Is Halo Infinite getting a Battle Royale Mode? 

A potential Battle-royale is being set up for Halo : Infinite amid leaks and rumors from data miners and Dr Disrespect himself. 

The long-awaited arrival of Halo : Infinite Season 2 seemingly won’t attract players from across the globe as a massive part of the community have already engaged themselves to either Apex Legends or Warzone with this highly anticipated Battle Royale mode of Halo : Infinite expected to turn the tables.

Halo Infinite during its launch had undoubtedly revived the arcade games with a unique blend of game modes like Slayer, Capture the flag (CTF), Oddball and Total Control.

With the newly rumored Battle Royale, Halo Infinite will likely compete with other BR titles who have already established their long-term effect on the player-base, most notably PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds : PC and Call of Duty : Warzone.

With already being said above, leaks do suggest that Halo : Infinite’s partners at Certain Affinity who have been lent a helping hand towards the overall development of the game are working on a new project, codenamed “Tatanka”.

Tatanka is a wrestler who basically won a 40-man battle royale tournament, which indeed does suggest that there could be a possible Battle Royale feature in the Halo : Infinite Universe.

As per a report from data miner Infiniteleaks, the strings of Halo Infinite’s Battle Royale source code do reveal a plethora of settings and features including drop pods, containment zones, reviving knocked players along with the downed players bleeding out if not helped within a certain period.

New Valorant Agent Fade Revealed At VCT Masters Reykjavík

After a long wait, Riot Games has finally shed light on the upcoming Valorant Agent Fade, and fans of the shooter throughout the world are eager to see her in action.

The initial looks on Fade were revealed during the VCT Masters Reykjavík 2022 before DRX and ZETA DIVISION battled it out in the lower round of the event. The reveal showcased what the new Agent would look like, but didn’t include any actual gameplay of the Agent whatsoever.

However, Riot Games has confirmed that a cinematic trailer of the new Agent will be revealed on April 24 during the grand finals of VCT Masters Reykjavík. It’s likely that her abilities and gameplay will be made public on the same date.

While the official abilities of Fade haven’t been revealed by Riot Games as of yet, we’ve seen plenty of leaks in the past indicating what she might bring to the table.

Valorant Fade Abilities

Here are all the abilities of Fade, according to leaks:

PROWLER (C): EQUIP. FIRE to send a creature out which will travel in a straight line looking for enemies AND/OR Trails. HOLD FIRE AND MOVE MOUSE to steer the creature in the direction you are facing. When the creature finds a trail or enemy, it will move towards them. Upon reaching the enemy, it will start a .5s cooktime and then NEARSIGHT the closest enemy for 3s. Only one Creature can latch onto a TRAIL ever.

SEIZE (Q): Equip an orb. FIRE to throw the orb. The orb will travel in the air a max time of 1.5s until dropping to the ground. Upon hitting the ground, it will stick in place and being to cook for .5s. After .5s a zone will expand out to 7m and all enemies caught will be tethered to the center. Tethered enemies suffer 75 decay damage, are deafened, and cannot escape the zone by normal means for 5s. Can be reactivated in flight to drop earlier.

HAUNT (E): Equip an orb. Fire to throw the orb. The orb will travel in the air a max time of 1.5s until dropping to the ground. Once it hits the ground, It raises back up and turns into an Eye that can be destroyed. Equip this ability, fire to send out a wave of dark mist. If the mist comes in contact with an enemy they will be TRAILED, DEAF, and DECAYED for 12s.

NIGHTFALL (X): Equip this ability, FIRE to send out a wave of dark mist. If the mist comes in contact with an enemy, they will be TRAILED, DEAF, and DECAYED for 12s.

Valorant Fade Release Date

Players can expect the new Initiator to arrive alongside the Episode 4 Act 3 update on April 26, 2022.

The Warzone community loves playing the updated Rebirth Island map in Pacific Season 2 Reloaded. Raven Software updated the playlist ahead of Season 3 to keep things fresh. In Pacific Season 2 Reloaded, Warzone’s Death and Taxes LTM has replaced the standard battle royale mode. Keep reading to know how the LTM works.

Death and Taxes is a Warzone limited-time mode that was introduced on April 18 in Pacific Season 2 Reloaded. The limited-time mode or LTM will be active for 24 hours and will finish on April 19. The mode will be available on Caldera and will be available in Quads, Trios, Duos, and Solos. Moreover, it adds a fun twist to the traditional BR rules while not changing the formula too much, allowing players who prefer the standard BR rules to enjoy the game.

How does the Death & Taxes LTM in COD Warzone?

You will be able to see two significant changes in Death & Taxes LTM:

  • Unlimited Gulags before the lockdown while you are having a winning streak.
  • Reduced death tax.

In COD Warzone, you usually get only one Gulag. If you lose the Gulag in conventional BR, you will have to be bought back via a Buy Station. However, in Death and Taxes, players can keep going back as long as they keep winning. Moreover,  you can return to the Gulag if you die again.

Additionally, when you die in the basic Warzone BR mode, you lose a significant sum of money. However, there is no money tax on death in Death and Taxes, so when you return from the Gulag, you will still have money to accomplish whatever you should do.

The Professional CSGO scene is a very cut throat business. From an eye test, it may look like being a pro CSGO player is the dream scenario – getting paid to play the game you love. But aside from the money, a whole lot of other things go into being a pro player, with hours of practice, team building sessions, demo reviews and whatnot.

But for a second, let’s go back to the money aspect.  If you ever wondered how much money top CSGO pros like Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev and Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovac make, well Owen ‘smooya’ Butterfield has an answer for you.

In one of his live streams last week, smooya went on the record to talk about the salaries of certain CSGO teams. The talk started with the discussion of Copenhagen Flames and how much money Hooxi and co. make. As per smooya, the Danish quintet made around $2,000 in 2021. After an impressive run at PGL Stockholm 2021, where they placed 9th and finished just shy of the playoffs, their salaries were bumped up to $5,000. 

Then, in early December, reports of Complexity Gaming acquiring Copenhagen Flames’ roster emerged and if the deal was confirmed, the players would earn around $10,000 per month. Eventually, the deal didnt come to fruition and Complexity signed the Extra Salt trio of JT, Fang and floppy alongside Grim and Junior to go back to their North American roots. 

As for the best and biggest players in the scene such as s1mple, NiKo and Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut, how much is their salary? Well, smooya had an answer for that too.

Team Vitality’s star AWPer and 2-time world  #1, ZywOo makes around $40,000 per month and is part of a select few group of players that make more than $40,000. Smooya said around 10 players make over $40,000 while the next bracket consists of players making $15,000-$20,000. 

s1mple and NiKo, arguably two of the best  players in the world right now make more than $50,000 USD. smooya went on to say that these two deserve it, considering the brand value and the viewers they bring in, and the merch sold alongside wreaking havoc on the server for their teams, smooya is probably right.

South Korean video game company and maker of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI), KRAFTON, Inc. announced the release of three webtoons based on BGMI on April 21st, 2022. This comes in partnership with Pratilipi, India’s largest digital storytelling platform.

The webtoons that will go live include the first six episodes of Night of Silence, Retreats and 100, each portrayed in different genres: thriller, fantasy, and action, respectively.

The webtoons each tell different stories surrounding the world based on the well-renowned battle royale game, BGMI, allowing KRAFTON, Inc. to provide its fans with an immersive experience beyond the game.

The webtoons will be released in multiple Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and Marathi. Users will be able to access this localized content on Pratilipi Comics App.

Mirage kicked off with Heroic trying to institute an early lead over Natus Vincere but were unable to achieve the same as Aleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev and his troops had already started to terrorize with their onslaughts, featuring Ilya ‘Perfecto’ Zalutskiy and Valeriy ‘b1t’ Vakhovskiy lead the cavalry with the later converting the 7th round into a successful retake. Despite being down 2-6, Heroic never seemed to get on the back line as a double AWP-setup from Martin “stavn” Lund and Casper ‘cadiaN’ Møller thwarted Na’Vi’s plans into running away with a massive lead. Heroic claimed 7 rounds to their name with just a round deficit to square their opponents off.

CadiaN and his men looked destitute and listless as it was until the 22nd round, being denied by every reinforcement setup by Na’Vi and having finally showed some signs of improvement which indeed extended their drag to a total of 4 rounds but ultimately fell prey to b1t who bagged a 4-kill on the A-site and helping Na’Vi clinch their pick, 16-11.

Map : Inferno ( Pick and Winner : Heroic, Final Score : 16-13)

Inferno saw Heroic use the perfect combo of their brains and the brawl, heading straight up with a 8-2 lead over s1mple’s Na’Vi as they were seen constantly switching and picking up sites to deal their businesses at. b1t’s heroics finally got his team a breathing space with a sensational A-site lockup and getting the 3rd on board for Na’Vi. Not much could the 19 year-old further do as Heroic were the yet among the favorites to win Inferno, top-scoring the first half 10-5.

Second half of Inferno was where things started to get dicey and sweat out Heroic. With a plethora of back and forth rounds traded, it had become tough to determine whether the Danes would either force Map 3 or will it be Na’Vi clean sweep the former to qualify for the PGL Antwerp Major 2022. Heroic did race onto the 20th round with a healthy 14-6 lead only to nearly blow up their deficit down to just two rounds on match point where Ismail ‘refrezh’ Ali would seize the deal with a very 3-kill round of his own to help his team square off the Best of 3 series 1-1.

Map : Nuke ( Pick : Left out in Veto, Winner Heroic, Final Score : 16-13)

It all came down to Nuke, the final and deciding map of the series. No team really took off at the start and struggled to embrace dominance as the Na’Vi and Heroic continued to trade rounds back and forth with rotations being forced upon and so on.

The first half ended with Heroic in the driver’s seat which indeed set up the momentum for CadiaN who went berserk with his AWP, clutching out a 1v3, adding up to the woes of Na’Vi who were able to draw just 2 rounds in the second half as the Danish side reverse sweeped the former to qualify for the PGL Antwerp Major 2022.
