Wardogs Devs Confirm Closed Beta and Early Access Dates

Bulkhead has officially dropped the dates for the upcoming closed beta and the early access release of Wardogs, and it’s closer than you might think.

For the unaware, Wardogs is a tactical all-out warfare FPS title that has taken the internet by storm over the past week. With its closed alpha test concluding recently on August 9th, the community has been eagerly looking forward to the devs for an official announcement regarding its next closed beta and the final release.

Fortunately, through an announcement on August 11, the devs have finally shed light on the next Wardogs closed beta and its early access release.

Here’s everything we know so far about the Wardogs release dates.

Wardogs Closed Beta Dates

The next closed beta for Wardogs is scheduled to commence on August 21, 2026, with no end date being set in stone as of yet.

Note that the last closed alpha took place from August 7-9th, so fans can expect a similar time frame for the next beta test.

Similar to the closed alpha, the Wardogs beta will have extremely limited slots, and not everyone will be able to gain access to it.

If you want to try your luck at getting access to the Wardogs beta, be sure to go to the game’s Steam page and hit ‘Request Access’.

There’s also a method to ensure your Wardogs closed beta invitation, which we’ll get to later.

Wardogs Early Access Release Date

Alongside revealing the closed beta dates, Bulkhead has also confirmed the early access release date for Wardogs.

As confirmed by the devs, Wardogs will officially launch in early access on September 10, 2026, with its price tag being set at $40 USD.

Players who buy Wardogs early access will get automatic invites to the upcoming closed beta on August 21.

The devs have also noted that the price of Wardogs will increase at the time of its 1.0 release and is expected to be around $60 USD.
