VALORANT Reaver 2.0 Skin Bundle: Price, Release Date, & More

Twitter user Valorant Updated has surfaced a leak which headlines the probable release of the Valorant Reaver 2.0 Skin Bundle, the second entry in the series. The first iteration made its way into the game back in November 2020 after just 5 months of the first person tactical shooter’s release.

The bundle quickly rose to prominence with Jett mains getting the same due to its cosmetic appearance and with her ability to dash, making them want the Operator more than any other skin-line.

The leaks suggest the Reaver Bundle 2.0 will feature Odin, Phantom and a Karambit themed Melee weapon while the rest are to be determined once Riot confirms the launch of the bundle.

Just like the previous iteration of the bundle, it is expected that Reaver 2.0 will be priced somewhere around 11,825 Valorant Points and will break stores upon its arrival.

As far, we can’t confirm the integrity of this leak supported by the fact that the same might be photoshopped but it definitely won’t hurt if we do believe its authenticity. ValorantUpdated on his Twitter handle stated that no game files corresponding to the leak were found with Riot yet to confirm the details.

Valorant, Riot’s FPS, has been a resounding success since its release in 2020, thanks to its unique blend of tactical shooting mechanics and ability-based gameplay along with a wide selection of incredible-looking cosmetics that indeed have enticed the player-base to grind the game out.

A voice pack in BGMI is essentially a way through which players can communicate with each other. The normal voice pack or standard voice that is available in-game can now be replaced with the voices of a selective famous streamers and now, Thug is one of them.

This launch brings a total of two of the Thug’s voice packs to the game. The basic voice pack will just have Thug reciting some of the famous in-game voice commands and the special version which is set to release very soon will have some Hindi dialogues.

Looking at the past few voice packs, it is estimated that Thug’s special pack will really be special as he will put his own famous dialogues in the game. It will be interesting to see what this voice pack brings on the table for the players.

Players that are looking to buy the standard version of Thug voice pack can do so by going to the Treasure section in BGMI and navigate to his voice pack. Pay the necessary UC and then you can enable it on the go.

Questions about PUBG Mobile raised in ongoing Parliamentary Monsoon Session

PUBG Mobile recently became a part of parliamentary monsoon session discussion as Shri. V. Vijayasai Reddy, a member of parliament, posed a few questions to MeitY regarding the game’s ban, its involvement in a homicide media report and actions taken by the responsible ministries to block apps similar to the banned ones.

It is a known fact that PUBG Mobile is banned in India for more than two years now. The game has bid adieu to India in 2020 but has become a topic of discussion yet again as some questions were posed regarding its involvement in a case and the ban as a whole.

PUBG Mobile was banned alongside a ton of other applications in the three ban waves and as per the questions asked to MeitY, the availability of such rebranded apps, the third-party stores making them available to the public and especially, the involvement of PUBG in a criminal case.

The murder case cited here is of a teen shooting his mother after she stopped him from playing PUBG Mobile. This horrific incident led to National Commission for Protection of Child Rights to write a letter to MeitY seeking explanation of how PUBG Mobile is available for minors despite the game being banned in the country.

This case is again cited in the questioning of parliament member. The entire set of questions is attached below:

MeitY has responded to these questions in the parliamentary session and provided three pointers to answer each and every question asked. They have said that all of the queries regarding the surfacing of rebranded banned apps or similarly functioning applications are forwarded to Ministry of Home Affairs for further action.

The appearance of PUBG in the country will be a “matter of investigation by LEAs” but the game is banned in India since 2020, MeitY said in their second statement.

To answer the doubts raised on efforts to ban such apps, MeitY said that official stores such as Google Play and Apple App Store were already directed to remove the banned applications. Several ISPs in India were also given directions to block the connection to such domains by DoT.

FIFA 23: EA’s relentless ambition to bestow its FIFA series a happy ending

0

Since its starting as FIFA International Soccer in 1993 to FIFA 23, the AAA title had quite a long journey, and finally, it has come to an end as EA and FIFA both officially parted away. What happened to the partnership despite the game series being older than some of the gamers who are playing the game? Well, it was quite an argument.

Even though there were a few other reasons, the major dissension was regarding the licensing fee. FIFA asked not a few million dollars more but to double the fee while Electronic Arts didn’t endorse the deal and moved back instead. In addition, FIFA vowed to develop its own game within a year or so. On the opposite side, EA will continue making football games that will be renamed to EA Sports FC. However, there won’t be any FIFA-sponsored events in the upcoming games that will obviously diminish the game’s authenticity to some extent.

Therefore, FIFA 23 is the last outcome of the 30-year-old partnership and EA has gone all out to please the community as it seems. Although we are two months away from the release date, the official FIFA 23 Pitch Notes look good enough. Are there a lot of changes? Is there something engrossing? For a company like EA, who doesn’t really care much about the community, the delineated changes seem adequate.

Let’s talk about the changes for a minute. Crossplay is something the community wanted since a long time ago. FIFA 22 led the way but it was restricted to Online Friendlies and Online Seasons only. However, the developers have decided to effectuate crossplay in an extensive manner within FIFA 23. Starting from different game modes to FUT Transfer Market Pool, crossplay will be everywhere. Moreover, the addition of EA Anticheat will be beneficial for the community.

fifa 23 crossplay

Apart from that, women’s football is a key highlight of FIFA 23. Women’s club football is all set to make its debut in this game. Alongside Kylian Mbappé, this time Sam Kerr who plays for the Australian women’s national soccer team is the cover star of FIFA 23. Comprehensively, EA has emphasized women’s football throughout the game. In my opinion, it is a good decision beyond any doubt and EA should make women’s football as prevailing as men’s in the game.

fifa 23 sam kerr

With FIFA 23, EA is boasting its Hypermotion2 technology as well. While FIFA 22 introduced Hypermotion to consoles only, FIFA 23 will bring the technology to PC for the first time. The Hypermotion2 is set to have more than 6,000 true-to-life animations which according to EA will bring more realistic movements and mechanics into the game.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 will also be there in the game with a full season of world cup inspired content. EA has also added augmented reality replays, pre-match build-up, and hyper-realistic pitch along with new commentary to provide an immersive experience.

Even though EA beat a retreat from paying the double licensing fee, they have successfully doubled the size of the game from 50 GB(FIFA 22) to 100 GB(FIFA 23) regardless of the platforms.

With all those features, will FIFA 23 be able to get admiration from the community? Only time has the answer.

Do you think EA has done enough to get a round of applause? Let us know in the comment section below.

Valorant YouTuber SeLFlo Commits Suicide After Suffering Years From Depression

23-year-old YouTuber and Valorant content creator ‘SeLFlo’ committed suicide on the morning of July 21st after several years of suffering from depression.

The Information Technology and Management (IITM) Gwalior student, who lived in Telengana, India, reportedly ended his life at his residence by jumping from the top of the apartment complex in Hyderabad.

Before his death, SeLFlo posted a suicide note on his YouTube channel, which has now been deleted. He also posted a Tweet explaining his thoughts and everything that he went through over the past few years that led up to this point.

Valorant Streamer SeLFlo Pens An Emotional Note

“I know my death won’t be remembered much sadly, that’s just what I have logically arrived at, for I am selflo, not a person but a news channel. No face but a voice, who loved to interact with the community and who genuinely cared about the community and not like other channels, who wanted to have a better life for the past 5+ years but couldn’t,” his note reads.

While his original video is no longer available on YouTube, reuploads of it made by some other users are still available on the platform.

Another popular Valorant content creator, ‘WestJett’, had tried to shed light on the issue and urged people to contact the authorities, but it was already too late by then.

WestJett later proceeded to raise awareness about mental health through a YouTube video, where he talked about some of the available resources that people could utilize if they were struggling with depression and other mental health conditions.

What is Project Stryker?

Project Stryker as Riot says, will be a local facility decked out with state-of-the-art facilities that will feature broadcast production, engineering, event, sound, and graphic design professionals. The first such facility will be opened in Dublin, Ireland where Riot Games has already built a 50,000 square feet long state-of-the-art broadcasting facility.

In the future, two more Project Stryker facilities will open, one in Seattle USA, and another one in the Asia-Pacific region. Aside from different locations, each facility will provide production tools to create unique shows across a variety of languages spoken in the region. Plus each facility will be equipped with AR/XR sound stages and multi-purpose insert studios to unlock more creative production opportunities for different games and entertainment teams.

Riot Games and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have also joined hands to power Project Stryker Facilities with AWS servers and infrastructure. Each Project Stryker facility will feature AWS-powered Cloud Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Machine Learning, Cloud Deep Learning, and Cloud Services. Additionally, AWS will be enhancing the content around esports events by providing in-depth stats and insights in real-time. Here’s what fans can look forward to:

  • AWS Global Power Rankings: Data-driven power rankings comparing all the top teams from around the world. Nearly in real-time, these power rankings will be displayed on-screen during major tournaments as the best pro teams in LoL, VALORANT, and Wild Rift move up and down the ladder with their performances.
  • Pick’em Powered by AWS: Esports fans will now be able to participate in bracket challenges and compete for prizes by picking the teams that will make it to championship events.

Project Stryker is a revolutionary project aimed at improving the broadcasting sector of esports. Riot Games aims to boost its local interaction by offering unique content in different languages that can be tuned especially according to the region’s requirements.
