Valorant Mobile Pre Registration begins on TapTap

TapTap, a third-party application store has enlisted Valorant Mobile as an upcoming title and has started pre-registration process for this game. Riot Games has not confirmed about the development of Valorant Mobile yet but still, the pre-registration is already open on TapTap.

Riot Games expanded their portfolio by the announcement of multiple titles including Valorant and LOL: Wild Rift on the occasion of their 10 year anniversary. Valorant was launched soon afterwards and became insanely popular within the player base.

After the successful launch of PUBG Mobile and COD Mobile, other developers also ventured into mobile gaming and recreated their pre-existing games. Games such as Wild Rift has enjoyed tremendous success since its open beta phase and some reports suggested that Riot Games has already started to develop another mobile title.

Riot has created mobile versions of League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra and now, there is a possibility that Valorant Mobile is under development. In a report by IGN India, sources close to Riot Games stated that Valorant Mobile is being developed and might be announced at E3 2021, which is around mid-June.

These developments have almost confirmed that Valorant Mobile is coming but an official announcement is yet to be made. TapTap has still acted ahead of time and enlisted Valorant Mobile on their marketplace. This website is a third-party application store which provides various mobile games which might not be available on Google Play or Apple App store due to regional barrier.

The listing includes both Android and iOS devices and currently, more than 45,000 registrations have already been made. Even though a pre-registration process has begun on TapTap, this does not confirm that Valorant Mobile is coming anytime soon. Riot Games is yet to publish any statement regarding this matter.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Gameplay may be made in China

Krafton has planned to return to one of its biggest markets by the relaunch of PUBG Mobile in India with a newer and localized version called Battlegrounds Mobile India. This announcement has created a new wave of hype in Indian PUBG Mobile community but reports suggest that this game shares a lot of similarities with Peacekeeper Elite, the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile.

According to a report by IGN India, Battlegrounds Mobile India may not be a completely new game developed for India. Rather, the “source code of this new game would be similar to PUBG Mobile and Peacekeeper Elite”. Both of these titles are developed by Chinese company Tencent and hence, Battlegrounds Mobile India might share similar connections.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is certainly a regional version of PUBG Mobile but it has not shared any connections with Tencent so far. The report draws similarities between Peacekeeper Elite and Battlegrounds Mobile India and they are as follows:

The blood splash colour in Peacekeeper Elite is also set as green by default to comply with the rules and regulations against violence in China. The theme of game was also changed in the Chinese version where Peacekeeper Elite simulates “army training situations”, rather than the original battle-royale theme.

The report also cites a statement made by Nico Partners’ Daniel Ahmed which emphasizes on the similarities between these two games. As per Daniel Ahmed, “Tencent, which develops and publishes Peacekeeper Elite in China, has also added an anti-addiction system to the game as per regulations. This requires players to register with their real name and ID before they can start playing the game. If the player is under the age of 18 they will be subject to time and spend restrictions within the game. China’s game regulator has mandated this since the end of 2019 in an effort to curb gaming addiction among the youth.”

A similar system has been implemented in Battlegrounds Mobile India as well. The revised privacy policy and terms of service includes the changes mentioned above. Underage players have less control over game now as they require the permission of their guardians while registering to Battlegrounds Mobile India.

These similarities suggest that Battlegrounds Mobile India share several similarities with Chinese PUBG Mobile and hence can have connections with Tencent for its development, as per IGN India report.

Resident Evil Village expands on Biohazard’s semi-open world formula but this time it also introduces hunting elements to the series in a much bigger way. 

After the first boss, you are able to hunt and obtain Fish, Poultry, and Meat ingredients but do not sell them to The Duke, even though you can. 

These ingredients can be used to cook various dishes which increases Ethan’s health, stamina and block durability.

Fish Location 1 & 2 – Castle 

Right after the castle boss fight, you’ll find yourself inside a cave where you’ll come across two fishes, you cannot return to this area so be sure to grab them immediately. 

Similarly, you can find three more fishes outside Lady Dimitrescu’s castle, next to the bridge that is now raised. Simply use a knife to collect them.

Fish Location 3 & 4 – Moreau’s Reservoir

After getting out of Moreau’s tunnel, you’ll have to get onto a boat to get to the other side of the water. Once you disembark, head straight right into the cave instead of going inside the tent to your left since the area won’t be accessible after the cutscene that appears once you enter it.

Once you drain the reservoir, return to the area where you first embarked on the boat (near the treasure chest). Go around the windmill and you can find some fishes at the pool at the bottom.

Finest Fish Location – Where to find Finest Fish in Resident Evil Village

Once you obtain the crank, head to the drawbridge near the Ceremony site where you can lower it using the crank and you’ll come across a boat once again. Head downstream and disembark, take the path to your left (the cave entrance should be to your right), and you’ll find the Finest fish floating inside a pond.

Now that you have all the Fish ingredients, head to The Duke to complete your dishes, provided you’ve enough Meat or Poultry.

How does Game Save work in the new Pokémon Snap?

New Pokemon Snap is the latest game in the Pokemon franchise released by Nintendo on 30th April 2021. The New Pokémon Snap is an all-new game inspired by the 1999 Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap. 

Now Available on Nintendo Switch, travel through the Lental Region filled with various islands from dense jungles to waste deserts. Travel from island to island in search of many Pokémons and photograph each of them to build your very own Pokémon Photodex.

While you are busy snapping pictures of unique Pokémons, don’t worry about your snaps as saving your game in New Pokémon Snap is very straightforward. The New Pokémon Snap features an autosave function indicated by a small grey Pokéball icon appearing on the top right of the screen. Any time the icon flashes your progress will be saved. 

The autosave function will work each time you return to the Research Camp after an expedition. You need to wait for Professor Mirror to rate your photographs, then choose any that you’d like to be saved (or re-snapped) and once this is complete, the game will save your progress and move you back to the main Research Camp menu. 

It is important to note that you can’t manually save your progress in New Pokemon Snap while in the middle of an expedition. So make sure to complete each expedition fully and getting your snaps rated before quitting or else you will have to start the whole expedition again. 

Also, note that as with every Nintendo Switch game, putting the console in sleep mode won’t cause you to lose progress while in the middle of an expedition. You can recover from sleep mode mid-way through your expedition and keep playing. Although, closing the game or powering down the console will stop any progress from being saved, so keep your chargers nearby.

Popular Twitch Streamer WillNeff Unbanned After 2 Days

Popular Twitch streamer William “WillNeff” Neff was unexpectedly banned from Twitch for watching a clip of Samurai Jack on the Official YouTube channel Adult Swim UK while live streaming on Twitch. 

On May 5th, WillNeff’s Twitch unexpectedly disappeared in the middle of his Film Class streaming session that he regularly hosts. In a series of tweets after his disappearance from Twitch, WillNeff expressed his frustration over the unexpected ban for watching an official video. He explained his side of the story and said:

I just got banned for watching a clip of #samuraijack that’s on YouTube on my stream… k

It’s a copyright claim. For a clip, they put on their own YouTube. I don’t understand at all.

He added that he “doesn’t understand” how viewing a clip on an official YouTube Channel results in a copyright strike and a ban. He contemplated the situation and expressed his frustration about the fact that talking about films will result in getting a copyright strike, even if the clips are publicly available from legit and official sources.

His fans also expressed their distrust and disapproval of Twitch’s action and tweeted to support WillNeff. Some fans quickly pointed out about the recent changes in Twitch’s T&C that now let anyone with an account submit copyright claims and said that it must be some troll trying to take down his channel. While it’s all just speculation, it is also true that many streamers have recently faced random copyright strikes on their old streams and live streams. 

Although the ban was quickly lifted by Twitch in just 2 days, the root of the problem remains and the platform has confirmed no changes in the terms to rectify the same. Even if a ban is short-lived, losing viewers and trust will still hurt streamers a lot.

Twitch accused of racism by hot tub streamer ExoHydraX

Hot tub streamer ExoHydraX has accused Twitch of racially discriminating against her when handing out a controversial ban during a stream.

There is no shortage of drama when it comes to hot tub streams, big names of Twitch have publicly despised it for being used as a meta to climb up the ranks. For months now, Twitch has been in hot water regarding the same but they are only keeping a close eye on the situation.

Besides hot tub streams, Hydra is also known for her Call of Duty gameplay. Having recently tried her hand at the hot tub streaming, things turned ugly and was handed a ban. Given there are several streamers who are getting away doing the same, she believes being a woman of color played a part in Twitch’s decision.

“Good luck being black and being a streamer on Twitch,” she said. “I do the exact same content that YT girl do, but yet I get banned but they don’t? Beyond disappointing. THIS ISN’T OK.”.

Even though it is unclear as now that if she was banned solely for broadcasting a hot tub stream or if it was an unintentional wardrobe malfunction on her part that was reported. This is not the first time a streamer was unfairly judged, several streamers suffered a similar fate that goes beyond any race or gender.

Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys has promised a hot tub stream for her birthday with fellow OfflineTV members like Scarra, LilyPichu, and Disguised Toast.

Pokimane has never shied away from criticizing Twitch for unclear ToS that has given rise to the “hot tub” stream meta.

Twitch has been plagued with streamers in swimwear hanging out around swimming pools/bathtubs and interacting with their fans. Though such streamers are housed within the “Just Chatting” category, the insane viewership often lands them on the front page of Twitch.

Before every other streamer on Twitch hopped onto the “Hot Tub” streamer bandwagon, Amouranth was the one to establish it; arguably she was one of the first to exploit the grey area in the ToS but was shortly accused of stealing the idea by Indiefoxx that gave rise to some major drama.

Indiefoxx was very critical of “seeing another streamer copy ‘her’ stream verbatim is disgusting though Amouranth shared a different opinion. Amouranth was overjoyed to see the biggest streamer on Twitch i.e. Pokimane host a hot tub stream, she responded by saying “Yaaaas Queen.”

The stream is scheduled for her birthday and it will be interesting to see how Twitch responds to OTV chilling in a hot tub. Her announcement had mixed opinions from the community thus more drama may be on its way.

In GTA RP,  players stand a chance to create their own character where they can customize the appearance, and induce traits to the same. The idea of role-playing is to talk, act, and proceed as the character you are playing. After the building process, they would have to act as per their character’s background, for example: If you have taken up the Taxi Job, you will have to cruise across the town until you get notified for a pick-up. Just like that, you can RP out as any character provided you define the backstory of the latter and play within the server’s rules.

How to join a GTA RP server?

To join a GTA RP server, all you gotta do is install FiveM, a custom modification for Grand Theft Auto V with custom scripts. Though it isn’t partnered with Rockstar, FiveM is a completely safe tool if you’re looking to Role-play in the game.

NoPixel

NoPixel currently has two clusters of Whitelisting, the first would be Standard Whitelisting followed by Donator Whitelisting.  Standard Whitelisting is currently closed for the community while you still can donate to the server in a bid to fill out the form for the same. You can find out the process over here. Although due to the dense popularity of the server, you might have to be patient for the response to your application. But trust me, once whitelisted, NoPixel holds an unparalleled experience for you in the store.

NewDayRP

NewDayRP is a brand new server with 250 slots. At first, the developers ventured into WWRp (WestWild RP, a roleplaying server for Red Dead Redemption 2) but later, they decided to release a server for GTA 5 too. Currently, they do field a whitelist server with 250 player slots and you would need to get through an application before being eligible to play on the same. 

FrenzyRP

Just like NoPixel and NewDayRP, FrenzyRP is yet another server out there with a mandatory whitelisting procedure. You will have to sign up on the server’s forum and fill out their application if you wish to join the force. 

SVRP (SubversionRP)

SVRP is more like a semi-realistic role-play server and does have a serious roleplay environment. Reach out to their website to know more about their whitelisting process. They have both the options enabled i.e. the Standard whitelisting and Donator Whitelisting as well. 

Department of Justice (DOJRP)

In order to get into the DOJRP server, you might need to wait for months as their window to fill out their applications runs from dates 1-7 of every month. If your application gets denied, you would have to wait until next month to submit yet another one.
