GamerLegion, a renowned esports organization, recently found itself in the midst of controversy, leading to the decisive parting of ways with Chloe “KittyTM” Geaney, a member of GL Prism, over discriminatory comments.
GamerLegion acted promptly, severing ties with KittyTM after just two days following the surfacing of screenshots on Twitter, allegedly showing the player making racist and derogatory remarks via in-game text channels. This rapid response underscores the organization’s commitment to upholding the values of respect and inclusivity within the esports community.
GamerLegion prides itself on uniting a diverse team, bound by a shared passion for esports. The organization emphasizes the importance of promoting diversity, especially within its female teams, aiming to break down stereotypes and foster greater representation for women in esports. The dismissal of KittyTM reflects GamerLegion’s firm stance against discriminatory behavior that tarnishes the spirit of competition inherent in esports.
The departure of KittyTM leaves GL Prism with four active players, currently holding a 1-1 record in ESL Impact League Season 4 Europe. Despite the setback, the team continues to compete, with upcoming fixtures in ESL’s flagship women’s league. GamerLegion remains dedicated to showcasing the talent and dedication of its players and inspiring more individuals to pursue their dreams in esports, irrespective of gender.

Siddhant “Sid” Joshi, the manager of the popular Indian Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) team – Team SouL, recently voiced his growing concerns regarding the rise of cheating, also referred to as hacking, in the game. Sid shed light on the ongoing issues of hacking and the lack of effective anti-cheat measures in BGMI, raising important questions about the integrity of competitive gaming in India.
Sid Voices Concern Over Hacking Issue in BGMI
Cheating, also referred to as hacking, has become an increasingly troubling issue in the BGMI community. Multiple instances of accusations and evidence have emerged during the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. Players and teams have accused other players and teams of hacking, and clips supporting these claims have surfaced on various platforms.
Sid started by sharing a thought that had recently occurred to him regarding hacking in BGMI. He explained that BGMI does not have a reliable anti-cheat system, and a few players are hacking clearly and still are not getting banned. He added that he had seen some BGIS 2023 clips where the accused is clearly hacking. Sharing his thoughts, Sid said, “My thought was, what if someday all T1 players decide to use cheats?”
Sid suggested that, given the current state of affairs, there might be little to deter them. Sid argued that the lack of action against cheaters could lead to a situation where even renowned players like Team SouL’s Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal could potentially use cheats without raising suspicion. “No one is going to doubt him, because he’s that good even without hacking. It will completely mess up the game,” he added.
“This thought occurred to me because there have been a few clips from BGMI where you can clearly see shit going down. You can clearly see aim tracing and bullets going through walls clearly. You don’t need POV and there won’t be any explanation for it, but there is no action being taken,” Sid said.
Sid Calls for Immediate Action to Resolve Hacking Issue in BGMI
Sid emphasized the urgency of addressing the hacking issue in BGMI. He expressed concern that rampant hacking could have a devastating impact on the game, its entertainment value, and the prospects of underdog teams in tournaments. He called on game officials and Krafton, the company behind BGMI, to take swift action to combat hacking. “Some players are doing it blatantly, and I don’t know when officials will look into it. Just imagine, what is stopping a T1 player from using these hacks. Tell me. Why should a T1 player not do it? Most of them are getting f***ed by hackers. So many good teams have gotten eliminated because of hackers,” he added.
Sid noted that most of the T1 players will not resort to hacking because of ethics or the chance of a lifetime ban. “But I’m just saying what is stopping them? They won’t be afraid of anything, no one is getting banned or caught. It is even safe for them because no one would even doubt them. I was just thinking how the game is ruining because of it,” he added.
Sid Explains Why Krafton Can’t Ban Players Based on Video Clips
Sid acknowledged that banning players solely based on video clips of suspicious gameplay poses challenges. He added that an anti-cheat system is necessary to ban players for hacking. He drew a parallel with Valorant, a game with a robust anti-cheat system that swiftly punishes hackers. “There are a few Valorant players, whose clips if you see with their name hidden, you will think that they are hackers because his aim is snapping or how did he know that I was here. But this does not happen in Valorant because it has a strong anti-cheat system. If you hack, you will get banned 101%. So you can’t ban anyone on the basis of clips, it doesn’t matter how suspicious it looks,” he added.
As hacking allegations and concerns continue to grow in the BGMI community, Sid’s statements have brought the issue to the forefront. The need for a robust anti-cheat system is evident, as the integrity of competitive gaming in BGMI hangs in the balance. It will be interesting to see what actions Krafton will take to solve this plaguing issue.

For the first time, EA Sports FC 24 on Nintendo Switch is powered by the Frostbite Engine, aligning it more closely with the versions available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This development marks a departure from the previous “legacy” versions and represents a significant upgrade, offering an expanded Ultimate Team mode and a richer, more immersive gaming experience.
EA FC 24 Framerate and Resolution
EA Sports has confirmed that FC 24 on Nintendo Switch operates at 30 frames per second, with a resolution of 720p in handheld mode and 1080p in docked mode. While the game has traditionally run at 60fps across various platforms, the 30fps on Switch is seen as a starting point, with the potential for enhancements in future iterations.
The gaming community has had mixed reactions to the framerate, with some expressing disappointment, while others see it as a step forward, given the advancements in other areas of the game. The anticipation is high for future improvements and support, including regular patches, bug fixes, and live campaigns in Ultimate Team, Volta, and Clubs throughout the season.
Speculations are rife about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, slated for release in 2024. There are high expectations for a version of FC 24 optimized for the next-gen console, potentially running at 60fps and offering an experience closer to the current-gen versions.
A mobile version of the globally popular FPS Valorant has been in the works for a long time, and we have had leaks. Still, the latest ones will make us more hopeful as it showcases a game closer to launch than ever.
Latest leaks have surfaced that indicate how the game will look once it is available to play on mobile. It showcases the agents, weapons, animations, controls, and gameplay and this is likely because the game is in its final stage of development undergoing fine-tuning to make it optimal before millions of users hop in it.
In the leaked footage, we can see the game being played on an iPad which looks buttery smooth and the controls don’t make the game feel unnatural to a great extent. The animation, the movement, and the overall mobility of the game look well put together and this is probably the final leaked footage that we will get before the actual launch.
The mobile version features an instant highlight system which is yet to arrive in the PC version of the game. While we have yet to scratch the surface with animations it is likely that the mobile version will do it differently given the limitations of the device.
Valorant Mobile has successfully ported almost everything from the PC version of the game which retains the core elements that made it great in the first place. Having the same experience on a device that fits into your pocket is nothing short of impressive but suffice it to say that the specs will demand to say the least.
Gen.G has announced the addition of former Global Esports and DWG KIA player Kim “t3xture” Na-ra. The signing of t3xture marks a significant development for Gen.G as they gear up for the upcoming Valorant 2024 season. This acquisition comes hot on the heels of retaining their first player, Kim “Meteor” Tae-O, indicating a shift towards building a formidable Korean-majority team.
Gen.G’s Roster For Valorant 2024 Season
After the recent announcement, Gen.G’s Valorant 2024 season roster includes the following two Korean players:
Gen.G put forth an impressive performance in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 season, winning four consecutive matches at the start of the season. However, as they moved ahead, they faced formidable challenges, resulting in a five-game losing streak. Despite these setbacks, they managed to secure a coveted playoff spot through a tiebreaker, ultimately finishing a commendable fourth place, trailing closely behind Paper Rex, DRX, and T1. Following this, Gen.G appeared in Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 Pacific Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). Despite showing a commendable performance, the team faced an exit from the tournament from the Lower Bracket Final, finishing at third position.
T3xture started off his Valorant franchise league journey with India-based VCT Pacific League team Global Esports. During his tenure with Global Esports, t3xture showcased remarkable adaptability by consistently delivering stellar individual performances, even while playing as an Initiator, which was a completely different role from his primary Duelist role. However, despite his personal achievements, Global Esports fell short of expectations, finishing in eighth place in the league and failing to secure a single series win in the Last Chance Qualifier.
This new addition to Gen.G Valorant roster brings with it a pressing question concerning the role of Meteor, who has been recognized as a primary Duelist within the team. With both t3xture and Meteor holding similar roles, Gen.G faces an exciting challenge of optimizing their roster for peak performance.
Global Esports, the only Indian organization in the Valorant franchise, announced “roster reset” after a mediocre performance in Valorant Champion Tour (VCT) 2023 season. As a part of this roster reset, Global Esports previously signed former Paper Rex player Benedict “Benkai” Tan, retained its Indian player Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury, and signed former Guild Esports’ player Russel “Russ” Mendes. Now, the organization has made yet another significant move by adding former BOOM Esports player Gary “blaZek1ng” Dastin to their Valorant 2024 roster. This marks the fourth major signing for the team as they gear up for the VCT 2024 season.
Global Esports’ Valorant 2024 Roster
blaZek1ng has been one of the most popular names in the Valorant Pacific community since the start of the game’s community. He has joined Global Esports after an impressive stint with BOOM Esports.
blaZek1ng has been a vital member of BOOM Esports since 2020 and is renowned as one of the most decorated players from Indonesia. His competitive journey in Valorant traces back to First Strike and encompasses the past three VCT Indonesia seasons. However, his claim to fame came as he led BOOM Esports to victory in the 2022 APAC Last Chance Qualifier, earning them a coveted spot at Valorant Champions 2022 Istanbul. His commendable performance during VCL Indonesia Split 2 also led the team to victory.
Global Esports’ Valorant 2024 roster includes the following players:
Benedict “Benkai” Tan
Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury
Russel “Russ” Mendes – IGL
Gary “blaZek1ng” Dastin
Peter “Spin” Bradford – Head coach
Morgan “BigTime” Jay – Assistant Coach
Notably, instead of Benkai or blaZek1ng, Russ will be stepping into the leadership role for Global Esports.
Global Esports is undoubtedly shaping a formidable Valorant roster for the VCT 2024 season, blending experience, talent, and leadership to compete at the highest level in Valorant esports. Fans eagerly await further announcements as the organization continues its roster build for what promises to be an exciting season of Valorant action.
There’s no denying that Valorant Mobile is one of the most anticipated titles to be released in the near future. Having already made waves in the PC gaming first-person-shooter (FPS) genre, Valorant is all set to take over the mobile gaming industry.
Back in June 2021, Riot Games announced that it will port its highly successful PC FPS title Valorant to Mobile. However, it has been the only official announcement from Riot Games regarding Valorant Mobile. Despite the incredible hype surrounding it, Riot Games has yet to disclose any information regarding a global release. It’s worth noting that the game is currently in the closed beta testing stage in China, resulting in numerous gameplay clips surfacing in recent months, alongside a few leaked clips over the past couple of years
Valorant Mobile Latest Leaks Features Gameplay Videos
In the most recent batch of leaks, a YouTuber by the name of AnakinGG has shared four distinct videos of Valorant Mobile on their channel. These videos showcase Ranked Gameplay, Deathmatch Gameplay Handcam, a test of Raze’s double satchel, and Gyroscope Gameplay Handcam. These gameplay videos have sparked considerable hype among fans eagerly anticipating the strategic and action-packed world of Valorant on their mobile devices.
The first video provides a comprehensive look at gameplay in a ranked match played on the Bind map. The player uses the Raze agent, and the gameplay closely resembles its PC counterpart. Even the abilities of all agents featured in the game remain identical.
The second video is a handcam recording of gameplay during a Deathmatch. The match takes place on Ascent, and everything showcased in the videos mirrors the PC version of the game.
The third video serves as a test of Raze’s double satchel ability, which was creatively used in Valorant PC. However, to make effective use of this ability, players must possess quick reflexes and proper hand coordination. It will be interesting to see how mobile gamers master this creative ability given the limitations of mobile inputs.
Gyroscope functionality is one of the most crucial aspects of mobile gaming. It provides players with an additional control technique, allowing precise crosshair manipulation and freeing up the aiming thumb for other controls. The last video demonstrates the use of Gyroscope in Valorant Mobile, and surprisingly, it appears to be very accurate.
Other Notable Aspects of Valorant Mobile
One of the key aspects to note in these videos is the mobile user interface (UI) and control scheme. While Valorant Mobile maintains the essence of the PC UI, it does introduce some mobile-specific adjustments. On the screen, players will find buttons for scope, fire, jump, crouch, buy, settings, mute, chat, reload, map, health, and equipped weapons.
Perhaps the most critical aspect of any mobile adaptation is its performance. Valorant Mobile shines in this regard, offering players smooth and responsive gameplay. This performance not only ensures that the gameplay experience is faithful to the PC version but also caters to the demands of competitive gaming on mobile devices.
As Valorant Mobile gears up for release, its potential to captivate a broader audience becomes increasingly evident. With the game’s ability to replicate the PC experience effectively, it is all set to attract a diverse player base, further solidifying Valorant’s presence in mobile esports.
