These Are the Most Popular Streamers Right Now

0

Streaming has taken off as the biggest form of entertainment today. It gains more viewers than TV and movies, and naturally a good amount of money while they’re at it.

There’s a wide variety of niche streamers exist in IRL streams, cooking shows, cosplay creation, music – to name a few. One thing, though, does generally form the backbone of the whole ‘streaming’ identity: gaming. Be it on console, PC, or mobile, gaming has become a central figure in which streamers can engage directly with their audience and entertain them.

There are certain games that become incredibly popular in a specific moment. However, there is, often, a strong range of games streamers play which attracts an audience.

Outside of the usual AAA games and indie games, online casinos are also a popular option. For instance, many streamers center their content strategy around online slots found on providers listed on Time2play. There is no single game or game type that doesn’t hold an audience.

Essentially, one of the key things streaming offers gaming is a way for it to be ‘professional’. But who’s worth watching? We’re breaking down the most popular streamers on Twitch and YouTube right now.

Ninja

ninja valorant

It was obviously going to be Ninja. The pioneer of the game streaming world, the one that knocked the fabled PewDiePie off his pedestal and became the face of streaming in the mainstream media. This likely means he had to answer the same question of “Why are people watching you play a game?” thousands of times by now.

He hasn’t been knocked from his highest place of 17.5 million followers in the years since he burst onto the scene either, which is commendable. Just because you’re first often doesn’t mean you’re

Sykkuno

Ah, Sykkuno. Is there a more pure being on this earth? This GTA V streamer is the ultimate test of whether violent games are really corrupt, and we would have to conclude that the experiment has failed. He is simply too adorable for even the GTA world. His 4 million fans would surely agree, adding him to fan art with large eyes you could drown in and his wide range of friendly collaborative gamers allowing him quite the interesting angle when they play Among Us together.

Hasan Piker

LOS ANGELES, CA – OCTOBER 20: Hasan Piker speaks onstage during Politicon 2018 at Los Angeles Convention Center on October 20, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Phillip Faraone/Getty Images for Politicon)

Hasan Piker is an odd one, in that the gaming aspect, mainly around Fortnite, takes a back seat to his ongoing activism. Hasan is a very vocal steamer, calling himself a political commentator and often weighing in on any issue of the day.

Hasan is a rare example of making it even without gaming, as he is the exception on a list of massive streamers who hasn’t relied on his occasional Fortnite playing to gain an audience of 2 million viewers on Twitch alone. And that’s all considering the polarizing subject of politics is all over his branding and content.

Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu might not be immediately known to fans of the likes of Minecraft or Fortnite, but he is a gaming streamer. The fans of the poker scene will know his name well. You will often see him streaming not only his day-to-day life but his time in Las Vegas entering the World Series of Poker tournament every year, wracking up millions of dollars in winnings and a few poker bracelets, the equivalent of a trophy in the poker world.

But in the months between tournaments, he is often found on Twitch playing online poker games. He can be matched up with other poker players and play online, teaching his fans strategies and giving intense gaming entertainment. You and 124k other followers can find him playing, from his bed apparently, on Twitch.

Dream

Dream is a semi-controversial figure in the gaming space, perhaps due to the mystery that surrounds him. Having never shown his face beyond the hastily scrawled smiley face that makes up his profile pictures, nor really given out much about his life, we can only deduce that he is an American streamer with a love of Minecraft.

The 2x Streamy Award winner is one of the biggest players on the platform, with 29 million subscribers on his YouTube channel alone. He is known for his speedruns, of which comes about his biggest controversy: cheating… or not? It depends on who you ask.

Tommy Innit

Remember the kid that went viral for yelling “My college essay is due tomorrow!” and promptly logged off? Outsiders looking in might have just thought it was a one and done moment, lost to the ether, but the gaming fans know that Tommyinnit is a dedicated YouTuber and Twitch streamer with 11.6 million subscribers on his YouTube page, mainly centered around Minecraft.

The cutesy kid, or rather adult, now having turned 18 this year, from Nottingham appeals to gamers who like a good old-fashioned laugh in their content. Keep the edgelord jokes and the politics aside and just build something in Minecraft once you’ve finished your college work.

Marshmello

Electronic music producer Marshmello has recently got into the gaming sphere, launching his Fortnite content alongside his music and even cooking content on his channel, which is home to 55.1 million subscribers.

The “Silence”, “Wolves”, and “Friends” producer known for his smiley face bucket head mask, does everything with it on, even gaming. Granted, most of the time it’s for a charity event or a bit of fun, but he’s got quite the personality and some skills behind that mask.

Though, They had a hard time converting and replicating their performance in the Playoffs stage, where they fell through, Losing to Velocity Gaming in their opening game and then to Global Esports again. They had an amazing show and would surely return stronger next time.

Scargod had an amazing performance throughout the SCS group stage and Chennai LAN Playoffs. After his departure, a slot was left to fill in the team.

How to Turn On New Clutch Mute Feature in Valorant

0

Backseat gaming has haunted FPS gamers since the dawn of multiplayer shooters. For the unaware, backseat gaming is when your teammates keep talking or instructing you what to do on the microphone even after they themselves have died. Let’s face it, nobody likes those people.

In an intense competitive shooter like Valorant, backseat gaming can often be annoying for players who are alive, especially during clutch situations. While CS:GO, one of the most popular games of the genre, has always allowed players to set custom keybinds through the console to disable teammates’ microphones with the press of a button, Valorant players didn’t have the same freedom till today.

In the latest Valorant patch 4.11, Riot Games has finally introduced a ‘Clutch Mute’ button that enables players to mute their teammates and/or party members during clutch situations (or whenever they want to, really) with the simple press of a button.

Curious to find out how you can enable this feature? Let’s take a look at how to turn on the new clutch mute feature in Valorant patch 4.11.

Valorant Patch 4.11: How to Turn On Clutch Mute?

The Clutch Mute feature enables you to take matters into your own hands and eliminate distractions during intense clutch situations in the game.

Valorant players can simply assign a key to the new ‘Clutch Mute’ feature by following these steps:

  • Launch Valorant
  • From the main menu, navigate to Settings > Controls > Communication.
  • There, you can set individual keybinds for Party and Team Voice Clutch Mute. You can also choose to set the same key to mute both Party and Team voice chats.

That’s it! Now you’ve successfully assigned a key to Clutch Mute in Valorant and ready to try it out in-game.

To test it out once you’re in-game, press the keybind that you have assigned to clutch mute to turn on the feature. The button can be pressed again to toggle it off. You’ll also see a visual indicator on the screen displaying if your clutch mute is enabled.

Valorant is a free-to-play competitive shooter by Riot Games that’s currently available to play on PC.

New Valorant Map to be Set in Lisbon, Portugal: Leaks

0

As the release date of Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 draws near, Riot Games has already started teasing details of the new Valorant map that the new episode will bring to the shooter.

It has been a while since Valorant’s newest map, Fracture, was added to the shooter back in September 2021. Fans of the shooter have been eagerly waiting for a new map since then. Luckily, Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 is set to bring an end to the wait, as it will bring with it a new map that will be set in Lisbon, Portugal, according to leaks.

New Valorant Map: What We Know So Far

On June 9th, Riot Games posted a picture on their Twitter handle that appears to be a teaser for the new Valorant map.

‘Prepare to dive,’ the caption reads, showing a picture of what appears to be an underwater city. The text on the picture, when translated from Portugese, says, “Celebrate our City, A marvel below the Waves.”

This can potentially hint towards the new Valorant map being completely underwater, and many fans of the title are comparing this location to that of the underwater city of Rapture in the BioShock series.

While not much else has been teased by Riot regarding the upcoming map, we have seen plenty of leaks surfacing in the past that can give us a decent idea of what the new map will be like.

In the past, dataminer Disturbo had managed to leak some of the files for the Arcane bundle which had a texture revealing the coordinates to Lisbon, Portugal.

Players were also quick to notice that the cards found at the end of the current battlepass displayed yellow trams which are famously from Lisbon. Popular Valorant dataminer ‘ValorLeaks’ further pointed out that in a voicemail from Fade, added in the 4.09 patch, she explained that she saw a “place of secrets” in the minds of Lisbon’s people.

These clues have led Valorant fans to believe that the next map will be set in Lisbon, Portugal. The exact release date for the new map hasn’t been set in stone yet, but fans can expect to see it land alongside the Episode 5 Act 1 update around June 18th.

Three Youngsters From Esports Background Launch AA Gaming, the one-stop destination for organizing esports and gaming events

0

Founded by ex-Nodwin Gaming employee Akash Dhangar in October 2021 with Aditya Raj joining as the co-founder in April 2022, AA Gaming provides end-to-end event solutions for brands and companies looking to host esports tournaments.

The company’s list of services includes software development, event production, content creation, talent management, media networking, and more – everything a brand would need to organize an event.

The company is currently bootstrapped and their success has enabled them to quickly grow the team to 12 people, with AA Gaming actively hiring more. The company has an office in Pune but has served clients across South Asia which includes Sportskeeda Nodwin Gaming, Skyesports, and India Today Gaming.

Akash Dhangar, Founder, CEO, and Managing Director of AA Gaming spoke about his decision to start the company, “I have been working in the esports business for over three years now, and one problem that I witnessed was the low quality of third-party tournaments and the dearth of offline events in South Asia, even before the pandemic began. AA Gaming was founded to give a solution to brands in order for them to provide the broadcast quality which esports fans expect. Our goal is to reach out to the country’s grassroots and give an esports platform for underdogs.”

“AA Gaming, with our extensive experience of offline events, has helped break the monopoly in this field by giving brands choices if they want to execute a LAN tournament,” he added.

AA Gaming also has its home-developed software for production which automates much of the process. Clients can avail their services to get access to this unique software.

Aditya Raj, co-founder, and COO of AA Gaming said, “With our well-experienced team, AA Gaming has executed more than 10 events in the past year. Going forward, we aren’t just restricting ourselves to gaming and esports but also providing services to organize conferences, sports events, entertainment events, news, and shows.”

AA Gaming is currently exploring opportunities for a fundraiser to expand further into the worldwide esports industry while continuing to provide white-label and third-party solutions and create exclusive IPs.

We Had A Quick Chat With AA Gaming Founders, you can read the full interview below.

How did AA Gaming come to be? When and what made you form AA Gaming?

Akash: We have been working in production as freelancers and at different companies for a few years now and one thing we observed were the flaws in production by third-party TOs and the need for better quality of broadcasts for the esports audience.

This is what made us form the initial idea of AA Gaming way back in 2018. Our goal was to create a one-stop destination for high-quality esports production and to make esports more accessible to brands. These plans were put on hold, however, due to a lack of funds but I returned to later to found AA Gaming in October 2021.

Aditya: Yes, as Akash said, our goal was to create a place where brands with no prior experience in esports production can just come to organize events. Our end-to-end event solutions services which include production, content creation, talent management, and more, have made us exactly that.

What has AA Gaming championed according to you? What is that aspect which sets you apart from other established competitors?

Akash: Well, the first thing is that there aren’t many companies which can offer the end-to-end services we do. On top of this, me, Aditya, and most of our employees come from a technical background which we have found is something that lacks in our competitors. We find ways to integrate this background in tech into production to enhance our quality further.

My technical background has enabled me to create a unique software which we use in production. This software is what really sets AA Gaming apart as it automates a lot of the production process and is useful in graphics for esports broadcasts.

Aditya: I have a background in electronical engineering and years of production experience so I have a deep know-how on hardware. This also helps execute LAN events smoothly like the AMD Skyesports Souvenir.

You served at Nodwin for a long time. How has the experience at Nodwin helped with running AA Gaming?

Akash: Nodwin Gaming is one of the biggest esports companies in the reigon and my time there has taught me a lot of things. They have been organizing esports events for a long time now and working for them on these helped me develop a much deeper understanding of esports production. My time there has been very helpful in running the technical side of AA Gaming.

Aditya: Besides this, the time at Nodwin also taught us how to handle stress, and gave us experience of working in a fast-paced environment, and overall polished us as individuals. These have been vital to what we have been doing at AA Gaming.

You must have faced a lot of challenges during the formation and early initiation of AA Gaming. What was the one event that really tested you and your team?

Akash: In terms of online events, it was the Gillette 7Sea Invitational which we executed earlier this year. It was challenging because just before the event we recreated and updated our software and also restructured the entire production flow. The team took a bit of time to get familiar with this but we were able to conduct the event without any mishaps. The toughest event, though, had to be the Skyesports Souvenir LAN we executed. I will let Aditya explain why that is.

Aditya: Yes definitely, the Skyesports Souvenir was our first LAN event in around three years, and the first offline event for AA Gaming. For many of our staff, this was the first LAN event they executed. This is what made it extremely challenging. We took it one step at a time and were able to conduct the event smoothly in Mumbai.

We did run into some problems on the first day but these were fixed within 40 minutes and the rest of the event happened flawlessly. I can say that I am proud of the team for how we managed to pull it off. The Skyesports Souvenir has set us up to continue hosting more LAN events in the future which we expect to be doing more often with the COVID-19 situation improving.

How does the future look like for AA Gaming? What’s next?

Answer – For now, we will be continuing to provide whitelabel and third-party solutions to tournament organizers and brands. We have grown rapidly in the past few months and to fuel this even further, we are looking to raise some funds soon. We are also building a new office and are hiring aggressively across all roles.

Aditya: Other than this, we are also thinking of not just limiting ourselves to esports and gaming. We have the capability to organize any offline or online event and we will be expanding our services to any client looking to do an event in whichever field. This includes executing conferences, sports events, entertainment events, news, shows, and more. The future looks very promising.

Fortnite: First Person View Mode Leaked By Data Miners

0

The most successful battle royale game might be getting a first-person view option soon as per new data-mined information.

According to reliable leaker and data miner HYPEX, Epic Games is secretly working on a first-person camera view mode for the game. Files related to a first-person mode were recently data-mined after the latest update of the game.

“FIRST-PERSON CAMERA IN FORTNITE 🔥

This update Epic began working on some stuff about first-person camera mode but there’s no other info about it at the moment as it looks like it’s still in early development. Would work REALLY well for the Zero Build Modes” — HYPEX (@HYPEX)

HYPEX mentioned that Epic Games has just barely begun working on the first-person mode. Fully adopting a new camera mode into a vast game like Fortnite will definitely take some extra developer hours to debug and fix everything in order to deliver fans a snappy experience.

Since Fortnite has always been a third-person view game, a permanent first-person view mode will break many things and introduce a number of glitches in the game which Epic Games will need to address before even thinking to offer a beta version.

A certain group of community members and players have always been asking Epic to add a first-person view mode to the game and with the latest data-mined information those fans can rejoice. With the Zero Build mode disabling the ever-so-popular build mode in Fortnite, many fans believe that a first-person view mode will fit perfectly in the game as the third-person view mode isn’t a necessity now.

Wordle 356 answers and hints for June 10, 2022

0

Wordle is a word guessing game published by New York Times. The game was created by Welsh software engineer Josh Wardle and started gaining much attention online. Every day People rush to nytimes.com to solve the wordle and maintain a streak.

Wordle is a global phenomenon with the primary objective being guessing a five-letter word in six tries. Every time you enter a word, the letters turn either Green or Yellow, which are clues to guess the “Word of the day.”

A green tile signifies the letter is correctly positioned, while a yellow tile represents the letter is present in the word but in the wrong position. One’s supposed to use these clues to guess what is the “Word of the day.”

The “Word of the day” resets every 24-hours, and the website uses Caches to store your progress which includes accuracy, streak, and total no. of times you played the game. People worldwide try to guess the word every day and maintain the streak, which is the main reason the game is popular.

Solving 10th June’s Wordle 356

An excellent first word for every day should be something that would provide maximum information. One such word is ‘ADIEU,’ Adieu gives you four out of five vowels, and there are seldom words without a vowel.

The next step involves trying to guess the word based on the first word. Let’s assume it is ‘ADIEU’ for Wordle #356. In that case, we get I & E as the incorrectly positioned letters.

Now, if you have ‘Hard Mode’ enabled, you’d have to ensure the next word includes the letter I. If not, you can go with ‘CORNY,’ which gives you correctly positioned ‘Y’ and eliminates the last vowel and other letters.

Now the next word should contain I and E not at the third fourth position, and should end on Y. You should start guessing with two possibilities, I in the second place and E in the third, E in the second and I in the fourth. There is a rare occurrence of E at the start but let’s skip that.

With I in the fourth position, there aren’t words which would fit. So the only possible guess has to be I and E in the second and third position respectively. Now let’s start guessing the word.

Wordle 356 Answer: PIETY

Piety is a religious person. Someone follows religious rites and customs ‘Devotionally’
