Scout revealed that the team will stick with the same roster, but will sign a fourth player to replace Pukar “Pukar” Singla, who recently parted ways. 

Scout Drops Hints About the New Player in TeamXSpark’s BGMI Roster

In a recent livestream, Scout revealed that TeamXSpark initially planned to sign a completely different lineup for BGMI, and transfer their existing roster to a different organization. “The reason behind it was Pukar wasn’t able to gel up with the team and the team wasn’t able to gel up with Pukar,” he added.

However, Scout decided to retain the core of Sarangajyoti “Sarang” Deka, Harsh “SPRAYGOD” Malik, Tushar “DreamS” Jain, and coach Osmium. However, he will be signing a fourth player to complete the team.  Scout revealed that the team went on an exhaustive search for the fourth player, evaluating numerous candidates to find the perfect fit. “For this fourth player, we tried a lot of players and finally we have finalized the fourth player, which we will reveal directly in the video in the 1st week of January,” he added.

Scout revealed that the organization will announce its fourth player in the first week of January 2023 following Team SouL’s roster announcement on 1st January. 

Scout also detailed the qualities of the players on the roster by providing cryptic descriptions. “We got the best entry fragger, we got one of the most consistent players, we got the finest clutch master India has ever seen, and one of the calmest IGL who hasn’t got a chance yet to lead. Now, you guess who those players are,” he stated.

PGL Unveils CS2 RMR 2024 Closed Qualifiers Invited Teams

Been a few days since the first Counter-Strike 2 Major was announced and as teams gear up for the biggest event of the game, we have the list of teams that will play in the Closed Qualifiers for the PGL CS2 2024 Major.

CS2 Major follows the same format as the years before, teams have been divided according to their regions and rankings were a key factor in deciding what teams get invited to the closed qualifiers. The competitive map pool of Valorant consists of seven unique maps, subject to frequent rotations that come alongside major updates. According to recent leaks, the upcoming Episode 8 Act 1 update will also bring a shift in the active map pool of Valorant, and it’s expected to bring back a map that has been out of the competitive pool of the shooter for over eight months.

As per a Tweet from prominent Valorant dataminer ‘ValorLeaks’, Valorant Episode 8 will introduce the fan-favorite map Icebox back into the game. However, to make room for this exciting addition, it will replace an existing map within the current map pool of the title.

Icebox Returning To Valorant With Episode 8 Act 1 Update

It has been a while since Icebox was taken out of the competitive map pool of Valorant. Following a complete rework of certain parts of the map, Icebox was removed from the pool with the Episode 6 Act 3 update in April 2023.

The return of Icebox is certain to be a welcome change within the Valorant community, but fans might not be very happy about the departure of one of the most iconic maps of the game – Haven.

According to the aforementioned leak, Haven is likely leaving the map pool of Valorant to make room for Icebox’s return. Haven stands out among Valorant’s maps by introducing the innovative concept of three bomb sites, a groundbreaking design element that deviates from the traditional two-bombsite structure found in the initial stages of the game. Lotus, added to the lineup at a later date, also adopts this three-site layout, making them the exclusive maps in the Valorant roster with this distinctive feature

As mentioned earlier, Icebox is expected to return to Valorant with the Episode 8 update. The Episode 8 Act 1 update will hit the live servers of Valorant around January 8, 2024.
