The Star Wars franchise has recently launched a free-to-play mobile shooter, Star Wars: Hunters developed by Zynga. The game features multiple characters with unique skills and abilities. Being a fast-paced game, some players found it difficult to play with touch controls on mobile.

How to use Controller in Star Wars: Hunters?

Using a controller in Star Wars: Hunters is very easy. All you have to do is connect a controller to your mobile and launch the game. If the controller you connected is compatible, Star Wars: Hunters will automatically detect it.

Even with compatible controllers, you still have to use touch controls in some menus of the game as the controller support is developed for gameplay only except for some menus. Here is the list of menus where controllers will work:

Ever since its release in August 2023, Baldur’s Gate 3 has captivated a sizable player base. The game has also won many awards including the ‘Game of the Year 2023’ award. With that being said, Baldur’s Gate 3 has recently announced modding support for PlayStation and Xbox players.

Let’s take a look and understand how Baldur’s Gate 3 console modding support would work.

Official Mod Support for Baldur’s Gate 3

The developers of the game, Larian Studios made an announcement on June 3, 2023, about the upcoming patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3. In this patch, Larian Studios has confirmed Official Mod Support for the game along with some other updates and improvements. 

While the PC players had access to third-party mods ever since the game’s release, console players did not have any modding support due to platform restrictions. The introduction of Official Mod Support ensures that players on PlayStation and Xbox would also get modding support.

The developers have also confirmed that the mod support will be provided through Mod.io. As explained in the official patch notes by the developers, “Mod.io allows us(Larian Studios) to bring modding support to all platforms, and provides the necessary infrastructure to allow you to download mods on both PC and Console, manage uploaded mods, host guides, and provide a level of content moderation to keep the community safe.”

Difference between Mod support on PC and Consoles

Larian Studios has confirmed that along with installing mods, PC players will be able to use the official modding toolkit to create mods for Baldur’s Gate 3. On the other hand, players on PlayStation and Xbox will not have any access to mod creation but will be able to install curated mods to use in the game. PC players will still have the ability to use third-party mods.

When will the patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3 Release?

As of now, the developers of the game have not confirmed any specific date but they have confirmed that patch 7 will be released in September 2024.

How to unlock Microcosm?

While there is nothing special you would have to do to unlock Microcosm, it will take some time. All you are required to do is complete all campaign missions which should unlock some Exotic Quests which reward Microcosm on completion.

As mentioned earlier, The Final Shape expansion comes with a ton of new content in the game, which means that it will take some time for you to complete all campaign missions before you can take on the Exotic Quests.

Microcosm Perks

Now that you know how to unlock Microcosm, let’s take a look and understand the perks offered by this heavy kinetic tracer rifle:

  • Paracausal Beam Intrinsic Trait
    • This trait is very useful against shields as it features bonus damage to shields. This is achieved by shooting a beam of kinetic light that deals a lot of damage.
  • Paracausal Imbuement Trait
    • This trait provides Microcosm Super energy when you kill an enemy with it. Once your Super runs out the gun gains even more damage dealing capability.
  • Element
    • This weapon harnesses its energy from the Kinetic Element.

The best you can do right now is focus on completing all campaign missions in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. The faster you complete the campaign missions, the faster you can get your hands on Microcosm.

Cardi B Under Fire for “Job Shaming” McDonald’s Employee

The American rapper Cardi B has drawn criticism for allegedly “job shaming” a McDonald’s employee by demanding him to “get off” his break and give her a cheeseburger.

Following a string of remarks on X (previously Twitter) where users accused the 31-year-old of “job shaming,” Cardi B found herself under fire. After calling her speech patterns a “multimillion-dollar accent,” the rapper received backlash from an X user, who told her to “get off Twitter and get in the booth.”

She then added, “Get off your break and make me a cheeseburger” — which sparked the controversy as Cardi got slammed for job shaming.

Cardi B has defended her comment stating she only meant for him to go and do his job while she focuses on hers. According to her, her comment had nothing to do with job shaming, it was simply encouraging one another.

XDefiant Y1S0.2 Patch Notes

XDefiant has hit the ground running with millions flocking in to try Riot’s latest first-person shooter, which can dent the player base of CS2 and Valorant.

With any new game, XDefiant is far from perfect and remains unoptimized in more areas than one but the developers have been all ears, and requests from the community are quickly being worked on.

The latest patch notes show that the developers have taken significant issues that have been plaguing them and fixed them in the newest update.

Social

  • While in a party, we now display the most restrictive Crossplay setting among the party members, as it applies to the whole party. Also fixed an issue where party members with differing Crossplay settings couldn’t matchmake.
  • Fixed an issue with displaying incorrect player names on some Social screens.
  • Fixed a crash caused by spamming open/close View Party Invites, but who would even do that, calm down.
  • On consoles, Ubisoft Connect party invites could display as if they were coming from Xbox or PlayStation Network friends. Fixed that, along with some other weird invite-related things.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed some missing terrain textures when players joined matches in progress on some maps.
  • Input-based matchmaking setting status now updates correctly after changing it on Xbox.
  • Fixed a thing on PS5 where people could sneak into places they shouldn’t via PS5 Activities.
  • Security improvements, various.

With the introduction of Crownfall Act 2, Sand Fishing was added to Dota 2. However, the Sand fishing quest is not available at first on the Deserts of Druud map. So let’s take a look and understand how you can unlock the Sand Fishing quest in Dota 2: Crownfall Act 2.

How to Unlock Sand Fishing in Dota 2?

To unlock Sand Fishing quest, you first need to complete the Oasis Fishing Quest at the bottom left of Deserts of Druud map. The Oasis Fishing Quest is similar to the fishing game from Act 1. Your aim here is to achieve a score of 10,000 which will reward you a Strange Spear Token.

Obtaining the Strange Spear Token will open up a path south of the Oasis Fishing Quest. You can now unlock the path to Sand Fishing Quest using the Strange Spear Token.

How to complete the Sand Fishing Quest?

Sand Fishing is very similar to the Oasis Fishing Quest. The only difference here is that you are using a spear to catch the fishes in sand. First you need to throw the spear accurately in the path of the fishes that are moving very fast. Throwing the spear directly on top of the fish won’t help you, so it is advised to aim a little ahead in the path of the fish.

Once you have speared a fish successfully, you now have to keep the fish icon in the green section. Sounds easy, right? But it’s not, the fish icon quickly moves up and down in the bar and you have to move the green section up and down to match the fish icon. The fish icon can change direction rapidly but the green section you are controlling does not have the same agility.

Sand Fishing Rewards

A challenging quest usually have something special rewarding on completion. But not Sand Fishing. The rewards here are considered to be very mediocre for the efforts you put into completing the Sand Fishing Quest. Here is a list rewards for completing Sand Fishing Quest:

  • 4000 Score: 1x Random Token
  • 7000 Score: 2x Random Token
  • 10000 Score: 3x Random Token

Clearly, this quest is not for the faint of heart. However, for some players there is nothing more satisfying than 100% completion. If that’s who you are then you should absolutely go for this quest.

The notification, dated 2024-06-01, cites a history of malpractice as the basis for the imposed ban. Based on the player’s history of cheating, we have banned this player for 10 years and removed all illicitly obtained benefits. Scarletthorn is a crucial material in Wuthering Waves, used primarily for crafting weapons. This guide will help you locate Scarletthorn throughout Huanglong and provide details on the weapons you can create with it.

Scarletthorn Location

Scarletthorn is an ore-like material that can only be obtained by mining it from specific locations in Wuthering Waves. It appears as crimson-hued mineral clusters with sharp, needle-like formations, typically found on rocky surfaces alongside other ores like Floramber.

Key Locations to Find Scarletthorn

  1. Whining Aix’s Mire: This area is rich in Scarletthorn, with around 13 ore spots near the top and 14 along the southern route.
  2. Dim Forest: You can find approximately 30 ore spots along the path above.
  3. Central Plains: Start at the village to find four ore spots, then head northeast to find eight more.
  4. Desorock Highland: This area has around 21 ore spots along the route.
  5. Tiderise Cliffs and Court of Savantae Ruins: These locations are also known for their Scarletthorn clusters.
  6. Gorges of Spirit and Nostalgia Isle: Additional areas where Scarletthorn can be found.

To mine Scarletthorn, simply attack the deposit with your basic attacks or Resonance Skills.
