Rainbow Six Siege releases Anti-Cheat Update: All you need to know

0

Ubisoft has released a major security update for the Rainbow Six Siege anti-cheat system. Apart from strengthening the anti-cheat, the developers also introduced data ban and text chat reputation penalty.

During the past few years, the number of cheaters in R6S were shooting up. Several players reported it to the developers. Even though the developers ban thousands of players around the end of a season, the ban waves weren’t enough to tackle the increasing number of cheaters.

Rainbow Six Siege introduced QB Initiative

To combat the huge number of cheaters, Ubisoft came up with the QB Initiative. According to the developers, this initiative was developed during the past few months to ban cheaters.

The PC Rainbow Six Siege community is fed up with cheaters and the developers have introduced this anti-cheat update, especially for PC players.

However, Ubisoft didn’t reveal more details of the update to protect its integrity. Still, the developers have promised that this update will definitely combat cheaters and will decrease the numbers significantly.

Here is a list of all the cheats addressed by the anti-cheat system in this update:

  • Pause in planning phase
  • Amaru No Clip
  • Aruni Melee exploit
  • Iana No Clip
  • Force Gadget
  • Infinite Ammo
  • Remote/Instant Kill

If you have got a cheater in a game, the best way to ban him is to report the player within the game. Now you can also report a cheater on social media with these following proofs:

  • Clear video or photo proof of the cheater’s incident
  • The offending player’s Username and User ID
  • Match ID for any relevant matches
  • Date and Time of the incident

Among these additions is the new controller Harbor, whose unique water-based kit helps lock down important choke points and isolate gunfights to gain his team the upper hand in gunfights.

While you may already have tried out the Indian Agent on Valorant’s battlefields, have you ever wondered about who the voice behind Harbor is?

In this article, we’re gonna take a look at Harbor’s voice actor in Valorant, what games he has worked on in the past, and more.

Who is the Voice Actor Behind Harbor in Valorant?

Harbor has been voiced by veteran voice actor Sunil Malhotra. It goes without saying that the star has done an impressive job to bring Valorant’s newest Agent to life.

League of Legends players may already be familiar with his voice acting as he has also portrayed Akshan in the Riot MOBA.

Besides League, Sunil Malhotra has also worked on the popular video game Halo: Reach as Jun, a member of the Noble team, alongside other games like Mortal Kombat 11 or Fallout 4.

Valorant: All Cypher Buffs Coming In Valorant Update 5.10

0

The Valorant patch 5.10 Public Beta Environment notes include a comprehensive change log that details buffs to Cypher and nerfs to Fade. These changes could have significant repercussions for the agent in the game.

Cypher is one of the Agents in Valorant who has received the fewest picks. This is typically due to the fact that other Sentinels now suit the meta and can deliver advantages that Cypher cannot.

Riot Games evaluated Cypher’s abilities in a recent State of the Game blog post and said they always wanted to improve the Agent. The Moroccan Sentinel is expected to get a significant amount of power creep as Patch 5.10 gets closer and closer to being released.

The upcoming patch 5.10 for Valorant will likely include some improvements to Cypher’s kit.

Other adjustments, such as nerfs to Fade and bug fixes for Harbor, are also planned to be implemented with the next patch 5.10. Riot intends to implement several fit-and-finish modifications to the game in addition to the Agent adjustments they have designed, such as a change to the Menu screen.

The patch brought a long-overdue modification to Cypher’s kit, which fans noticed immediately. In light of this information, the designers and developers at Riot Games have been working to make playing Sentinel more satisfying.

Throughout the infant years of Valorant, Cypher was consistently among the leading candidates for selection by the Sentinels. Having said that, the inclusion of Killjoy and, later on, Chamber has driven the shooter’s meta onto an entirely new course of action.

With Chamber’s inclusion, the Sentinel playstyle has changed, but the Cypher adjustments will let players experiment with the Agent’s utility. As a result, playing the role of Cypher as an Agent will undoubtedly become easier and more focused on gathering information.

Below you can find the patch notes of Cypher’s buffs in the PBE:

Trapwire

  • Maximum Trapwire length increased by 1000 >>> 1500.

Neural Theft

  • Neural Theft now reveals enemies two times. There is a four-second delay between the reveals.
  • Time restriction to cast on enemy corpses has been removed.
  • Maximum cast distance increased by 1200 >>> 1800.

Quality of Life

  • Updated the yellow silhouette used for Cypher’s reveal on Spycam and Neural Theft.
  • Yellow silhouette now disappears if the revealed enemy becomes visible to you to help reduce confusion of seeing two representations of the enemy in different places.
  • Yellow silhouette now starts dimmer and fades faster to make it more distinguishable from an actual enemy.
  • Cypher’s placed utility is no longer destroyed by allies’ AOE damage.

Cypher’s Trapwire and Neural Theft ultimate are improved. His setups should become less predictable as the Trapwire length increases trip placement options. With two pings, Neural Theft delivers additional adversary position data. The ultimate’s brief disclosure and lack of movement made it unreliable for adversary preparations.

Cypher can now cast Neural Theft on any enemy corpse, regardless of the player’s death. He may do so from farther away, making casting safer.

TSM sponsor FTX in trouble after Binance acquisition fails

0

Amidst the turmoil in the cryptocurrency space, TSM sponsor FTX finds themselves hanging in mid-air after prominent crypto exchange Binance announced that they would pull the acquisition deal in place after internal discrepancies among the FTX ranks arose.

Two days ago, on November 8th, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao announced that he would be acquiring FTX in its entirety which would see two majors players of the crypto exchange market join forces; however, in light of recent findings, Binance was forced to pull the deal, leaving FTX in significant trouble.

Shortly afterward, Binance announced that the deal would be pulled after news about FTX surrounding mishandled customer funds surfaced. Given that Binance could pull out of the agreement after financial due diligence, they wasted no time and announced their decision.

“In the beginning, our hope was to be able to support FTX’s customers to provide liquidity, but the issues are beyond our control or ability to help,” Binance added to their official statement.

FTX “has been scrambling to meet a surge of withdrawal requests,” according to The New York Times.

Before the meltdown, FTX acquired rights and sponsorships for several of the top esports organization, namely TSM, whose naming rights were obtained for a reported $210 Million for ten years, along with Furia, who also struck deals of a significant amount.

Following the deal falling through, several reports suggest that FTX will have trouble fulfilling the financial commitments. As a result, the said esports teams might be in a situation where a big chunk of their operational finances may be jeopardized.

0

Mortal is a well known content creator and one of the biggest gaming celebrity in India. He has grown multifold within a short span of two years and has inspired many to choose a career in gaming. He recently explained how a player should approach gaming as a career and here are the excerpts.

Esports industry has grown a lot in India and one of the biggest reasons for this is the arrival of PUBG Mobile and subsequently BGMI in the country. This game has provided a lot to Indian players and paved a path for many to be professional athletes. Mortal is one of such players.

HOW TO BECOME PRO GAMER ACCORDING TO MORTAL

In one of his recent streams, Mortal explained his perspective on how a player can become professional gamer in India. He explained the necessary steps and actions that one has to take to fulfill this dream, which is hard but not impossible.

Mortal said that everyone should pursue a career in gaming as a side career and not a full time thing while starting out. He explained that this can be compared with any hobby that an individual can have and how one can grow with it.

A player should start their journey into gaming as a side hustle and continue with their full time education or job until they make it. Mortal correlated this with a soccer example where players can play the sport as a hobby in hopes of making it to the professional stage one day.
