In a recent teaser video, Riot Games announced a number of changes coming to Valorant in Episode 9 Act 3. These changes include buffs to Phoenix, the new TDM map ‘Glitch’, new skin lines, and more. However, the change that has caught the community’s attention the most is the introduction of ‘Regen Shields,’ which is set to arrive in the competitive shooter with the Patch 9.10 update.

While the exact functionality of this new type of shield is yet to be disclosed by the devs, we can get a decent idea of what these shields will do by taking a look at the clip.

What are Regen Shields in Valorant?

From the initial looks at the teaser trailer for Valorant Episode 9 Act 3, it appears that Regen Shield is an alternative (or a replacement) to the currently existing ‘Heavy Shields’ that recharge over time.

The Counter-Strike 2 BLAST Premier World Final 2024, which will take place at Singapore’s Resorts World Convention Centre, is being organized by BLAST in collaboration with the gaming web browser Opera GX.

The final Counter-Strike 2 tournament on BLAST’s 2024 schedule is the BLAST Premier World Final. From 2025, BLAST will inherit a new format as the whole landscape of the tournament will likely get altered which might introduce a few new sponsors.

Sometimes, your ISP routes your network through regions that aren’t optimal for Counter-Strike but there is little you can do to fix it. A weird issue has been haunting Counter-Strike 2 players from throughout the world recently, rendering them unable to properly play the game after the last update.

Since the last CS2 update, several players have resorted to various social media forums to express their frustration at the recent drop in the game’s performance.

As per player reports, they would experience random lag spikes where the game would skip frames and they would get teleported to a different spot.

Renowned CS2 pro and Falcons Esports star Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen has also brought this issue to light in one of his recent X (formerly Twitter) posts.

According to the 31-year-old, he has been noticing “severe packet loss” for a few minutes every day. He further claimed that he has tried out several solutions to fix this problem, but none of them seem to have worked.

This has led many players to believe that the issue lies with Valve’s servers, rather than being an individual problem.

Valve has yet to address the players’ concerns regarding the random lag spikes in CS2.
