How to earn Backstabber Medal in COD Mobile Season 6

Activision regularly updates the events section in Call of Duty: Mobile and it is one of the ways to introduce new content in the game. This time, the developers have added an event which offers Katana as a reward. Players need to complete several tasks and one of them is to earn backstabber medal and here is how you can do it.

The featured event section is very simple to complete as players just need to look for the tasks from the events menu and complete them in an orderly fashion. One of the tasks in this event is to get backstabber medal five times.

STEPS TO EARN BACKSTABBER MEDAL IN COD MOBILE

Backstabber medal is awarded when a player kills the enemy from behind. The medal is awarded only if you stab or slash the enemy’s back which means that a melee weapon is absolutely necessary to complete the task. Follow these steps to complete mission easily and remember to do it five times to earn the medal multiple times.

  • Go to Multiplayer and enter the loadout section.
  • Select any loadout you like and click on the secondary weapon slot. Equip a simple knife or any other melee weapon of your choice.
  • Start a match in any mode you like and stealthily position yourself is such a way that enemy can pass by your side without noticing you.
  • Once a enemy passes you, close the gap and kill them from behind and you will earn the medal.
  • Repeat the process three times to earn the medal thrice and complete the task.

This is the simplest method to complete this task. Players who like some action can even challenge their enemies for a gun versus knife fight and use their skills to get behind the enemy player and kill them. This task is slightly harder than others and hence, we recommend to use the stealth method for completing the task efficiently and in less time.

All Indian teams make it to knockouts | VCC Main Event Day 3 Summary

Another happy day for Indian Valorant fans as all three Indian teams qualified for the knockout phase of the Valorant Conquerors Championship Main Event after a Day 3 sweep. Enigma Gaming, Global Esports, and Velocity Gaming have now joined Team Exploit for the next phase of the VCC, which will begin from the 27th of August, with Team Exploit taking on Enigma as Global clash with VLT in another El Clasico.

Day 3 started with an all-Indian affair, with Global and Enigma battling it out to emerge from Group B as the top seed into the knockouts. In what was a straightforward affair, with Global conquering Enigma on Bind and Icebox with a 13-4 scoreline on both the maps.

Next, we saw VLT go up against Exceeli in a rematch of the first round in Group A, with tournament qualification on the line this time around. Despite gaining an 8-4 lead, VLT saw Exceeli take the game to overtime, with the former even having to save a map point. However, Anuj ‘Amaterasu’ Sharma and Tejas ‘rite2ace’ Sawant stepped up at the right moment to rescue VLT, who secured Haven 16-14. Exceeli gave VLT some trouble on Icebox as well, leading 9-5 at one stage. But, VLT rallied to go on an 8-round win streak on their Attacking side to win Icebox 13-9 and seal the series 2-0.

The final game of the Group Stages pit Enigma up against Salt Esports, with the winner joining the other 3 teams in the knockout phase. Enigma were never really in much trouble on Icebox and sealed the map with a quick 13-6 scoreline. Haven was once again smooth sailing for Enigma as they closed out the map 13-5 and the series 2-0 to make it 3 Indian teams in the final four.

The VCC Main Event resumes from the 27th of August, with a double-elimination format featuring VLT, Global, Enigma, and Exploit. It will be intriguing to see how the bracket will play out and who will become the representatives of South Asia at the APAC Last Chance Qualifiers.

OG Demolish G2 To Go Top Of The Group In ESL Pro League S14

After a shock defeat against Sinners esports yesterday, G2 were upset yet again. This time by international roster OG who handed them a thumping 2-0 loss to take themselves to the top of the table and send G2 reeling to the bottom. Analysts and fans both expected G2 to bounce back from yesterday’s defeat but “aleksib” and co. had a different plan altogether as they took their own map pick first, and then absolutely thrashed G2 on their pick of Inferno.

The win for OG comes off the back of another 2-0 win versus VP yesterday, and after today they have all but secured a playoff spot for themselves, needing only 1 win out of the remaining 3 to qualify and having already beaten the 2 teams ranked higher than them in the HLTV world rankings.

MAP VETO

⦁ OG removed Vertigo
⦁ G2 removed Overpass
⦁ OG picked Mirage
⦁ G2 picked Inferno
⦁ OG removed Nuke
⦁ G2 removed Ancient
⦁ Dust2 was leftover

MAP 1: Mirage

Having yet again avoided the two newest maps, Ancient and Vertigo, OG plyed their trade on their standard Mirage pick and got off to a decent start taking a lead of 5:2 before G2 found their footing. G2 went on a tear of their own, thanks to Nikola “NiKo” Kovac as he piled up 24 frags to give his team a 9:6 lead. After switching sides OG decided to show their opponents just what they were made of as they picked up 7 rounds on the trot, full buy or not it didn’t seem to matter as Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen’s reads were always on point. G2 took just one round, a partial buy with Deagles and tec-9s before OG stomped them again to take the map 16:10.

MAP 2: Inferno (Picked by: G2, Won by: OG, Final Score: 16:5)

If Mirage was considered dominant, Inferno was on another level for OG. Having picked into it consistently in the past, they were well versed with the setup and demonstrated that today. This time around, it was G2 who came out with all guns blazing, taking the pistol and the conversion and the following full buy round as well to take a 4:0 lead.

But no one could expect what Shahar ‘flameZ’ Shushan and Mateusz ‘mantuu’ Wilczewski had in store as G2 crumbled versus their might. They managed a single T round thanks to a Nemanja ‘huNter-‘ Kovač 4K as OG took the half 10:5. Aleksi continued his dominant calling as OG moved to the T side, winning every round from there on out, thereby winning 16 of the last 17 rounds of the map to take the map 16:5 and the series 2:0.

WHAT NOW FOR G2?

G2 currently sit at the bottom of the group B table with 2 losses, OG are on the top with 2 clean 2:0’s under their belt. G2 will play complexity tomorrow to redeem themselves to have a shot at qualifying while OG play forZe, the surprise entry in Pro League S14 to cement their place in the playoffs.

SkRossi tops the list of first blood kills at VCC playoffs

The road to APAC Last Chance Qualifier kicked off with fireworks, as the first places at the regional championship were also on the table. With just one for the South Asian on the line, all eyes were on the likes of Global Esports and Velocity Gaming, to see who would secure the lone spot at the said former event.

Global Esports’s Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar led the way at last week’s Valorant Conquerors Championship Grand finale against regional counterparts Velocity Gaming. The Indian side had initially qualified for the main VCC event from the second iteration of the Indian Qualifier and is currently led by Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani. The two heavyweights of Indian Valorant locked horns in the feature match of the day, as they looked to kickstart their conquest. Split played host to the first game, with Velocity Gaming running away with their opponent’s map pick.

Although post their defeat on Split, it was Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar who managed to propel the tempo of his team as he went on to rack up a significant number of kills.

Today as per data collected from vlr.gg,  SkRossi topped the amount of first blood kills across the Finals Playoffs with upto 63 first bloods under his belt. SkRossi was the difference-maker for Global Esports throughout the three-day – Finals playoffs tournament. The 22-year-old played Jett to perfection recording over 200 kills across matches played.

The best of five grand finals saw SkRossi post up a colossal 108 kill streak, more than any player could pile up in a finals appearance. First blood kills are always a charm as teams get onto a man-advantage when the former is achieved. It’s either the suffering team who would gamble and bank on their odds or would just try to hold the line as the situation permits.

SkRossi was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player, an award from a result of his heroics across the tournament with post-game footage being made available across the Esports community where he is seen celebrating, emotional from their final map win. This was also tweeted by @FionnOnFire as a tribute to the young prodigy.
