GodLike Esports’ Successful Run in the Snapdragon COD Mobile Pro Series Season 6 India

The tournament was divided into two phases—the Challenge Season and the Challenge Finals. The Challenge Season took place between 11th and 27th October, where eight teams from the Open Finals, along with two invited teams, competed for a spot in the finals. Following this, the top six teams from the Challenge Season advanced to the Challenge Finals, held from 15th to 17th November .

The Challenge Finals featured two groups of three teams each, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Playoffs. Following this, GodLike Esports and XLR8 secured spots in the Grand Finals. In a remarkable show of dominance, GodLike defeated XLR8 4-0, claiming the top prize and leaving no doubt about their skill and strategy.

The tournament awarded the following cash prizes to the top three teams:

  • 1st place: GodLike Esports, earning ₹10 lakh ($12,784.43)
  • 2nd place: XLR8, with ₹5.8 lakh ($6,865.71)
  • 3rd place: Anthem, winning ₹3.5 lakh ($4,143.10)

The remaining seven teams also earned cash prizes.

The victory marks another milestone for GodLike Esports, further solidifying their position as one of the top teams in COD Mobile esports. As the team struggled a bit in the COD Mobile World Championship 2024, this win will help the team to get back on its feet for the upcoming challenges.

World of Warcraft Celebrates 30 Years: A Look at the Exciting 2025 Roadmap

0

The Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct brought a wave of exciting announcements as the franchise celebrated three decades of player engagement. Among the highlights was a sneak peek into what players can expect in 2025 for World of Warcraft.

Blizzard is making a concerted effort to be more transparent about their plans for the beloved MMO, detailing the new content set to arrive next year. With only a few major surprises left, this is the furthest the community has ever been able to look ahead with any degree of certainty.

2025 promises to be a busy year, with several major patches planned before the full reveal of Midnight, the upcoming expansion. Here’s everything you need to know about the WoW roadmap for 2025.

A look at World of Warcraft’s 2025: War within – roadmap

World of Warcraft

Patch 11.0.7

Starting in 2024, players will embark on an adventure to the Siren Isle with this patch. Alongside a wealth of new storylines and rewards, the Turbulent Timeways event is returning. First introduced in Dragonflight, this event features consecutive weeks of Timewalking dungeons, complete with all the rewards to earn.

Players will have the chance to obtain Cyrce’s Circlet, an upgradeable ring that works similarly to the Cloak of Infinite Potential from WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. Additionally, all of WoW’s traditional holiday celebrations are making a return.

The plunderstorm returns

WoW’s only attempt at a Battle Royale is back after a successful first run. This time, players will have the option to use a related store to earn their rewards, removing the need to grind through the Renown system.

Patch 11.1

Set to launch in late Winter of 2024, Patch 11.1 will kick off Season 2 of The War Within, titled Undermine(d). This update will introduce a brand new zone, a new raid called The Liberation of Undermine, and a new dungeon named Operation: Floodgate.

There will also be enhancements to the existing Delve offerings, allowing players to choose to align with one of four Goblin Cartels. It’s still unclear if this will mirror the much-maligned Covenant system from Shadowlands, but the developers are aware of player feedback and are likely to take a different approach.

Patch 11.1.5

Fans of Battle for Azeroth will remember the Horrific Visions of N’Zoth, which are making a comeback to challenge the community once again. Although N’Zoth has been defeated, The War Within’s focus on the Void provides a rich backdrop for what was once a beloved game mode.

This patch introduces a new content piece called Nightfall (not related to Destiny). The details surrounding this content are still unclear, but it might serve as the expansion’s megadungeon or a larger repeatable activity.

Patch 11.2

Kicking off Season 3, Patch 11.2 is as significant as the community expects. While we await Blizzard’s official confirmation on the specifics, it promises a new zone, fresh World Events, a new raid, a new dungeon, and updates to the Warband system and Brewfest.

Finally, the Midnight Expansion reveal

Set to launch in August 2025, Blizzard plans to reveal the next expansion – Midnight. The storyline has remained largely under wraps since its announcement at Blizzcon 2023, but it is expected to be a crucial part of the overarching narrative known as The Worldsoul Saga.

Patch 11.2.5

Patch 11.2.5, a relatively minor update, will include all the necessary system updates and improvements from previous patches. It will also mark the 21st Anniversary of the MMO, likely featuring celebrations and rewards for players to enjoy.

Patch 11.2.7

This patch could serve as a narrative lead-up to the next expansion’s launch, depending on whether Blizzard opts for a Patch 11.3. Given the fast-paced expansion schedule, that seems unlikely, making 11.2.7 the perfect chance to link The War Within and Midnight.

The mysterious rune

At the very end of the journey, after the release of 11.2.7, there’s a mysterious runic symbol. Blizzard has used similar hints in the past (like when they teased Plunderstorm with the skull and crossbones), but this probably doesn’t point to a timed event.  Instead, the main theory is that this could indicate the arrival of player housing in Hearthstone. Blizzard confirmed player housing during the 30th Anniversary Direct, but this feature isn’t anticipated until Midnight launches, which creates a bit of a timeline discrepancy.

For now, that’s all we know about the roadmap. As more details come to light, we will keep bringing you the latest updates here at Talkesport.

No Arcane Season 3, But Riot Games Promises More Entertainment Projects

Mark Merrill, co-founder of Riot Games, announced that Season 3 of Arcane has been canceled as the team looks to explore different universes, countering rumors that they plan to leave the entertainment industry.

Despite Arcane being one of the most expensive animated series ever made, it has also seen tremendous success. Both Seasons 1 and 2 topped the Netflix charts upon their release, captivating long-time fans and attracting new viewers who were drawn to the League of Legends universe.

While the news of Arcane not continuing with a Season 3 disappointed many, Mark Merrill offered clarification in response to a fan’s concerns:

“Cuz there are lots of other stories to tell,” was what he had to say. It’s hard to argue with that, seeing as the world behind League of Legends is massive. He also claimed that he’d be willing to invest more into League of Legends lore within the game itself if the team is “able to hit the right bar.”

Given that League of Legends lags behind Arcane in terms of narrative development, a deeper dive into the game’s lore would certainly be welcomed by its community. However, in another response, Merrill hinted at reasons for optimism regarding a new television series in the works.

Also in another source, Mark went on to say, “Our ambitions in entertainment haven’t changed. We were never intending to operate like a traditional studio with traditional timelines. What did change as we learned more was our expectations of ourselves: We realized that getting it right takes a lot more time than we’d originally expected, and so we recalibrated our development, output goals, and teams with that in mind.”

He also urged fans to disregard “naysayers” about the production costs of Arcane, stressing that such concerns wouldn’t deter Riot from pursuing more series, thus keeping the door open for a new show set in the League of Legends universe. It may take some time before it becomes a reality.

What Happend at PW Shanghai Major Europe RMR Group A on Opening Day?

The first day of European RMR has produced some exciting matches, but the results were anything but surprising. The big names most often pushed it over the line, while the underdogs were left with their backs against the wall.

MOUZ, Vitality, NAVI, and FaZe managed to win both their games on the opening day. MOUZ contained their dominating form while NAVI and Vitality looked as shaky as they were in the recent tournaments. FaZe despite starting the day with a comfortable win, struggled in their second game but managed to walk away with a 2-0 scoreline.

Big names like Fnatic, Cloud9, and Falcons performed well but not to their usual standards. Expectations are high on Falcons post s1mple’s arrival but they have failed to deliver on the expectations and now they sit with a 1-1 scoreline. While 1-1 is not the worst scoreline following the conclusion of Day 1 of the RMR, it should trigger the warning bells with a Major qualification on the line.

Underdogs such as Sangal, Nemiga, and Sinner had a tough time but there is still a chance that they make it to the Major. With a few days of action left in this group, there is still a chance for teams who are 0-2 down after the opening day.

While opening day results do not give a clear picture of the future it gives teams the edge and confidence to perform further down the line. Teams that are 2-0 up will play with more confidence and less pressure while the teams with 0-2 will have it the other way.

Qualifying early gives teams the chance to get a few more days of practice in without opening up their playbook for the world to see. This time allows them to study their opponents, iron out wrinkles in their strategies and adapt according to the next opposition but not walking away with a 3-0 score in RMR doesn’t indicate a team’s success at the Major.

How to View Fortnite Replays?

Many gamers may not realize that they can watch match replays in Fortnite. The game includes a built-in feature that allows players to go back and review the entire match from different perspectives and angles.

This functionality is crucial for developing strategies and enhancing gameplay skills. In fact, most professional players take advantage of this feature after matches to analyze their opponents.

Coaching teams also utilize Fortnite replays to train their players and point out any mistakes made during the game. This process helps both coaches and players to refine their strategies and improve their performance in future matches. With that in mind, here’s how to access replays in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.

How to Watch Replays in Fortnite?

How to View Fortnite Replays

Follow the steps mentioned below to watch replays in the latest update of Fortnite:

Step 1

To get started, launch the game and head to the “Careers” section. It’s easy to locate, right next to the tab displaying your current V-Bucks balance. Once you’re there, click on the “Replays” option to see all the recent matches you’ve played.

Step 2

In the “Replays” section, you can choose which match to watch again. Keep in mind that replays may become corrupted or outdated when a new season starts. You can play an Unsaved Replay, but it’s a good idea to save it if you think you’ll need it later. When you’re ready, just click on any replay to get started.

Step 3

Once the replay is loaded, you’ll be able to watch Fortnite replays. You can look at the action from various angles, spectate other players, and access map details like player locations and their density at specific Points of Interest (POIs).

As mentioned, this feature is extremely helpful for analyzing matches and gaining valuable insights for improvement. For casual gamers, there’s also plenty to enjoy beyond just analysis.  You can disable the HUD to take beautiful screenshots without any user interface.

Depending on your game settings and the capabilities of your GPU (like the RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti), you can even capture 4K screenshots.  Lastly, watching replays in Fortnite can assist you in identifying and reporting hackers. It can be tough to spot them during a match because of their cheating — this footage can then be submitted to Epic Games for their banning.

Do You Need Xbox Live to Play Fortnite?

0

Fortnite, a legendary battle royale game, has built a massive global following. One of its standout features is that it’s free to play on multiple gaming platforms. Xbox users might be wondering if they need Xbox Live to enjoy Fortnite. Let’s explore the relationship between Fortnite and Xbox Live, clarifying whether an Xbox Live Gold membership is necessary, how to play with friends, and what it’s like to experience Fortnite on Xbox One!

Do you need XBOX Live to play Fortnite?

In the past, having an Xbox Live membership was crucial for Fortnite players on Xbox. However, this requirement changed in April 2021. Many players questioned why a subscription was needed for a free game. Xbox Live was originally created for online multiplayer gaming, but it has since transformed into the more comprehensive Xbox Game Pass.

Previously, Xbox Live Gold was essential to play Fortnite, even though it was free on other platforms, leading to an inconsistent experience. Fortunately, Microsoft reassessed this policy, allowing Fortnite to be played by everyone without needing an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

This change also applies to other free-to-play games and permits access to Xbox Party Chat without any fees.

But how about Fortnite with friends without XBOX live?

Wondering if Xbox Live is needed to play Fortnite with friends? The answer is a clear no. As long as your friends are on your Epic friend list, you can enjoy Fortnite together, no matter which gaming platform you’re on. The combination of Xbox and Fortnite is fantastic, blending the vast online multiplayer community of Xbox Live with the thrilling action of Fortnite. With the removal of the Xbox Live Gold requirement, you can now jump into Fortnite’s exciting adventures without any additional costs.

Great news for Xbox One owners: you can now enjoy free-to-play games like Fortnite without needing an Xbox Live subscription. The previous requirement to have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription to play Fortnite and other free-to-play games has been removed. This change means that players can enjoy a free game without having to pay a subscription fee, no matter how long they play Fortnite.

Do you need XBOX live to play Fortnite across platforms?

The elimination of the Xbox Live membership requirement for Fortnite on Xbox allows for cross-platform gameplay. This is significant because it enables console players to enjoy Fortnite for free while connecting with users on other platforms. Until April 2021, having Xbox Live was mandatory for this game, even though Fortnite has always been free-to-play.

To start playing Fortnite on your Xbox Series X or S, keep in mind that it is only available digitally. You won’t find a physical copy in stores. Simply connect your Xbox Series X or S to the internet and follow these steps to begin your Fortnite adventure:

  • Power on your XBOX Series X or S, ensuring you have an active internet connection
  • Log in to your XBOX network account, if you haven’t already
  • Open the guide by pressing the large X button in the center of your controller
  • Navigate to the store icon at the bottom of the guide
  • Look for Fortnite using the search icon
  • Click on “get” or the “install” button to queue for the download
  • Once completed, you can access Fortnite through the My Games and Apps

In conclusion, Xbox Live is no longer needed for Fortnite on Xbox, making it easier for gamers to access this beloved title without an Xbox Live Gold subscription. With crossplay features and easy access to Fortnite on Xbox, you can jump into the action and play with friends across different platforms. If you haven’t yet experienced the thrill of Fortnite on your Xbox, now is the perfect time to give it a try. Just be sure to get acquainted with the controls and gameplay tips before diving into Fortnite’s exciting battle royale world.

Pizza Hut’s “PIZZAWRMR” Uses PS5 Heat to Keep Pizza Warm

0

Pizza Hut Canada has a new idea called the “PIZZAWRMR.” It’s a fun tool that uses heat from a PlayStation 5 to keep pizza warm. Gamers often have cold meals because they get busy playing games like Call of Duty or Fortnite. The PIZZAWRMR sits on top of the console and uses the PS5’s heat to warm your pizza.

Gamers and pizza fans can download the PIZZAWRMR design for free and 3D print it. Pizza Hut showed pictures of this device on a PS5. People with different consoles, like the PS5 Slim, Pro, or Xbox, might change the design to fit their devices. This idea made a lot of fans happy online. People joked about the PS5’s noise during games and really liked the device’s creativity. One called it a “microwave for the modern gamer.”

Gaming and Dining Come Together

PIZZAWRMR

While many people like the idea, some worry about needing a 3D printer. Fans want Pizza Hut to sell ready-made PIZZAWRMRs. This could help Pizza Hut get more customers.

This fun product follows other unusual launches by big food brands. For instance, McDonald’s Canada launched the “Bestie Bundle” with friendship bracelets, mixing food with lifestyle products.

The PIZZAWRMR shows how gaming and eating can mix in fun ways. It connects with Pizza Hut’s customers and starts talks about more creative mixes between games and daily life.

In short, the PIZZAWRMR highlights creative branding by turning simple heat use into a big idea. Whether Pizza Hut decides to sell this is unclear. However, it has definitely warmed the hearts – and pizzas – of many gamers.
