The biggest feature to be added to Hogwarts Legacy in the next update is a Photo Mode. This Photo Mode is easy enough for someone who just wants to take normal photos in the game. However, if you are looking to spice up your photos in Hogwarts Legacy, the photo mode has tons of advanced options allowing greater customisation. Earlier you would have to stick with the Talents you had purchased with Talent Points as there was no way to reset the Talents. However, with this update, you can now reset your Talents in Hogwarts Legacy and get the refund of the Talent Points you spent on it. Either you can reset one specific Talent at the cost of 200 Gold or can reset all Talents with the cost depending on how many Talents you have already purchased.

Haunted Hogsmeade Quest Unlocked

Haunted Hogsmeade Quest was released as a PlayStation Exclusive. However, with the new update, Haunted Hogsmeade Quest will now be available to all platforms the game supports. To unlock this quest, you need to find Penny the House Elf sweeping in Hogsmeade after Winter begins.

EMEA Masters Summer Split 2024: New Format and Schedule

Riot Games has finally heard from the League of Legends Community and decided to make some changes to the format for EMEA Masters Summer Split 2024. The updated format will see 60 teams competing for the title. Let’s check out EMEA Masters Summer Split 2024 format.

Slot Distribution

In the new format, all accredited ERLs will receive 6 slots each, where the top 3 from each league will directly qualify for the Swiss Stage while the next 3 will qualify for the Last Chance Qualifiers(LCQ). On the other hand Non-accredited ERLs will get 4 slots each. The number of teams from non-accredited ERLs qualifying into the Swiss Stage and the LCQ stage, will depend on the respective ERLs performance at recent EM events.

Last Chance Qualifiers(LCQ)

With the regional protection applied, the LCQ will start on July 31 and run until August 2. Here the 32 teams will be split randomly in 4 groups. The first two rounds of the LCQ will feature best-of-three matches, while the final round (Round 3) will see teams compete in a best-of-five match to qualify for the Swiss Stage. Only 4 teams from LCQ will move to the Swiss Stage

Swiss Stage

Here the 4 teams qualified from LCQ will meet the directly qualified 28 teams from ERLs. This stage will start on August 5 and run until August 13. During this stage, all teams will try to secure at least 4 wins to qualify for Playoffs. Any team that loses 4 time will automatically be eliminated.

Teams will compete in best-of-one matches until the qualification/elimination matches, then the format will switch to best-of-three matches. From the Swiss Stage, 16 teams will then advance to Playoffs.

Here teams will have no second chances, meaning if you lose even 1 match, you are out. The stage will run from August 15 to August 22. The EMEA Masters Summer Split 2024 Final will be on August 30.

With that being said, this will be an action-packed championship offering entertainment all the way from July 31 to August 30. May the best team win.

Call of Duty: MW3 and Warzone may join Esports World Cup 2024

In recent reports, Call of Duty MW3 and Warzone are suspected to have been added to the roster of games in the Esports World Cup which is set to kick off on July 3, 2024. The Activision games in the Esports World Cup are suspected to have a collective prize pool of almost $3 Million.

This reveal comes after a post on X by Popular Esports Journalist from Dexerto, Jacob Hale revealed the HTML lines he uncovered from the Esports World Cup’s official website before they were deleted.

The uncovered HTML lines suggested that Call of Duty: Warzone matches will start on July 3 and run until July 6 with a prize pool of $1 Million. On the other hand, Call of Duty: MW3 matches would start on August 15 and run until August 18 with a prize pool of $1.8 Million.

Jacob’s post read “Sources: Call of Duty could feature at the Esports World Cup, with tournaments in both MW3 and Warzone totalling an almost $3m prize pool.” He further explained, “These lines of HTML were found on the tournament’s website this morning before being deleted & I’ve verified with several sources.”

While there is no official statement yet from Activision or Esports World Cup, it is likely that we will see some announcement coming soon. The official website for the Esports World Cup already mentions that they will be announcing more games soon.

BGIS 2024 Semifinals Week 1 features 32 teams, consisting of 16 teams that advanced from Round 4 and 16 teams that secured their spots through the Wildcard Entry. These teams are divided into four groups, each containing eight teams. Over the course of four days, these groups will compete in a round-robin format. By the end of the week, the top 8 teams, based on their overall performance, will earn a direct entry to the Grand Finals. At the moment of writing, Wuthering Waves still has more Resonators coming to the game. The upcoming Resonator Jinhsi, will be voiced by Jian Yue in Chinese, Aoyama Yoshino in Japanese, and Park Hyajin in Korean. However, the developers haven’t announced the English voice actor for Jinshi.

Counter Strike 2 Pro nbgee12 Banned For Stealing Pro SSDs

ESL/FACEIT have recently banned the 19 year old Counter Strike 2 pro player, Adam ‘nbgee12’ Zanzoul. The reason for the ban was confirmed after nbgee12 confessed to “taking stuff’ that he wasn’t supposed to during IEM Dallas. Let’s take a look at why this 19 year old CS2 pro player was banned by ESL/FACEIT.

The incident came to light when nbgee12 confessed on CoJoMo’s live stream when the 19 year old was asked about his ban. nbgee12 confessed to being allowed in the venue(IEM Dallas) at night and then ‘taking’ SSDs belonging to Stewie2k, NiKo and NertZ. In the stream, CoJoMo talked about a five year ban, however this five year ban was later changed to a permanent ban by ESL. After the ban, nbgee12’s FACEIT page now reflects a ‘BANNED FOR UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT’ tag.

The 19 year old has not disclosed the intentions behind taking the SSDs. Later on in the stream he went on to explain that no excuse would justify his actions but he was ‘super sleep deprived, hungry and under influence.’ ESL/FACEIT chose the ban hammer as SSDs that nbgee12 took were the ones used by players during IEM Dallas.

Regardless of the reasoning behind taking the SSDs, nbgee12 was detained by the authorities on May 31. It is important to note that this is not the first rodeo for nbgee12. He was earlier banned by FACEIT Pro League for attempted match-fixing which resulted in a 100 years long ban. But that ban was lifted by ESL due to a change in policies. Just 60 days after the old was lifted and nbgee12 has found himself facing a permanent ban.

With the ban, ESL/FACEIT have shown their commitment to preserving the integrity of the game and maintaining an environment of fair-practices. Needless to say, nbgee12 won’t be participating in any ESL/FACEIT events any time soon.
