Shroud calls Valorant Ranked Mode “Hot Garbage”

Micheal Grzesiek aka Shroud has some heavy criticism for the matchmaking system imposed by Riot in Valorant, calling it “hot garbage” before asking Riot to fix it.

The ranked mode in Valorant has been subjected to harsh criticism from streamers, pro players, and the player base in general. The limitation placed on the number of players in a lobby in higher ranks was far from appreciated despite the overall popularity of the game.

The forced solo/duo queue in higher ranked games often harms the experience for many. Ever since its beginning in early 2021, players have called for a remedy that is nowhere near. Solo/duo often lands you in a lobby with teammates who are often less willing to give up their comfort zone thus forcing a major luck factor when queuing.

“Literally, ranked is hot garbage because of this duo queue bulls**t. It’s such a bad dynamic,” the streamer said, expressing his full distaste with the mode’s restrictions and how being forced to play with strangers negatively impacts the experience.

“It’s not fun when you’re playing with randoms, [and] it’s also awkward that it’s duo queue because you have a duo pair, another duo pair, and then you have a solo.”

Most of the players resonate with Shroud, given in ranked games above Diamond 2 will make them play with randoms who often find it uncomfortable and are less willing to communicate and coordinate.

Despite the criticism, Riot has only shown efforts to improve the queueing that will tighten the skill gap and improve the experience for the whole player base in general. Riot has some fair points backing their choice but they are not enough to convince most players of their methods.

Purchases mentioned above include everything, from weapon skins to agents, contracts or anything else bought with VP or RP. Valorant offers five free agents at the start and another two when you make some progress but to unlock all ten, it becomes very hard. With refunds, you can exchange Agents by using the refunded points to buy others.

YouTuber Lui Calibre accused of sexually harassing minors

With over 5 million subscribers, YouTuber and streamer Lui Calibre have been accused of abusing his ‘fame’ to sexually harass and assault both minors and girls of age.

Several victims of Lui Calibre have come out with their own stories where they were abused, assaulted, harassed, or cheated by the 36 years old. According to reports, his victim ranges from aged women to underaged minors and “seems to have zero remorse, guilt, or sense of wrongdoing.”.

Twitter user who goes by the handle @syanne77 and one of Calibre’s victims has put together the stories of eight women who came to her with their own narrative of Lui Calibre harassing them and believes that “no doubt there are even more out there who have not spoken up.”.

“Lui has a consistent record of using his fame and following to lure young, vulnerable fans into ‘relationships’ with him. He treats these girls like complete garbage, even going so far as to share their nude photos (some of which are underage) without consent,”  said Syanne.

If any of this is true, Calibre will be looking at criminal charges that will land him in prison. Besides the allegation of sexual harassment, he will be looking at charges for sharing “nudes” without consent according to the law in the state of California.

Since these allegations surfaced, Calibre has broken his silence through an unclear Tweet.”<3!!!!! #5″ is all he wrote which is far from a proper explanation which as of now is due from his end.

Krafton is back in the Indian gaming market with the announcement of their new battle-royale title Battlegrounds Mobile India. This new version of PUBG Mobile India was announced a few days ago and its pre-registration process is starting next week. If you want to be among the very first to try this new game, follow these steps to pre-register in it.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is the rebranded version of PUBG Mobile. Krafton changed its social media presence alongside other things to set up a completely new title. The game is set to come in the next few weeks and Indian PUBG Mobile players will get to enjoy their favorite game once again.

The developers were very fast in this procedure as pre-registrations are already queued up. It will start on 18th May 2021 on Google Play Store. Players with iOS devices will have to wait for such a process or the game might be directly launched for them in the future.
