is set for Wednesday, September 6th. However, you have several routes to embark on this journey earlier:

  • Standard Purchase: Buy the game on its release date for Xbox or PC.
  • Game Pass Access: If you’re a Game Pass subscriber, either for Xbox alone or both Xbox and PC, you can play Starfield as part of your subscription starting September 6th.
  • Early Bird Special: Opt for the Digital Premium, Premium Upgrade, or Constellation editions of Starfield. This choice lets you play almost a week in advance, granting access from August 31st, 5pm PT/8pm ET.

For those with a Game Pass subscription, there’s a nifty trick to enjoy Starfield’s early access. By purchasing the $35 Premium Upgrade, you can dive into the game during the Early Access period. This might seem like a splurge for a few extra days, but the Premium Edition packs more than just early gameplay. It includes exclusive in-game items, the upcoming Shattered Space Story Expansion, and other enticing bonuses.

Microsoft’s $1 Game Pass trial might be off the table, but there’s still a way to get more bang for your buck. Combining a month of the standard Game Pass ($10.99) or the Ultimate ($16.99) with the $35 Premium Upgrade still costs less than the $69.99 Standard Edition or the $99.99 Premium Edition. And the cherry on top? You get to play Starfield before its official release.
