Stop Buying Gems! Here’s How to Get Free Gems in Clash of Clans

1. Achievements: Easy Rewards for Progress

Is Halo Infinite Dead in 2024? Here’s the Real Answer

0

Halo Infinite, Bungie’s beloved sci-fi shooter, burst onto the scene in late 2021. But the buzz surrounding the game has prompted some to wonder: is Halo Infinite slowly dying? In this article, we dive into player numbers, developer support, and the game’s overall health to see if there’s any truth in the rumors.

Is Halo Infinite Dead? – A Look at Player Numbers & Updates

Fluctuating Player Numbers: The Normal Cycle

It’s completely natural for live-service games like Halo Infinite to experience ups and downs in player count. Big updates and new content drops often see spikes in returning players, followed by gradual declines as excitement wanes. This is the reality of many games that rely on constant updates to stay alive.

Recent data does show a drop-off over the last stretch, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. Halo Infinite’s peak player numbers have consistently topped 10,000 for several months. This indicates a healthy, active player base despite the expected fluctuations.

Why the “Dead Game” Rumors?

The “is Halo Infinite dead?” question likely stems from a few factors. The game had a rocky launch, lacking some of the features Halo fans hold dear. This frustrated players, with some leaving and perhaps being reluctant to return. However, the situation has changed drastically.

Developer Support: Breathing New Life into Halo

Bungie has poured continuous effort into expanding and improving Halo Infinite. Fan-favorite game modes like Infection are finally here, alongside unique spins on classic modes like Husky Raid. Crucially, the long-awaited Forge mode has given the Halo community a new playground of creativity.

These meaningful updates show Bungie’s commitment to the game’s longevity. It’s a clear signal to those who left early that Halo Infinite has evolved significantly.

Beyond the Numbers: What Makes Halo Infinite Thrive

While player numbers are important, they don’t define a game’s success. Halo Infinite boasts:

  • A Dedicated Core Fanbase: Halo’s legacy means there’s always a passionate group of players ready to suit up as Master Chief.
  • Esports Potential: Halo Infinite’s competitive scene is gaining traction, attracting new players and viewers.
  • The Forge Factor: User-generated content will keep things fresh, as talented mapmakers continually surprise and delight the community.

The Verdict: Far From Dead

Halo Infinite is not dead; it’s evolving. It’s common for any live-service game to experience player fluctuations, but there’s still plenty of life in this sci-fi shooter. Developer efforts, a dedicated community, and the potential of Forge mode all point towards a positive future.

The International 2024 Dota 2 Tournament to Take Place in Copenhagen

The International 2024, the largest annual Dota 2 tournament, is set to take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, in September 2024. Valve confirmed the news in an official blog post published on the night of March 8th.

European fans have eagerly awaited the chance to attend The International in person since the last time it was held in Europe, back in TI 1 in 2011, as part of Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Despite TI 10 taking place in Bucharest, Romania, fans couldn’t attend the event due to a surge in coronavirus cases, leading Valve to announce a no-live-audience policy for the event. With TI 2024 set to take place in Copenhagen, anticipation is high among Dota 2 enthusiasts in Europe for the return of this prestigious tournament to their continent.

The International 2024 will feature sixteen of the finest Dota 2 teams from throughout the globe battling it out for a humongous prize pool. Valve has announced that the participating teams will be “a mix of open qualifiers, regional qualifiers, and direct invitations, similar to how invitations worked for the first few years of The International.”

Teams that get direct invites to the prestigious event will be chosen based on their performance in the various tournaments throughout the year.

While the exact dates of The International 2024 haven’t been revealed at the time of writing, we know that the tournament is scheduled to kick off in September. Valve has also revealed that the main event for TI 2024 will take place in Copenhagen’s Royal Arena.

The ticketing and scheduling information for The International 2024 will be disclosed by Valve in the next few months.

Revenant Esports Revamps Brawl Stars Roster, Adds Japanese Stars

0

Revenant Esports, an esports, lifestyle, and gaming organization headquartered in Mumbai, has announced a revamped roster for the 2024 Brawl Stars esports season. The new roster retains Indian star and decorated Brawl Stars athlete, Ashmit “Sergeant Clash” Singh, with the addition of two talents from Japan.

Revenant Esports Brawl Stars roster for 2024 is as follows:

  • Ashmit “Sergeant Clash” Singh
  • Takuya “Menmi” Kitano
  • Kenji “Ken-G” Oda
  • Karthikk “Kizuki” Adithiyha S: Analyst

Sergeant Clash is undoubtedly the most decorated Indian Brawl Stars esports player. The 19-year-old has been competing actively since 2020, making him an experienced veteran despite his young age. Over the years, he has won numerous Monthly Finals in the Brawl Stars Championship, but his most notable achievements came in 2023 with Revenant.

Throughout 2023, Revenant Esports placed first in four of the six Monthly Finals for the Brawl Stars Championship, securing a slot at the World Finals LCQ in Katowice, Poland. After another impressive win here, the team made it to the prestigious 2023 World Finals, competing against the best of the world for a share of the $750,000 prize pool. However, the team could only manage a fifth to eighth-place finish.

Commenting on the new team Sergeant Clash said, “After an immensely successful 2023 season where we conquered the India region and even made it to the World Finals in Sweden, we are now aiming even higher. With our revamped lineup featuring the talented Menmi and Ken-G, I am confident that we have what it takes to make it to the Brawl Stars World Finals once again despite the tougher format which has decreased the overall number of slots. For now, we are working on increasing our communication and synergy as the 2024 Brawl Stars Championship kicks off.”

Sergeant Clash will be paired with Ken-G and Menmi, two Japanese players who have also been actively competing since 2021. Ken-G has some notable achievements, being a part of the ZETA DIVISION ONE roster previously, where he won the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational and finished second in the World Finals in the same year. Menmi, on the other hand, is a two-time winner of the East Asia Monthly Finals in 2023, previously playing for REJECT, one of the biggest esports orgs from Japan.

Furthermore, Kizuki is set to be the team’s analyst, having previously offered his services to some of the most notable names in competitive Brawl Stars esports including SK Gaming and Aphelion Esports.

Rohit Jagasia, the Founder and CEO of Revenant Esports, said, “For the 2024 esports season, Supercell has made some changes to the Brawl Stars ecosystem by merging the India region with the larger APAC region. As a result, it was imperative for us to scout talent from the entire region and we landed on Ken-G and Menmi, who along with Sergeant Clash perfectly complement each other. Both players are from Japan, and having competed in the East Asia region, which continues to be one of the toughest in Brawl Stars esports, bring a wealth of crucial experience which will help this team reach new heights.”

The Revenant Esports Brawl Stars roster will begin its journey in the 2024 Brawl Stars Championship this month with the APAC Monthly Qualifier. They will be competing throughout the year to make it to the 2024 World Finals, which will have a prize pool of up to $2 million.
